< Hebrews 12 >
1 Wherefore, since we also have so great a cloud of witnesses lying round about us, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin that so easily besets us, and let us run with patience the race that lies before us,
Naizvozvo nesuwo, zvatakakomberedzwa negore rezvapupu rakakura rikadai, ngatibvisei zvose zvinoremedza, nechivi chinongotinamatira nyore, uye ngatimhanyei nokutsungirira, nhangemutange yatakaisirwa.
2 looking to Jesus the author and finisher of the faith, who, for the joy that was set before him, endured the cross, despising the shame, and has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of God.
Tichitarira kuna Jesu muvambi nomukwanisi wokutenda kwedu; iye akatsunga pamuchinjikwa nokuda kwomufaro wakaiswa pamberi pake, akashora kunyadziswa kwawo, uye akandogara kurudyi rwechigaro choushe chaMwari.
3 For consider him that endured such opposition of sinners against himself, lest you become weary and despondent in your minds.
Cherechedzai iye akatsunga pakupikiswa kwakadai navatadzi, kuti imi murege kuneta nokupera simba mumwoyo menyu.
4 You have not yet resisted to blood, in your contest with sin;
Mukurwa kwenyu nechivi, hamusati madzivisa kusvikira pakubuda ropa.
5 and you have forgotten the exhortation which is addressed to you as to sons: My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are reproved by him.
Uye makanganwa shoko rokukurudzira rinotaura kwamuri savanakomana richiti: “Mwanakomana wangu, usazvidza kuranga kwaShe, uye usaora mwoyo kana uchirangwa naye,
6 For, whom the Lord loves, he chastens, and scourges every son that he receives.
nokuti Ishe anoranga uyo waanoda, uye anorova munhu wose waanogamuchira somwanakomana.”
7 If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons: for what son is there whose father chastens him not?
Tsungai pamatambudziko sokurangwa; Mwari anokubatai imi savanakomana. Nokuti ndoupiko mwanakomana asingarangwi nababa vake?
8 But if you are without chastisement, of which all are par takers, then are you bastards, and not sons.
Kana musingarangwi (vamwe vose vachirangwa), naizvozvo muri vana vasiri chaivo uye hamusi vanakomana vechokwadi.
9 So, then, we have had fathers of our flesh who corrected us, and we reverenced them; shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of our spirits, and live?
Uyezve, isu tose tina madzibaba edu epanyama anotiranga uye tinovakudza nokuda kwaizvozvo. Ko, tingazviisa zvikuru sei pasi paBaba vemweya yedu tigorarama!
10 For they, indeed, for a few days, chastened us as they thought it good; but he chastens us for our profit, that we may be partakers of his holiness.
Madzibaba edu aitiranga kwenguva duku sezvavaifunga kuti zvakafanira; asi Mwari anotiranga kuti zvitibatsire, kuti tigogoverwa utsvene hwake.
11 But no chastisement seems, at the time, to be a matter of joy, but of grief: yet afterward, it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who are exercised by it.
Hakuna kurangwa kunofadza panguva yacho, asi kuti kunorwadza. Asi, zvisinei, pashure kunobereka gohwo rokururama norugare kuna avo vakadzidziswa nako.
12 Wherefore, lift up the hands that hang down, and strengthen the feeble knees,
Naizvozvo, simbisai maoko akaneta namabvi anoshayiwa simba.
13 and make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned aside; but rather let it be restored to health.
“Gadzirirai tsoka dzenyu nzira dzakarurama,” kuitira kuti anokamhina arege kuva akaremara, asi kuti aporeswe.
14 Follow peace with all, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord;
Itai zvose zvamungagona kuti muve vatsvene; pasina utsvene hapana munhu achaona Ishe.
15 taking care, lest any one slight the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness spring up and trouble you, and by this many be defiled;
Chenjerai kuti kurege kuva nomunhu anorasikirwa nenyasha dzaMwari kuitira kuti mudzi wokuvava urege kumera kuti ugotambudza uye ugosvibisa vazhinji.
