Psalms 68
1 For the Chief Musician; A Psalm of David, a Song. Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered; Let them also that hate him flee before him.
Levántese Dios, espárzanse sus enemigos: y huyan los que le aborrecen delante de él.
2 As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: As wax melteth before the fire, So let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
Como es lanzado el humo, los lanzarás: como se derrite la cera delante del fuego, así perecerán los impíos delante de Dios.
3 But let the righteous be glad; let them exult before God: Yea, let them rejoice with gladness.
Mas los justos se alegrarán: regocijarse han delante de Dios, y saltarán de alegría.
4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: Cast up a highway for him that rideth through the deserts; His name is Jehovah; and exult ye before him.
Cantád a Dios, cantád salmos a su nombre: ensalzád al que cabalga sobre los cielos en Jah su nombre: y alegráos delante de él.
5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, Is God in his holy habitation.
Padre de huérfanos, y defensor de viudas, Dios en la morada de su santuario.
6 God setteth the solitary in families: He bringeth out the prisoners into prosperity; But the rebellious dwell in a parched land.
El Dios que hace habitar los solos en casa: que saca los presos en grillos; mas los rebeldes habitan en sequedad.
7 O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, When thou didst march through the wilderness; (Selah)
O! Dios, cuando tú saliste delante de tu pueblo, cuando anduviste por el desierto, (Selah)
8 The earth trembled, The heavens also dropped [rain] at the presence of God: Yon Sinai [trembled] at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
La tierra tembló; también los cielos destilaron delante de Dios; aquel Sinaí tembló delante de Dios, del Dios de Israel.
9 Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, Thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.
Lluvia de voluntades esparciste, o! Dios, a tu heredad; y cuando se cansó, tú la recreaste.
10 Thy congregation dwelt therein: Thou, O God, didst prepare of thy goodness for the poor.
Tu compañía estaba en ella; por tu bondad acomodabas al pobre, o! Dios.
11 The Lord giveth the word: The women that publish the tidings are a great host.
El Señor daba palabra: de las evangelizantes había ejército grande.
12 Kings of armies flee, they flee; And she that tarrieth at home divideth the spoil.
Reyes de ejércitos huían, huían: y la moradora de la casa partía despojos.
13 When ye lie among the sheepfolds, [It is as] the wings of a dove covered with silver, And her pinions with yellow gold.
Si fuereis echados entre las ollas, seréis como las alas de la paloma cubierta de plata, y sus plumas con amarillez de oro.
14 When the Almighty scattered kings therein, [It was as when] it snoweth in Zalmon.
Cuando esparcía el Omnipotente los reyes en ella; ella se emblanquecía como la nieve en Salmón.
15 A mountain of God is the mountain of Bashan; A high mountain is the mountain of Bashan.
El monte de Dios, el monte de Basán: monte alto el monte de Basán.
16 Why look ye askance, ye high mountains, At the mountain which God hath desired for his abode? Yea, Jehovah will dwell [in it] for ever.
¿Por qué saltasteis, o! montes altos? Este monte amó Dios para su asiento: ciertamente Jehová habitará en él para siempre.
17 The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands upon thousands: The Lord is among them, [as in] Sinai, in the sanctuary.
Los carros de Dios dos millares de miles de ángeles: el Señor entre ellos, como en Sinaí, así en el santuario.
18 Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led away captives; Thou hast received gifts among men, Yea, [among] the rebellious also, that Jehovah God might dwell [with them].
Subiste a lo alto, cautivaste cautividad, tomaste dones para los hombres: y también los rebeldes para que habiten, o! Jah Dios.
19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily beareth our burden, Even the God who is our salvation. (Selah)
Bendito el Señor, cada día nos colma de mercedes, Dios nuestra salud. (Selah)
20 God is unto us a God of deliverances; And unto Jehovah the Lord belongeth escape from death.
Dios, Dios nuestro para saludes; y el Señor Jehová tiene salidas para la muerte.
21 But God will smite through the head of his enemies, The hairy scalp of such a one as goeth on still in his guiltiness.
Ciertamente Dios herirá la cabeza de sus enemigos, la mollera cabelluda de el que camina en sus pecados.
22 The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring [them] again from the depths of the sea;
El Señor dijo: De Basán haré volver, haré volver de los profundos de la mar;
23 That thou mayest crush [them], [dipping] thy foot in blood, That the tongue of thy dogs may have its portion from [thine] enemies.
Porque tu pie se embermejecerá de sangre de sus enemigos; y la lengua de tus perros de ella.
24 They have seen thy goings, O God, Even the goings of my God, my King, into the sanctuary.
Vieron tus caminos, o! Dios: los caminos de mi Dios, de mi Rey en el santuario.
25 The singers went before, the minstrels followed after, In the midst of the damsels playing with timbrels.
Los cantores iban delante, detrás, los tañedores: en medio las doncellas con adufes.
26 Bless ye God in the congregations, Even the Lord, [ye that are] of the fountain of Israel.
Bendecíd a Dios en congregaciones: al Señor, los de el manadero de Israel.
27 There is little Benjamin their ruler, The princes of Judah [and] their council, The princes of Zebulun, the princes of Naphtali.
Allí estaba Ben-jamín pequeño señoreándolos; príncipes de Judá en su congregación, príncipes de Zabulón, príncipes de Neftalí.
28 Thy God hath commanded thy strength: Strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.
Tu Dios ha ordenado tu fuerza: confirma, o! Dios, lo que has obrado en nosotros.
29 Because of thy temple at Jerusalem Kings shall bring presents unto thee.
Desde tu templo en Jerusalem, a ti ofrecerán los reyes dones.
30 Rebuke the wild beast of the reeds, The multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the peoples, Trampling under foot the pieces of silver: He hath scattered the peoples that delight in war.
Destruye el escuadrón de lanza, el escuadrón de fuertes, con señores de pueblos, hollándo los con sus piezas de plata: destruye los pueblos que quieren guerras.
31 Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall haste to stretch out her hands unto God.
Vendrán príncipes de Egipto: Etiopía apresurará sus manos a Dios.
32 Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; Oh sing praises unto the Lord; (Selah)
Reinos de la tierra cantád a Dios; cantád al Señor; (Selah)
33 To him that rideth upon the heaven of heavens, which are of old; Lo, he uttereth his voice, a mighty voice.
Al que cabalga sobre los cielos de los cielos de antigüedad: he aquí, él dará con su voz, voz de fortaleza.
34 Ascribe ye strength unto God: His excellency is over Israel, And his strength is in the skies.
Dad fortaleza a Dios: sobre Israel es su magnificencia, y su fortaleza en las nubes.
35 O God, [thou art] terrible out of thy holy places: The God of Israel, he giveth strength and power unto [his] people. Blessed be God.
Terrible eres, o! Dios, desde tus santuarios; el Dios de Israel, él da fortaleza y fuerzas al pueblo: Bendito Dios.
