Mark 7
1 And there came together to him the Pharisees, and some of the scribes, who had come from Jerusalem:
Und es kamen zu ihm die Pharisäer und etliche von den Schriftgelehrten, die von Jerusalem kommen waren.
2 and when they saw some of his disciples eating bread with common, that is, with unwashed hands:
Und da sie sahen etliche seiner Jünger mit gemeinen, das ist, mit ungewaschenen Händen das Brot essen, versprachen sie es.
3 (for the Pharisees and all the Jews eat not, unless they wash their hands carefully, because they hold the tradition of the elders:
Denn die Pharisäer und alle Juden essen nicht, sie waschen denn die Hände manchmal; halten also die Aufsätze der Ältesten.
4 and when they come from the market, they do not eat, unless they immerse themselves. And there are many other things, which they have received to hold, as the immersion of cups and pitchers and brazen vessels and beds: )
Und wenn sie vom Markt kommen, essen sie nicht, sie waschen sich denn. Und des Dings ist viel, das sie zu halten haben angenommen, von Trinkgefäßen und Krügen und ehernen Gefäßen und Tischen zu waschen.
5 then the Pharisees and the scribes asked him: Why do your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands?
Da fragten ihn nun die Pharisäer und Schriftgelehrten: Warum wandeln deine Jünger nicht nach den Aufsätzen der Ältesten, sondern essen das Brot mit ungewaschenen Händen?
6 He answered and said to them: Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
Er aber antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Wohl fein hat von euch Heuchlern Jesaja geweissagt, wie geschrieben steht: Dies Volk ehret mich mit den Lippen, aber ihr Herz ist ferne von mir.
7 In vain do they worship me, teaching precepts, the commandments of men.
Vergeblich aber ist's, daß sie mir dienen, dieweil sie lehren solche Lehre, die nichts ist denn Menschengebot.
8 For, neglecting the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men, the immersion of pitchers and cups; and many other things like these you do.
Ihr verlasset Gottes Gebot und haltet der Menschen Aufsätze, von Krügen und Trinkgefäßen zu waschen; und desgleichen tut ihr viel.
9 And he said to them: Well do you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your own tradition.
Und er sprach zu ihnen: Wohl fein habt ihr Gottes Gebot aufgehoben, auf daß ihr eure Aufsätze haltet.
10 For Moses said: Honor your father and your mother; and, He that curses father or mother shall surely be put to death.
Denn Mose hat gesagt: Du sollst deinen Vater und deine Mutter ehren; und: Wer Vater oder Mutter flucht, der soll des Todes sterben:
11 But you say: If a man shall say to his father or mother, Whatever of mine might benefit you, is Corban, (which means, a gift, )
Ihr aber lehret: Wenn einer spricht zum Vater oder Mutter: Korban, das ist, wenn ich's opfere, so ist dir's viel nützer, der tut wohl.
12 you no longer suffer him to do any thing for his father or mother,
Und so laßt ihr hinfort ihn nichts tun seinem Vater oder seiner Mutter
13 making the word of God of no effect by your tradition, which you have delivered; and many things like these you do.
und hebet auf Gottes Wort durch eure Aufsätze, die ihr aufgesetzt habt; und desgleichen tut ihr viel.
14 And he called the whole multitude to him, and said to them: Hear me, all of you, and understand.
Und er rief zu sich das ganze Volk und sprach zu ihnen: Höret mir alle zu und vernehmet's!
15 There is nothing without that, by entering into a man, can defile him. But those things which come out of the man, defile him.
Es ist nichts außer dem Menschen, was ihn könnte gemein machen, so es in ihn gehet; sondern was von ihm ausgehet, das ist's, was den Menschen gemein macht.
16 If any one has ears to hear, let him hear.
Hat jemand Ohren zu hören, der höre!
17 And when he had gone into the house, away from the multitude, his disciples asked him about the dark saying.
Und da er von dem Volk ins Haus kam, fragten ihn seine Jünger um dieses Gleichnis
18 And he said to them: Are you also so void of understanding? Do you not perceive that nothing from without, by entering into a man, can defile him?
Und er sprach zu ihnen: Seid ihr denn auch so unverständig? Vernehmet ihr noch nicht, daß alles, was außen ist und in den Menschen gehet, das kann ihn nicht gemein machen?