16 lest there be any lewd person, or profane man, as Esau, who, for a single meal, sold his birthright.
Chenjerai kuti kurege kuva nevanoita upombwe, kana nousina umwari saEsau, uyo akatengesa nhaka youdangwe hwake nokuda kwokudya kamwe chete.
17 For you know that afterward, when he desired to inherit the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no means to change his father’s mind, though he sought it earnestly with tears.
Nokuti sezvamunoziva kuti pashure akati oda kugamuchira nhaka yokuropafadzwa, akarambwa. Nokuti haana kutendeuka, kunyange zvake akatsvaka mukomborero uyo nemisodzi.
18 For you have not come to a mountain that may be touched, and that burns with fire, and to blackness and darkness and tempest,
Hamuna kumboswedera kugomo ringabatwa namaoko uye rinopfuta nomoto; kurima, kukusviba uye nokudutu guru;
19 and to the sound of a trumpet, and to the utterance of words, the hearing of which utterance caused the people to entreat that the word might not be spoken to them again;
kukurira kwehwamanda kana inzwi rinotaura mashoko zvokuti vaya vakarinzwa vakakumbirisa kuti varege kuudzwazve rimwe shoko,
20 for they could not endure that which was commanded, And if even a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned:
nokuti vakanga vasingagoni kutakura zvakanga zvarayirwa sokuti: “Kunyange kana mhuka ipi zvayo ikabata gomo, inofanira kutakwa namabwe.”
21 and so terrible was the sight, that even Moses said, I exceedingly fear and tremble.
Chakaonekwa chaityisa zvokuti Mozisi akati, “Ndiri kudedera nokutya.”
22 But you have come to Mount Zion, and the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels;
Asi mauya kuGomo reZioni, kuJerusarema rokudenga, guta raMwari mupenyu. Mauya kuzviuru nezviuru zvavatumwa vari paungano yomufaro,
23 to the general assembly and church of the first-born, who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the judge of all, and to the spirits of the just made perfect,
kukereke yamatangwe, vane mazita akanyorwa kudenga. Mauya kuna Mwari, mutongi wavanhu vose, kumweya yavanhu vakarurama vakakwaniswa,
24 and to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than the blood of Abel.
kuna Jesu murevereri wesungano itsva, uye kuropa rakasaswa rinotaura zviri nani pane raAbheri.
25 See that you reject not him that speaks: for if they escaped not who rejected that earthly man who gave the oracles, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that is from heaven,
Chenjerai kuti murege kuramba iye anotaura. Kana ivo vasina kupunyuka pavakaramba iye akavayambira panyika, ko, kuzoti isu kana tikatsauka kubva kwaari anotiyambira kubva kudenga?
26 whose voice then shook the earth; but now he has promised, saying, Yet once more I will shake not the earth only, but also the heaven.
Panguva iyo inzwi rake rakazungunusa nyika, asi zvino akativimbisa, achiti, “Ndichazungunusazve kamwe chete, kwete nyika chete, asi nedengawo.”
27 And this prophecy, Yet once more, signifies the removing of the things that are shaken, as of things that have been made, that the things which can not be shaken may remain.
Mashoko okuti, “Kamwe chetezve” anoratidza kubviswa kwezvinhu zvinogona kuzungunuswa, izvo zvinhu zvakasikwa, kuitira kuti zvisingagoni kuzungunuswa zvirambe zviripo.
28 Wherefore, as we receive a kingdom that can not be shaken, let us have gratitude, by which we may serve God acceptably, with reverence and godly fear:
Naizvozvo, zvatinogamuchira ushe husingagoni kuzungunuswa, ngativongei, uye tinamate Mwari zvinogamuchirika, tichimukudza uye tichimutya,
29 for our God is a consuming fire.
nokuti “Mwari wedu moto unoparadza.”
