Galatians 3
1 O thoughtless Galatians, who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ has been plainly set forth crucified?
vagalatia vajaasu, lwe liso liki ilihosi lino livananginie? pe uKilisite nakavonike hwene mpumuke pa maaso ghinu?
2 This only I wish to learn of you: Did you receive the Spirit by works of law, or by the hearing of faith?
une ninoghua kukagula ili kuhuma ku lyumue. pe mukamwupile uMhepo kumaghendele gha ndaghilo au kwa kwitikila sila sinomukupile?
3 Are you so thoughtless? After having begun in Spirit, do you make an end in flesh?
pe umue mulivajaasu ene ndiki? pe mukatengile nu Mhepo neka mumale nu m'bili?
4 Have you suffered so many things in vain? if, indeed, it be in vain.
pe mukapumwike mu nyinga vuvule, ndeve lweli sikale sa vuvule?
5 He that supplies to you the Spirit, and works mighty deeds among you, does he this by works of law or by the hearing of faith?
pe umwene juno amwumusie uMhepo kulyumue nakuvomba isinya ngufu kulyumue ivomba ku sa ndaghilo au kupulika palikimo nu lwitiko?
6 even as Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness.
UAbulahamu “alyale mwitiki kwa Nguluve akavalilue kuuva nyakyang'haani”
7 Know, therefore, that those who are of faith are the sons of Abraham.
mu lula lula mukagule kuuti, vala vano vikwitika ve vaanha va Abulahamu.
8 For the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached beforehand the gospel to Abraham, saying: In you shall all the nations be blessed.
ililembe likavonwile kuuti uNguluve ale ikuvavalila ikyang'haani avapanji kusila ja lwitiko. ilivangili likadalikilue kwa Abulahamu taasi: “kukilila uve iisi sooni sikaunyilue”.
9 So, then, those who are of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham.
neka pambele vala avanya lwitiko viise vafunyue palikimo nu Abulahamu, juno akale nu lwitiko.
10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that does not continue in all things written in the book of the law to do them.
vala vano vihuvila amaghendele gha ndaghilo vali mu lughuno. ulwakuva jilembilue, aghunilue umuunhu ghweni juno naikolana ni sooni sino silembilue mu kilembe kya ndaghilo, kukusivomba sooni.
11 But that no one is justified by law in the sight of God, is evident: for the just by faith shall live.
lino vwelu kuuti uNguluve naikum'balila ikyang'haani nambe jumo mu ndaghilo kwa kuva unya kyang'haani ikukala ku lwitiko”
12 The law, indeed, is not of faith; but he that does these things shall live by them.
indaghilo najihumilanila nu lwitiko, neke pe pano “juno ivomba isi mu ndaghilo ikukala mu ndaghilo.
13 Christ has bought us off from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us: (for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangs on a tree: )
uKilisite alyatupokile usue kuhuma ku lughuno lwa ndaghilo un'siki ghuno akavombikue kuuva lughuno vwimila jitu, ulwakuva jilembilue,” aghunilue umuunhu ghweni juno akovikue kukyanya ja mpiki.”
14 in order that the blessing of Abraham may come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we may receive the promise of the Spirit through the faith.
uvufumbue vulyale kuuti, ulufunyo luno lulyale kwa Abulahamu lwale lukwisa kuvapanji mwa Kilisite yeesu, neke kuuti twupile uluingo lwa Mhepo kukilila u lwitiko.
15 Brethren, I speak of things common among men: No one sets a covenant aside, or enjoins any thing additional after it is confirmed, though it be a man’s covenant.
vanyalukolo nijova mu lwa m'bili nambe pano ulwiting'ano lwa ki muunhu luvikilue kikangafu, nakwale juno iwesia kubenapula nambe kukwongelesia.
16 Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his offspring; he does not say: And to offsprings, as if he spoke of many; but as of one, And to your offspring, which is Christ.
lino ulufingo lukajovilue kwa Abulahamu na kukisina kyake. najijova kuuti, “kufisina” kusona vinga looli jumo mwene, “ku kisina kyako” juno ghwe Kilisite.
17 And this I affirm, that the covenant which had been before confirmed by God with respect to Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, could not annul so as to make the promise of no effect.
lino niti ndiki, indaghilo jino jikisie amaka 430 pambele, najivusia ulupuling'ahano lwa kunsana luno lukavikilue nu Nguluve.
18 For if the inheritance be by law, it is no longer by promise: but God bestowed it on Abraham by promise.
kwa kuva uvwimilisi vwale vukwisa ku sila ja ndaghilo, navwale vukwisa kange ku sila ja lufingo. neke uNguluve akavuhumisie vuvule kwa Abulahamu ku sila ja lufingo.
19 What, then, was the purpose of the law? It was added on account of transgressions, (till the offspring should come, to whom the promise was made, ) having been appointed through the service of angels, in the hand of a mediator.
kiki lino indaghilo jikahumisivue? jikongelesivue kuhumila mu vuhosi, kuhanga umuholua ghwa Abulahamu ise ku vala vano akafingilue, indaghilo jikavikilue ku kulila avanyMhola ku luvoko lwa juno isambania.
20 Now, a mediator for one is impossible; but God is one.
lino juno isambania ifumbua kukila umuunhu jumo, looli uNguluve ghwe jumo mwene.
21 Is the law, then, against the promises of God? It can not be. For if a law had been given which could have given life, surely righteousness would have been by law.
pe lino indaghilo najijova isa mu lufingo lwa Nguluve? na kwekuuti! ulwakuva nave indaghilo jino jikamumisivue jilyale ni ngufu isa kuleta uvwumi, ikyang'ani jale jipatikana ku ndaghilo.
22 But the scripture has shut up all under sin, that the promise by faith in Christ Jesus may be given to those who believe.
neke peepano ililembe lidindiile sooni mu muvuhosi. uNguluve alyavombile ndiki neke kuuti ulufungo lwake ulwa kutupoka usue ku lwitiko mwa Kilisite Yesu luwesie kupatikana ku vala vano vikumwitika.
23 But before the faith came, we were kept under law, being shut up to the faith which was to be revealed.
neke ye lukyale kumema ulwitiko lwa Kilisite, tulyadindilue na kuva pasi pa ndaghilo kuhanga lwise ulusyetulilo lwa lwitiko.
24 So, then, the law was our pedagogue that led us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
pe lino indaghilo jilyale ghwe mulongosi ghwitu kuhanga uKilisite pano akisilse, neke kuuti, tuvalilue ikyang'ani ku lwitiko.
25 But since the faith has come, we are no longer under a pedagogue:
lino ulwakuva ulwitiko lwisile natuli mwa mulolelesi kange.
26 for you are all the sons of God, by faith in Christ Jesus:
ulwakuva umue mweni muli vaanha va Nguluve kukilila ulwitiko mwa Kilisite Yesu.
27 for as many of you as have been immersed into Christ, have put on Christ.
mwevoni mwevano mukofughue mwa Kilisite munfwalile u Kilisite,
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bondman nor freeman, there is neither male nor female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
namkwale umuYahudi nambe umuYunani, umbombi nambe juno na m'bombi, umughosi nambe un'dala, ulwakuva mweni mulivamo mwa Kilisite Yesu.
29 And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s posterity, and heirs according to the promise.
nave muli va Kilisite pe nuvuholuo lwa Abulamamu, vapelua kuvutavike vwa lufingo.
