< Mark 7 >

1 And there came together to him the Pharisees, and some of the scribes, who had come from Jerusalem:
Orduan bil citecen harengana Phariseuac, eta Ierusalemetic ethorri içan ciraden Scriba batzu.
2 and when they saw some of his disciples eating bread with common, that is, with unwashed hands:
Eta hec ikussi çutenean haren discipuluetaric batzuc escu communez (erran nahi baita, ikuci gabéz) iaten çutela oguia, arrangura citecen.
3 (for the Pharisees and all the Jews eat not, unless they wash their hands carefully, because they hold the tradition of the elders:
Ecen Phariseuéc eta Iudu guciéc, maiz escuac ikuciric baicen, eztute iaten, aitzinecoen ordenançác eduquiten dituztela.
4 and when they come from the market, they do not eat, unless they immerse themselves. And there are many other things, which they have received to hold, as the immersion of cups and pitchers and brazen vessels and beds: )
Eta merkatutic itzultzen, diradenean, ikuciac ezpadirade, eztuté iaten. Anhitz berce gauçaric-ere bada beguiratzeco hartu dutenic, nola baitirade goporrén ikutzeac, eta cubenac, eta cobrezco vncienac, eta ohenac.
5 then the Pharisees and the scribes asked him: Why do your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands?
Guero interrogatzen dute Phariseuéc eta Scribéc, Cergatic hire discipuluac eztabiltza aitzinecoen ordenancén araura, baina escuac ikuci gabe iaten dute oguia?
6 He answered and said to them: Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
Baina harc ihardesten çuela erran ciecén, Segurqui vngui prophetizatu vkan du Esaiasec çueçaz hypocritoz, scribatua den beçala, Populu hunec ezpainez ohoratzen nau, baina hayén bihotza vrrun da eneganic.
7 In vain do they worship me, teaching precepts, the commandments of men.
Baina alferretan cerbitzatzen naute, iracasten dituztela doctrinatzat guiçonén manamenduac.
8 For, neglecting the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men, the immersion of pitchers and cups; and many other things like these you do.
Ecen Iaincoaren manamendua vtziric, guiçonen ordenançá eduquiten duçue, hala nola, cubén eta goporrén ikutzeac: eta hunelaco berce gauçaric anhitz eguiten duçue.
9 And he said to them: Well do you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your own tradition.
Erraiten cerauen halaber, Vngui nombait iraizten duçue Iaincoaren manamendua, çuen ordenançá beguira deçacuençát.
10 For Moses said: Honor your father and your mother; and, He that curses father or mother shall surely be put to death.
11 But you say: If a man shall say to his father or mother, Whatever of mine might benefit you, is Corban, (which means, a gift, )
Baina çuec dioçue, Baldin norbeitec aitari edo amari baderró, Eneganic içanen den corbana (erran nahi baita donoa) probetchaturen çaic, hoguen gabe date hura.
12 you no longer suffer him to do any thing for his father or mother,
Eta eztuçue permettitzen harc deus guehiagoric eguin dieçón bere aitari edo bere amari:
13 making the word of God of no effect by your tradition, which you have delivered; and many things like these you do.
Ezdeusten duçuela Iaincoaren hitza ceuroc ordenatu duçuen ordenançáz: eta hunelaco berce gauçaric anhitz eguiten duçue.
14 And he called the whole multitude to him, and said to them: Hear me, all of you, and understand.
Guero deithuric populu gucia beregana, erran ciecén, Beha çaquizquidate guciac, eta adi eçaçue.
15 There is nothing without that, by entering into a man, can defile him. But those things which come out of the man, defile him.
Ezta deus guiçonaren campotic, hura baithan sartzen denic, hura satsu ahal deçaquenic: baina harenganic ilkiten diraden gauçác dirade, guiçona satsutzen dutenac.
16 If any one has ears to hear, let him hear.
Nehorc ençuteco beharriric badu ençun beça.
17 And when he had gone into the house, away from the multitude, his disciples asked him about the dark saying.
Guero etchean sarthu cenean populutic retiraturic interroga ceçaten bere discipuluéc comparationeaz.
18 And he said to them: Are you also so void of understanding? Do you not perceive that nothing from without, by entering into a man, can defile him?
Eta dioste, Horrela çuec-ere adimendu gabe çarete? Eztuçue aditzen, ecen campotic guiçona baithan sartzen diradenetaric deusec, ecin hura satsu deçaquela?
