1 Now Peter and John were going up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, which was the ninth hour.
Tsiku lina Petro ndi Yohane ankapita ku Nyumba ya Mulungu kukapemphera nthawi ya 3 koloko masana.
2 And a certain man, lame from his mother’s womb, was carried along, whom they laid daily at that gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, that he might ask charity of those who were going into the temple.
Ndipo munthu wolumala chibadwire ankanyamulidwa tsiku ndi tsiku kukayikidwa pa khomo la Nyumbayo lotchedwa Khomo Lokongola kuti azikapempha amene amalowa ku bwalo la Nyumbayo.
3 This man, seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked charity.
Ataona Petro ndi Yohane ali pafupi kulowa anawapempha ndalama.
4 But Peter, fixing his eyes on him with John, said: Look on us.
Iwo anamuyangʼanitsitsa iye. Kenaka Petro anati, “Tiyangʼane!”
5 And he gave heed to them, expecting to receive something from them.
Munthuyo anawayangʼanitsitsa kuyembekezera kuti alandira kanthu kuchokera kwa iwo.
6 But Peter said: Silver and gold I have none: but what I have, this I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, arise and walk.
Petro anati kwa iye, “Ine ndilibe siliva kapena golide, koma chimene ndili nacho ndikupatsa. Mʼdzina la Yesu Khristu wa ku Nazareti, yenda.”
7 And he took him by his right hand and raised him up: and immediately his feet and ankles received strength.
Ndipo anamugwira dzanja lamanja, namuthandiza kuti ayimirire ndipo nthawi yomweyo mapazi ake ndi akakolo ake analimba.
8 And leaping up, he stood and walked, and went with them into the temple, walking and leaping and praising God.
Iye analumpha ndi kuyamba kuyenda. Kenaka analowa nawo pamodzi mʼbwalo la Nyumba ya Mulungu, akuyenda ndi kulumpha ndiponso kuyamika Mulungu.
9 And all the people saw him walking and praising God;
Anthu onse atamuona akuyenda ndiponso kuyamika Mulungu,
10 and they recognized him, that it was he that had sat for charity at the Beautiful gate of the temple. And they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.
anamuzindikira kuti ndi yemwe uja ankakhala pa khomo la Nyumbayo lotchedwa Khomo Lokongola, ndipo anazizwa ndi kudabwa ndi zimene zinamuchitikira.
11 And while he was holding to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them in the porch called Solomon’s, greatly astonished.
Wopempha uja akuyenda pamodzi ndi Petro ndi Yohane, anthu onse anadabwa ndipo anawathamangira iwo kumalo wotchedwa Khonde la Solomoni.
12 But when Peter saw it, he answered the people: Men of Israel, why are you astonished at this? or, why do you look so earnestly on us, as if by our own power or godliness we had caused this man to walk?
Petro ataona zimenezi anawawuza kuti, “Inu Aisraeli, chifukwa chiyani mukudabwa ndi zimene zachitikazi? Bwanji mukuyangʼana ife ngati kuti tamuyendetsa munthuyu ndi mphamvu yathu kapena chifukwa cha kupembedza kwathu?
13 The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his Son Jesus, whom you delivered up, and whom you rejected in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to release him.
Mulungu wa Abrahamu, Isake ndi Yakobo, Mulungu wa makolo athu, wamulemekeza mtumiki wake Yesu. Amene inu munamukana pamaso pa Pilato ndi kumupereka Iye kuti aphedwe, ngakhale kuti Pilato anafuna kuti amumasule.
14 But you rejected the Holy and Just One, and demanded that a murderer should be given to you;
Koma inu munamukana Woyera ndi Wolungamayo ndipo munapempha kuti akumasulireni munthu wakupha anthu.
15 and you slew the Author of life, whom God has raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses.
Inu munapha mwini moyo, koma Mulungu anamuukitsa kwa akufa. Ife ndife mboni za zimenezi.
16 And his name, by faith in his name, has made this man strong whom you see and know; even the faith which is by him, has given him this entire soundness in the presence of you all.
Mwachikhulupiriro mʼdzina la Yesu, munthu uyu amene mukumuona ndi kumudziwa analimbikitsidwa. Mʼdzina la Yesu ndi chikhulupiriro chimene chili mwa iye chamuchiritsa kwathunthu, monga nonse mukuona.
17 And now, brethren, I know that through ignorance you did this, as did also your rulers.
“Tsopano abale ine ndikudziwa kuti inu munachita zimenezi mosadziwa, monga momwenso anachitira atsogoleri anu.
18 But the things which God foretold by the mouth of all his prophets, that the Christ should suffer, he has thus fulfilled.
Koma umu ndi mmene Mulungu anakwaniritsira zimene zinanenedwa kale ndi aneneri onse, kuti Khristu adzamva zowawa.
19 Repent, therefore, and turn, in order that your sins may be blotted out, so that seasons of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord,
Chifukwa chake, lapani, bwererani kwa Mulungu, kuti machimo anu afafanizidwe, kuti nthawi ya kutsitsimuka ibwere kuchokera kwa Ambuye,
20 and that he may send Jesus Christ, who was destined for you;
ndi kuti Iye atumize Yesu Khristu amene anasankhidwa chifukwa cha inu.
21 whom heaven must retain, till the time for restoring all things that God has spoken by the mouth of his holy prophets of ancient times. (aiōn g165)
Iye ayenera kukhalabe kumwamba mpaka nthawi ya kukonzanso zinthu zonse monga Mulungu analonjeza kale kudzera mwa aneneri ake oyera mtima. (aiōn g165)
22 For Moses said to the fathers, A prophet like me shall the Lord your God raise up for you from among your brethren; him shall you hear in all things that he shall say to you.
Pakuti Mose anati, ‘Ambuye Mulungu wanu adzakuukitsirani mneneri monga ine kuchokera pakati pa anthu anu; mumvere zonse zimene iye akuwuzeni.
23 And it shall come to pass, that every soul that will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.
Aliyense amene sadzamvera mawu a mneneriyo, adzayenera kuchotsedwa pakati pa abale ake.’
24 And all the prophets, from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have also foretold these days.
“Ndipo aneneri onse ambiri amene anayankhula kuyambira Samueli, ananeneratu za masiku ano.
25 You are the sons of the prophets, and of the covenant that God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, And in your offspring shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
Inu ndinu ana a aneneri ndiponso ana apangano limene Mulungu anachita ndi makolo anu. Iye anati kwa Abrahamu, ‘Anthu onse a pa dziko lapansi adzadalitsika kudzera mwa zidzukulu zako.’
26 To you first, God, having raised up his Son Jesus, has sent him to bless you, in turning every one of you away from his iniquities.
Pamene Mulungu anaukitsa mtumiki wake, anamutuma Iye poyamba kwa inu kuti akudalitseni pobweza aliyense wa inu ku zoyipa zake.”
