Hebrews 3

1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the apostle and high priest of our confession, Christ Jesus,

۱ بنابراین، ای برادران مقدس که در دعوت سماوی شریک هستید، در رسول و رئیس کهنه اعتراف ما یعنی عیسی تامل کنید،

2 who is faithful to him that appointed him, as Moses also was faithful in all his house.

۲ که نزداو که وی را معین فرمود امین بود، چنانکه موسی نیز در تمام خانه او بود.

3 For this man is counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who has builded the house, has more honor than the house.

۳ زیرا که این شخص لایق اکرامی بیشتر از موسی شمرده شد به آن اندازه‌ای که سازنده خانه را حرمت بیشتر از خانه است.

4 For every house is builded by some one; but he that built all things is God.

۴ زیرا هر خانه‌ای بدست کسی بنا می‌شود، لکن بانی همه خداست.

5 And Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, to bear testimony to those things which were to be spoken afterward;

۵ و موسی مثل خادم در تمام خانه او امین بود تا شهادت دهد بر چیزهایی که می‌بایست بعد گفته شود.

6 but Christ, as a Son over his own house; whose house we are, if we hold the confidence and the joy of our hope firm to the end.

۶ و اما مسیح مثل پسربر خانه او. و خانه او ما هستیم بشرطی که تا به انتهابه دلیری و فخر امید خود متمسک باشیم.

7 Wherefore, as the Holy Spirit says: To-day, if you will hear his voice,

۷ پس چنانکه روح‌القدس می‌گوید: «امروزاگر آواز او را بشنوید،

8 harden not your hearts, as in the bitter provocation, in the day of trial in the wilderness,

۸ دل خود را سخت مسازید، چنانکه در وقت جنبش دادن خشم او درروز امتحان در بیابان،

9 where your fathers tried me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.

۹ جایی که پدران شما مراامتحان و آزمایش کردند و اعمال مرا تا مدت چهل سال می‌دیدند.

10 Where fore, I was angry with that generation, and said, They do always err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:

۱۰ از این جهت به آن گروه خشم گرفته، گفتم ایشان پیوسته در دلهای خودگمراه هستند و راههای مرا نشناختند.

11 so that I swore in my anger, They shall not enter into my rest.

۱۱ تا درخشم خود قسم خوردم که به آرامی من داخل نخواهند شد.»

12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in apostatizing from the living God.

۱۲ ‌ای برادران، باحذر باشید مبادا در یکی ازشما دل شریر و بی‌ایمان باشد که از خدای حی مرتد شوید،

13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To-day, lest any of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.

۱۳ بلکه هر روزه همدیگر رانصیحت کنید مادامی که «امروز» خوانده می‌شود، مبادا احدی از شما به فریب گناه سخت دل گردد.

14 For we are partakers of the Christ, if we hold our begun confidence firm to the end;

۱۴ از آنرو که در مسیح شریک گشته‌ایم اگر به ابتدای اعتماد خود تا به انتهاسخت متمسک شویم.

15 while it is said, To-day, if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the bitter provocation.

۱۵ چونکه گفته می‌شود: «امروز اگر آواز او را بشنوید، دل خود را سخت مسازید، چنانکه در وقت جنبش دادن خشم او.»

16 For some, when they had heard, did bitterly provoke; yet, not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.

۱۶ پس که بودند که شنیدند و خشم او راجنبش دادند؟ آیا تمام آن گروه نبودند که بواسطه موسی از مصر بیرون آمدند؟

17 But with whom was he angry forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness?

۱۷ و به که تا مدت چهل سال خشمگین می‌بود؟ آیا نه به آن عاصیانی که بدنهای ایشان در صحرا ریخته شد؟

18 But to whom did he swear that they should not enter into his rest, but to those who believed not?

۱۸ و درباره که قسم خورد که به آرامی من داخل نخواهند شد، مگر آنانی را که اطاعت نکردند؟

19 And so we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

۱۹ پس دانستیم که به‌سبب بی‌ایمانی نتوانستندداخل شوند.
