< 1 Peter 5 >

1 The elders that are among you I exhort, who am a fellow-elder, and a witness of the sufferings of the Christ, and a sharer in the glory that is to be revealed.
Uzinu wuza ananu anyimo ashime tize tu dungara, mi sa inzi u henu ushi unanu, unu bezi uzitu uvana Asere, mi unu kem u kalum uni antimo ani nonzo sa abezi.
2 Act as shepherds to the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight, not by compulsion, but willingly; not for the sake of sordid gain, but from readiness of mind:
Barki anime izinu dungara ushi ananu, hira nigo na Asere sa nizi nan sitarsi in we, azo ini kara ba barki sa inyara wuza ani me, barki u wuza Asere, tarsa ni we, azo unu kem imumu gbardang, barki uhen iriba.
3 neither as being lords over God’s possessions, but being examples to the flock.
Kati icukuno anu ahira anu sa wa atari tishime, cukuno ni imumu manza ahira anigome.
4 And when the chief shepherd shall appear, you shall receive the crown of glory that fades not away.
Uganiya sa adi bezi ugomo utarsa ina nu, udi kabi ni ere ni tigomo nani nonzo ni mazu.
5 Likewise, you younger, be in subjection to the older: do you all indeed be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resists the proud, but gives grace to the lowly.
Ane ani, shi inyani kunna ni tize ta nanu, vat ushi itirzizi mu iriba in kadure, iwuzi ni nonzo na cece, barki Asere ada kunna me urunta unu heze unice ba barki ma wuza ana kadure imumu iriri.
6 Humble yourselves, therefore, under the strong hand of God, that he may exalt you in due season.
7 Cast all your cares on him, for he cares for you.
Nyani me vat mu riba mu me, barki ma tarsa in shi.
8 Be sober, be watchful: for your adversary, the devil, like a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour.
Wunani shew, icukuno unu rusa, unu iriba ibit nan shi, bibeu bur kasi udaru ukise anija ma zinu kese, unyara ude sa madi ri.
9 Being firm in the faith, resist him, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren who are in the world.
Wuza ni ere nan me, i wuzi nikara anyimo akadure kashi me, irusa aroni ishina ishi me sa wa ra anyo unee uzinu tarza ini rer nigino me kasi shime.
10 But may the God of all grace, who has called us to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, confirm you. (aiōnios g166)
Umara uzito ushi me uganiya cin, Asere unu imumu iriri izatu mara, desa ma titi shi uhana kura ameme anyimo avana Asere, madi maza shi, ma nuki shi, ma kuri ma nyizi shi tize. (aiōnios g166)
11 To him be glory and dominion from age to age. Amen. (aiōn g165)
Ninonzo ni cukuno ahira ameme uhana umara unee, icukuno anime. (aiōn g165)
12 By Sylvanus, a faithful brother to you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of God in which you stand.
Ma hem in Sila uhenu ukadure mani, makuri ma nyettike shini cin atari tumeme. Izunu gwara ushi in kuri ibuki shi unu guna imumu me sa ma nyettike iriri ya Asere ini ikadure nukina ni anyimo a ini.
13 The church in Babylon, elected together with you, salutes you, and so does Marcus my son.
Me uneh me sa mara ubabila azauka me na haru, ma iso shi nan Markus vana um, ma iso shi.
14 Salute one another with a kiss of love. Peace be with you all that are in Christ Jesus.
Isizo ni ace unu gindiro uhem. Imumu utoto iriba ahira ashi vat ushi sa ira anyimo avana Asere.
