< Hebrews 5 >

1 For every high priest chosen from among men, is appointed for men, in things pertaining to God, that he may offer gifts and sacrifices for sins:
Taminaw thung dawk hoi rawi lah kaawm e vaihma kacuenaw pueng teh poehno poe hane hoi yon thuengnae hah taminaw han Cathut koe ka thueng hanelah rawi e lah ao.
2 being able to have compassion on the ignorant and erring, because he himself is beset with infirmity:
Ama roeroe hai thayounnae a tawn dawkvah, panuenae ka tawn hoeh e naw hoi lam kapayonnaw koe pahrennae a tawn thai.
3 and on account of this, he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to make offering for sins.
Hatdawkvah, taminaw e yon hoi amae yon hanlah thuengnae sak hanelah a panki.
4 And no one takes this honor to himself, but he that is called by God, as Aaron also was called.
Cathut ni Aron a kaw e patetlah kaw e tami laipalah, apinihai hote thaw bari kaawm e teh tawk thai awh hoeh.
5 So, also, the Christ did not take upon himself the honor of becoming a high priest: but he gave him this honor, who said to him, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee:
Hot patetvanlah, Khrih haiyah, Vaihma Kacue lah amahmawk ka kâtawm e nahoeh. Nang teh ka Ca lah na o. Sahnin vah nang teh na khe toe, telah ka tet e ni a tawm toe.
6 as he says also in another place, Thou art a priest forever, after the order of Melchisedec. (aiōn g165)
Cakathoung ni a dei e, nang teh Melkhizedek patetlah yungyoe e vaihma lah na o, tie patetlah ao. (aiōn g165)
7 In the days of his flesh, having offered up prayers and supplications, with strong crying and tears, to him that was able to save him from death, and having been heard with respect to that which he feared,
Khrih teh talai van ao navah, duenae koehoi rungngang thai kung koevah mitphi hoi puenghoi a hram laihoi ratoumnae a sak teh, takinae koehoi kâhatnae a hmu dawkvah,
8 although he was a Son, he yet learned obedience from the things which he suffered;
ahni teh Cathut Capa lah kaawm ei nakunghai patang khangnae lahoi lawkngainae a kamtu.
9 and, having been made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation to all that obey him, (aiōnios g166)
Hottelah kuepnae koe a pha hnukkhu, lawk ka thai niteh ka yuem e naw pueng yungyoe rungngangnae kapoekung lah ao. (aiōnios g166)
10 being called by God a high priest after the order of Melchisedec.
Melkhizedek patetlah Cathut ni Vaihma Kacue telah a kaw e lah ao.
11 Of him we have many things to say, and difficult to be explained, if we do say them, since you are slow in understanding.
Hotteh, Melkhizedek e kong dawk kaimouh ni dei hane moi ao, hatei, nangmouh teh hnâ na thai panuek awh hoeh dawkvah dei hane hroung a ru.
12 For though you ought to be teachers, considering the time, yet you have need that some one teach you again what are the first elements of the oracles of God; and you have become such as have need of milk, and not of strong food.
13 For every one that partakes of milk is unskillful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
Sanu tui dueng ka net e tami teh camo lah ao rah dawkvah, lannae hoi ka kâkuen e lawk panuethainae tawn hoeh.
14 But strong food belongs to those who are of mature age, who, by use, have their internal senses exercised to the discerning of both good and evil.
Bu kate tie teh, thoehawi kapek thainae a tawn teh, poukthainae, panuethainae lahoi cuenae koe lah kaawmnaw hane doeh.
