Psalms 82

1 A Psalm of Asaph. God standeth in the congregation of God; He judgeth among the gods.

Un salmo de Asaf. Dios preside la gran asamblea. Juzga entre los dioses.

2 How long will ye judge unjustly, And respect the persons of the wicked? (Selah)

“Hasta cuándo juzgarás injustamente, y mostrar parcialidad a los malvados?” (Selah)

3 Judge the poor and fatherless: Do justice to the afflicted and destitute.

“Defiende al débil, al pobre y al huérfano. Mantener los derechos de los pobres y oprimidos.

4 Rescue the poor and needy: Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.

Rescata a los débiles y necesitados. Líbrales de la mano de los malvados”.

5 They know not, neither do they understand; They walk to and fro in darkness: All the foundations of the earth are shaken.

No saben, ni entienden. Caminan de un lado a otro en la oscuridad. Todos los cimientos de la tierra se tambalean.

6 I said, Ye are gods, And all of you sons of the Most High.

Dije: “Ustedes son dioses, todos vosotros sois hijos del Altísimo.

7 Nevertheless ye shall die like men, And fall like one of the princes.

Sin embargo, moriréis como hombres, y caer como uno de los gobernantes”.

8 Arise, O God, judge the earth; For thou shalt inherit all the nations.

Levántate, Dios, juzga la tierra, porque tú heredas todas las naciones.
