Acts 3
1 Now Peter and John were going up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, which was the ninth hour.
௧ஒருநாள், ஜெபவேளையாகிய பிற்பகல் மூன்று மணியளவில் பேதுருவும் யோவானும் ஆலயத்திற்குப் போனார்கள்.
2 And a certain man, lame from his mother’s womb, was carried along, whom they laid daily at that gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, that he might ask charity of those who were going into the temple.
௨அப்பொழுது பிறவியிலேயே சப்பாணியாகப் பிறந்த ஒரு மனிதனை சுமந்துகொண்டுவந்தார்கள்; ஆலயத்திற்குள் வருகிறவர்களிடத்தில் பிச்சைகேட்கும்படி, அனுதினமும் அவனை அலங்காரவாசல் என்னப்பட்ட தேவாலய வாசலருகில் வைப்பார்கள்.
3 This man, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked charity.
௩அவன் ஆலயத்திற்குள் பிரவேசிக்கிற பேதுருவையும், யோவானையும் பார்த்து பிச்சை கேட்டான்.
4 But Peter, fixing his eyes on him with John, said: Look on us.
௪பேதுருவும், யோவானும் அவனை உற்றுப்பார்த்து: எங்களை நோக்கிப்பார் என்றார்கள்.
5 And he gave heed to them, expecting to receive something from them.
௫அவன் அவர்களிடத்தில் ஏதாவது கிடைக்கும் என்று நினைத்து, அவர்களை நோக்கிப்பார்த்தான்.
6 But Peter said: Silver and gold I have none: but what I have, this I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, arise and walk.
௬அப்பொழுது பேதுரு: வெள்ளியும் பொன்னும் என்னிடத்தில் இல்லை; என்னிடத்தில் இருப்பதை உனக்குத் தருகிறேன்; நசரேயனாகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவின் நாமத்தினாலே நீ எழுந்து நட என்று சொல்லி,
7 And he took him by his right hand and raised him up: and immediately his feet and ankles received strength.
௭தன் வலது கையினால் அவனைப் பிடித்துத் தூக்கிவிட்டான்; உடனே அவனுடைய கால்களும் கணுக்களும் பெலன் கொண்டது.
8 And leaping up, he stood and walked, and went with them into the temple, walking and leaping and praising God.
௮அவன் குதித்து, எழுந்து, நின்று, நடந்தான்; நடந்து, குதித்து, தேவனைப் புகழ்ந்துகொண்டு, அவர்களோடு தேவாலயத்திற்குள் போனான்.
9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God;
௯அவன் நடக்கிறதையும், தேவனைப் புகழ்கிறதையும், மக்களெல்லோரும் கண்டு:
10 and they recognized him, that it was he that had sat for charity at the Beautiful gate of the temple. And they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
௧0ஆலயத்தின் அலங்கார வாசலருகில் பிச்சைகேட்க உட்கார்ந்திருந்தவன் இவன்தான் என்று அறிந்து, அவனுக்கு நடந்ததைக்குறித்து மிகவும் ஆச்சரியப்பட்டு பிரமித்தார்கள்.
11 And while he was holding to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch called Solomon’s, greatly astonished.
௧௧சுகமாக்கப்பட்ட சப்பாணி பேதுரு மற்றும் யோவானோடு இருக்கும்போது, மக்களெல்லோரும் திகைத்து, சாலொமோன் மண்டபம் என்னும் மண்டபத்திலே அவர்களிடத்திற்கு ஓடிவந்தார்கள்.
12 But when Peter saw it, he answered the people: Men of Israel, why are you astonished at this? or, why do you look so earnestly on us, as if by our own power or godliness we had caused this man to walk?
௧௨பேதுரு மக்களைப் பார்த்து: இஸ்ரவேலர்களே, இதைக்குறித்து நீங்கள் ஆச்சரியப்படுகிறதென்ன? நாங்கள் எங்களுடைய சுயசக்தியினாலாவது, சுயபக்தியினாலாவது, இவனை நடக்க செய்தோமென்று நீங்கள் எங்களை உற்றுப்பார்க்கிறதென்ன?
13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his Son Jesus, whom you delivered up, and whom you rejected in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to release him.
௧௩ஆபிரகாம் ஈசாக்கு யாக்கோபு என்பவர்களுடைய தேவனாகிய நம்முடைய பிதாக்களின் தேவன் தம்முடைய குமாரனாகிய இயேசுவை மகிமைப்படுத்தினார்; அவரை நீங்கள் ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தீர்கள்; பிலாத்து அவரை விடுதலை செய்ய தீர்மானித்தபோது, அவனுக்கு முன்பாக அவரை மறுதலித்தீர்கள்.
14 But you rejected the Holy and Just One, and demanded that a murderer should be given to you;
௧௪பரிசுத்தமும் நீதியுமுள்ளவரை நீங்கள் மறுதலித்து, கொலைபாதகனை உங்களுக்காக விடுதலை செய்யவேண்டுமென்று கேட்டு,
15 and you slew the Author of life, whom God has raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses.
