Psalms 84
1 For the Chief Musician; set to the Gittith. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. How amiable are thy tabernacles, O Jehovah of hosts!
੧ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਵਜਾਉਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਗਿਤੀਥ ਰਾਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਰਹ ਵੰਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਭਜਨ। ਹੇ ਸੈਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਤੇਰੇ ਡੇਰੇ ਕਿਹੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਰੱਤੇ ਹਨ!
2 My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of Jehovah; My heart and my flesh cry out unto the living God.
੨ਮੇਰਾ ਜੀਅ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦੀਆਂ ਦਰਗਾਹਾਂ ਲਈ ਤਰਸਦਾ ਸਗੋਂ ਖੁੱਸਦਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਮੇਰਾ ਤਨ-ਮਨ ਜਿਉਂਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਲਈ ਜੈਕਾਰਾ ਗਜਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ!
3 Yea, the sparrow hath found her a house, And the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, Even thine altars, O Jehovah of hosts, My King, and my God.
੩ਹੇ ਸੈਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਮੇਰੇ ਪਾਤਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਤੇਰੀਆਂ ਜਗਵੇਦੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਿੜ੍ਹੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਈ ਘਰ ਅਤੇ ਬਾਲਕਟਾਰੇ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਬੋਟਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਰੱਖਣ ਲਈ ਆਲ੍ਹਣਾ ਪਾਇਆ ਹੈ।
4 Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: They will be still praising thee. (Selah)
੪ਧੰਨ ਓਹ ਹਨ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਦੇ ਹਨ, ਓਹ ਨਿੱਤ ਤੇਰੀ ਉਸਤਤ ਕਰਨਗੇ! ਸਲਹ।
5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; In whose heart are the highways [to Zion].
੫ਧੰਨ ਓਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਹੈ ਜਿਹ ਦਾ ਬਲ ਤੇਰੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਹੈ, ਜਿਹ ਦੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੇਰੇ ਮਾਰਗ ਹਨ!
6 Passing through the valley of Weeping they make it a place of springs; Yea, the early rain covereth it with blessings.
੬ਓਹ ਬਾਕਾ ਦੀ ਵਾਦੀ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੀ ਲੰਘਦਿਆਂ, ਉੱਥੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਚਸ਼ਮੇ ਵਗਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਸਗੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਮੀਂਹ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਕਤਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਢੱਕ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
7 They go from strength to strength; Every one of them appeareth before God in Zion.
੭ਓਹ ਬਲ ਤੇ ਬਲ ਪਾਉਂਦੇ ਚਲੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਹਰੇਕ ਸੀਯੋਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਿਖਾਈ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।
8 O Jehovah God of hosts, hear my prayer; Give ear, O God of Jacob. (Selah)
੮ਹੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਸੈਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਮੇਰੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਸੁਣ, ਹੇ ਯਾਕੂਬ ਦੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਆਪਣਾ ਕੰਨ ਲਾ! ਸਲਹ।
9 Behold, O God our shield, And look upon the face of thine anointed.
੯ਹੇ ਸਾਡੀ ਢਾਲ਼, ਵੇਖ, ਹੇ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ, ਆਪਣੇ ਮਸੀਹ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖੜੇ ਵੱਲ ਧਿਆਨ ਕਰ!
10 For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, Than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.
੧੦ਤੇਰੀ ਦਰਗਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਂ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਚੰਗਾ ਹੈ, ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੇ ਭਵਨ ਦਾ ਰਾਖ਼ਾ ਬਣਨਾ ਦੁਸ਼ਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਤੰਬੂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਸਣ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਪਸੰਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
11 For Jehovah God is a sun and a shield: Jehovah will give grace and glory; No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
੧੧ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਇੱਕ ਸੂਰਜ ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਢਾਲ਼ ਹੈ, ਯਹੋਵਾਹ ਦਯਾ ਅਤੇ ਤੇਜ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ, ਉਹ ਸਿਧਿਆਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੱਲਣ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਚੰਗੀ ਚੀਜ਼ ਨਹੀਂ ਰੋਕੇਗਾ।
12 O Jehovah of hosts, Blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.
੧੨ਹੇ ਸੈਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਯਹੋਵਾਹ, ਧੰਨ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਆਦਮੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੇਰੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈ!
