< Hebrews 3 >
1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the apostle and high priest of our confession, Christ Jesus,
Chule hiti chun kasopi deitahte, Pathena nahitah jeh ule vana dinga kikou hoto chan neikhoma nahitah jeh uvin, kaphondoh u hiche Yeshua keihon Pathen thupole Thempu chungnunga kaneiyu hi phatechan geilun.
2 who is faithful to him that appointed him, as Moses also was faithful in all his house.
Ajeh iham itileh Mose chu Pathen insung pumpia akingansena a tahsan umtah ahi bang chun, Ama jong alhengdohpa Pathena dinga tahsan umtah ahi.
3 For this man is counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who has builded the house, has more honor than the house.
Hinlah, Insapa chu ainsah sanga vahchoina achan dinga kilomtah ahi banga Yeshua chu Mose sanga gamchenga loupina chang dinga lomtah ahi.
4 For every house is builded by some one; but he that built all things is God.
Ajeh iham itileh inkhat cheh hi asapa uma ahin, hinla ijakai hinsadohpa chu Pathen ahi.
5 And Moses indeed was faithful in all his house as a servant, to bear testimony to those things which were to be spoken afterward;
Mose chu sohkhat hina a Pathen in'a tahsan umtah hiya ahi. Ama natoh hi khonunga Pathen in ahin phondoh ding vetsahna hiya ahi.
6 but Christ, as a Son over his own house; whose house we are, if we hold the confidence and the joy of our hope firm to the end.
Hinlah Christa chu Chapa hina a Pathen insung pumpia kingansea ahi. Chule eiho Pathen insung hina a ilungngamnau le Christa a ikinepnauva chu ikison jom dingu ahi.
7 Wherefore, as the Holy Spirit says: To-day, if you will hear his voice,
Hijeh chun Lhagao Thengin aseiye, “Tunia nanghon a aw najah uva ahileh,
8 harden not your hearts, as in the bitter provocation, in the day of trial in the wilderness,
Israelten keima gamthip a eipatep uva, chua dou lungchang aken uva abol bangu chun nalungu tahsah hih un.
9 where your fathers tried me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.
Chupet chun napu napa teuvin kum som li jen thil kidang kanabol ho anamu jeng vangun, eipatep un chule kathohhatna eiveuvin.
10 Where fore, I was angry with that generation, and said, They do always err in their heart, and they have not known my ways:
Hitichun keima amaho chunga kana lunghang in, chule kaseiyin, ‘Alungthimu keiya konin akiheimang jingun ahi. Keiman kasei thua anung nom pouve.’
11 so that I swore in my anger, They shall not enter into my rest.
Hijeh a chu kalunghanna a kahahsel amaho keima choldona a lutlouhel ding ahiuve, kati ahi.”
12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in apostatizing from the living God.
Chuti ahileh sopi deitahte, Pathen hing jinga kona kiheimangna aso louna dingin chingtheiyun, lungthim gitlouna le tahsanlelna neihih un.
13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To-day, lest any of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
Tuni akiti thei petcha hin nangho khatle khat kihilchah uvin, hiti chun bolleu chun nangho lah a koima chonset a lhalut le Pathen dounaa lungtah naumlou dingu ahitai.
14 For we are partakers of the Christ, if we hold our begun confidence firm to the end;
Ajeh chu eiho achaina geiya Pathen songa ithoh uva itahsan masah pet uva banga idindet uva ahileh, Christa toh aneijousea chu chan neikhoma ihi dingu ahitai.
15 while it is said, To-day, if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the bitter provocation.
Akisei chu geldoh un, “Tunikhoa a aw najah uva ahileh, Israelten abol bangu chun nanghon nalungu tahsah cheh hih un.”
16 For some, when they had heard, did bitterly provoke; yet, not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.
Chule koi hiuvem amaho a aw ajah jeng vanguva Pathen douna a kimangchaho chu? Mosen Egypt a kona ahinpuidoh ho chu hilou ham?
17 But with whom was he angry forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness?
Chule koiham kum somli jen Pathen lung hansah ho chu? Amaho chu chonsetbol mipite, atahsau long damsa gamthip'a kijamden ho chu hilou ham?
18 But to whom did he swear that they should not enter into his rest, but to those who believed not?
Chule Pathen in kihahselna aneipet a kacholngahna a lut louhel dingu ahi atia chu koiho koma thu aseiyem? Asei ngailou miho koma hilou ham?
19 And so we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
Hiti chun amahon atahsan lou jeh uvin acholngahna ah aluttapouve ti imutauve.