19 Because it does not enter into his heart, but into his belly, and goes out into the sink, cleansing all food.
Ecen ezta sartzen haren bihotzera, baina sabelera, eta ilkiten da campora retreitera, chahutzen dituela vianda guciac.
20 And he said: What comes out of the man, is that which defiles the man.
Ciosten bada, Guiçonaganic ilkiten dena da, guiçona satsutzen duena.
21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed the purposes which are evil: adulteries, lewd actions, murders,
Ecen barnetic, guiçonén bihotzetic ilkiten dirade pensamendu gaichtoac, adulterioac, paillardiçác, hiltzecác,
22 thefts, schemes for extortion, wicked deeds, deceit, wantonness, an evil eye, calumny, haughtiness, impiety.
Ohoinqueriác, auaritiác, gaichtaqueriác, enganioa, insolentia, bekaizteria, gaitzerraitea, superbiá, erhotassuna:
23 All these evil things come forth from within, and defile the man.
Gaichtaqueria hauc guciac barnetic ilkiten dirade, eta satsutzen dute guiçona.
24 And he arose and departed thence to the borders of Tyre and Sidon. And he entered a house, and desired that no one should know it; but he could not escape notice.
Eta handic iaiquiric ioan cedin Tyreco eta Sidongo comarquetarát: eta etche batetan sarthuric, etzuen nahi nehorc iaquin leçan: baina ecin estali içan da.
25 For a woman, whose little daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet;
Ecen harçaz ençunic emaztebatec, ceinen alabatchoac baitzuen spiritu satsua, ethorriric egotz ceçan bere buruä haren oinetara,
26 (the woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation, ) and she besought him to cast the demon out of her daughter.
(Eta emaztea cen Grec, nationez Syrophenissiana) eta othoitz eguiten ceraucan campora egotz leçan deabrua haren alabaganic.
27 But Jesus said to her: Let the children be satisfied first; for it is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.
Eta Iesusec erran cieçón, Vtzan behin haourrac ressasia ditecen: ecen eztun gauça bidezcoa haourrén oguiaren hartzea, eta chakurrey egoiztea.
28 She answered and said to him: Yes, Lord; and yet you can help me, for the little dogs under the table eat of the children’s crumbs.
Eta harc ihardets ceçan, eta erran cieçón, Hala duc Iauna: badaric-ere chakurréc iaten dié mahain azpian haourrén appurretaric.
29 And he said to her: For this saying, go your way: the demon has gone out of your daughter.
Orduan erran cieçón, Hitz horrengatic ohá, ilki dun deabrua hire alabaganic.
30 And she went to her house, and found the demon gone out, and her daughter lying upon the bed.
Eta ioan içan cenean bere etchera, eriden ceçan deabrua ilki cela, eta alabá ohe gainean cetzala.
31 And again he went out from the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and came to the sea of Galilee, through the midst of the borders of Decapolis.
Guero partituric Tyreco eta Sidongo quoarteretaric, ethor cedin Galileaco itsassora, Decapolisco comarquén arteaz.
32 And they brought to him a deaf man, who spoke with difficulty; and they besought him to lay his hand upon him.
Orduan presentatzen draucate gor nequez minço cembat, eta othoitz eguiten escua gainean eçar lieçón.
33 And he took him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit, and touched his tongue;
Eta hura gendetzetic appart harturic, eçar citzan bere erhiac haren beharrietan: eta thu eguinic, hunqui ceçan haren mihia.
34 and looking up to heaven, he sighed, and said to him: Ephphatha, which means, Be opened.
Guero cerurat beguiac altchaturic suspirio eguin ceçan, eta erran cieçón Ephphata, erran nahi baita, Irequi adi.
35 And immediately his ears were opened, and the band of his tongue was loosed, and he spoke plainly.
Eta bertan irequi citecen haren beharriac, eta lacha cedin haren mihico etchequidurá, eta minço cen claroqui.
36 And he charged them to tell no one; but the more he charged them, the more earnestly they published it.
Eta mana citzan nehori ezlerroten: baina cembat-ere harc defenda baitziecén, vnguiz guehiago publicatzen çutén.
37 And they were amazed beyond measure, and said: He Las done all things well: he makes the deaf hear and the dumb speak.
Eta guciz miraculu esten çutén, cioitela, Vngui gauça guciac eguin ditu: gorrey ençun eraciten draue, eta mutuac minça eraciten ditu.