19 Because it does not enter into his heart, but into his belly, and goes out into the sink, cleansing all food.
Denn es gehet nicht in sein Herz, sondern in den Bauch und gehet aus durch den natürlichen Gang, der alle Speise ausfeget.
20 And he said: What comes out of the man, is that which defiles the man.
Und er sprach: Was aus dem Menschen gehet, das macht den Menschen gemein.
21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed the purposes which are evil: adulteries, lewd actions, murders,
Denn von innen, aus dem Herzen der Menschen, gehen heraus böse Gedanken, Ehebruch, Hurerei, Mord,
22 thefts, schemes for extortion, wicked deeds, deceit, wantonness, an evil eye, calumny, haughtiness, impiety.
Dieberei, Geiz, Schalkheit; List, Unzucht, Schalksauge, Gotteslästerung, Hoffart, Unvernunft.
23 All these evil things come forth from within, and defile the man.
Alle diese bösen Stücke gehen von innen heraus und machen den Menschen gemein.
24 And he arose and departed thence to the borders of Tyre and Sidon. And he entered a house, and desired that no one should know it; but he could not escape notice.
Und er stund auf und ging von dannen in die Grenze von Tyrus und Sidon und ging in ein Haus und wollte es niemand wissen lassen und konnte doch nicht verborgen sein.
25 For a woman, whose little daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet;
Denn ein Weib hatte von ihm gehört, deren Töchterlein einen unsauberen Geist hatte. Und sie kam und fiel nieder zu seinen Füßen
26 (the woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation, ) and she besought him to cast the demon out of her daughter.
(und es war ein griechisch Weib aus Syrophönizien); und sie bat ihn, daß er den Teufel von ihrer Tochter austriebe.
27 But Jesus said to her: Let the children be satisfied first; for it is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.
Jesus aber sprach zu ihr: Laß zuvor die Kinder satt werden! Es ist nicht fein, daß man der Kinder Brot nehme und werfe es vor die Hunde.
28 She answered and said to him: Yes, Lord; and yet you can help me, for the little dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs.
Sie antwortete aber und sprach zu ihm: Ja, HERR; aber doch essen die Hündlein unter dem Tisch von den Brosamen der Kinder.
29 And he said to her: For this saying, go your way: the demon has gone out of your daughter.
Und er sprach zu ihr: Um des Worts willen so gehe hin; der Teufel ist von deiner Tochter ausgefahren.
30 And she went to her house, and found the demon gone out, and her daughter lying upon the bed.
Und sie ging hin in ihr Haus und fand, daß der Teufel war ausgefahren und die Tochter auf dem Bette liegend.
31 And again he went out from the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and came to the sea of Galilee, through the midst of the borders of Decapolis.
Und da er wieder ausging von den Grenzen Tyrus und Sidon, kam er an das Galiläische Meer, mitten unter die Grenze der zehn Städte.
32 And they brought to him a deaf man, who spoke with difficulty; and they besought him to lay his hand upon him.
Und sie brachten zu ihm einen Tauben, der stumm war; und sie baten ihn, daß er die Hand auf ihn legte.
33 And he took him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit, and touched his tongue;
Und er nahm ihn von dem Volk besonders und legte ihm die Finger in die Ohren und spützete und rührete seine Zunge.
34 and looking up to heaven, he sighed, and said to him: Ephphatha, which means, Be opened.
Und sah auf gen Himmel, seufzete und sprach zu ihm: Hephatha! das ist: Tu dich auf!
35 And immediately his ears were opened, and the band of his tongue was loosed, and he spoke plainly.
Und alsbald taten sich seine Ohren auf, und das Band seiner Zunge ward los und redete recht.
36 And he charged them to tell no one; but the more he charged them, the more earnestly they published it.
Und er verbot ihnen, sie sollten es niemand sagen. Je mehr er aber verbot, je mehr sie es ausbreiteten.
37 And they were amazed beyond measure, and said: He Las done all things well: he makes the deaf hear and the dumb speak.
Und verwunderten sich über die Maßen und sprachen: Er hat alles wohl gemacht: die Tauben macht er hörend und die Sprachlosen redend.