௧௫ஜீவாதிபதியாகிய இயேசுவைக் கொலைசெய்தீர்கள்; தேவன் அவரை மரித்தோரிலிருந்து உயிரோடு எழுப்பினார்; அதற்கு நாங்கள் சாட்சிகளாக இருக்கிறோம்.
16 And his name, by faith in his name, has made this man strong whom you see and know; even the faith which is by him, has given him this entire soundness in the presence of you all.
௧௬அவருடைய நாமத்தில் வைத்திருக்கும் விசுவாசத்தினாலே அவருடைய நாமமே உங்களுக்கு அறிமுகமான இவனை பெலப்படுத்தினது; அவரால் உண்டாகிய நம்பிக்கை உங்களெல்லோருக்கும் முன்பாக, இவனுடைய முழுசரீரத்திற்கும் இந்த சுகத்தைக் கொடுத்தது.
17 And now, brethren, I know that through ignorance you did this, as did also your rulers.
௧௭சகோதரர்களே நீங்களும் உங்களுடைய அதிகாரிகளும் அறியாமையினாலே இதைச் செய்தீர்களென்று எனக்குத் தெரியும்
18 But the things which God foretold by the mouth of all his prophets, that the Christ should suffer, he has thus fulfilled.
௧௮கிறிஸ்து பாடுபடவேண்டுமென்று தேவன் தம்முடைய தீர்க்கதரிசிகளெல்லோருடைய வார்த்தையினாலும் முன்னமே சொன்னவைகளை இவ்விதமாக நிறைவேற்றினார்.
19 Repent, therefore, and turn, in order that your sins may be blotted out, so that seasons of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,
௧௯ஆகவே, கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதானத்திலிருந்து இளைப்பாறுதலின் நாட்கள் வரும்படிக்கும், முன்பே குறிக்கப்பட்ட இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவை அவர் உங்களிடம் அனுப்பவும்,
20 and that he may send Jesus Christ, who was destined for you;
௨0உங்களுடைய குற்றங்கள் மன்னிக்கப்படவும் நீங்கள் மனந்திரும்பி குணப்படுங்கள்.
21 whom heaven must retain, till the time for restoring all things that God has spoken by the mouth of his holy prophets of ancient times. (aiōn g165)
௨௧உலகம் உண்டானதுமுதல் தேவன் தம்முடைய பரிசுத்த தீர்க்கதரிசிகள் எல்லோருடைய வார்த்தையினாலும் முன்னமே சொன்ன எல்லாம் நிறைவேறிமுடியும் நாட்கள் வரும்வரை அவர் பரலோகத்தில் இருக்கவேண்டும். (aiōn g165)
22 For Moses said to the fathers, A prophet like me shall the Lord your God raise up for you from among your brethren; him shall you hear in all things that he shall say to you.
௨௨மோசே முற்பிதாக்களைப்பார்த்து: உங்களுடைய தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் என்னைப்போல ஒரு தீர்க்கதரிசியை உங்களுக்காக உங்களுடைய சகோதரர்களிலிருந்து எழும்பப்பண்ணுவார்; அவர் உங்களுக்குச் சொல்லும் எல்லாவற்றிலும் அவருக்குச் செவிகொடுங்கள்.
23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul that will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.
௨௩அந்தத் தீர்க்கதரிசியின் சொல்லைக் கேளாதவன் எவனோ, அவன் மக்கள் மத்தியில் இல்லாதபடிக்கு அழிக்கப்படுவான் என்றான்.
24 And all the prophets, from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have also foretold these days.
௨௪சாமுவேல் முதற்கொண்டு, எத்தனைபேர் தீர்க்கதரிசனம் சொன்னார்களோ, அத்தனைபேரும் இந்த நாட்களை முன்னமே அறிவித்தார்கள்.
25 You are the sons of the prophets, and of the covenant that God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, And in your offspring shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
௨௫நீங்கள் அந்தத் தீர்க்கதரிசிகளுக்குப் பிள்ளைகளாக இருக்கிறீர்கள்; உன் சந்ததியினாலே பூமியிலுள்ள வம்சங்களெல்லாம் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்படும் என்று தேவன் ஆபிரகாமுக்குச் சொல்லி, நம்முடைய முன்னோர்களோடு செய்த உடன்படிக்கைக்கும் பிள்ளைகளாக இருக்கிறீர்கள்.
26 To you first, God, having raised up his Son Jesus, has sent him to bless you, in turning every one of you away from his iniquities.
௨௬அவர் உங்களெல்லோரையும் உங்களுடைய பொல்லாங்குகளிலிருந்து விலக்கி, உங்களை ஆசீர்வதிக்கும்படி தேவன் தம்முடைய குமாரனாகிய இயேசுவை எழுப்பி, முதலாவது உங்களிடத்திற்கே அவரை அனுப்பினார் என்றான்.
