Psalms 37
1 [A Psalm] of David. Fret not thyself because of evil-doers, Neither be thou envious against them that work unrighteousness.
১দায়ূদের একটি গীত। অন্যায়কারীদের জন্য বিরক্ত হয়ো না; যারা অন্যায় করে তাদের প্রতি হিংসা করো না।
2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, And wither as the green herb.
২কারণ তারা ঘাস হিসাবে শীঘ্রই শুকিয়ে যাবে এবং সবুজ গাছের মত শুকিয়ে যাবে।
3 Trust in Jehovah, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on [his] faithfulness.
৩সদাপ্রভুুতে নির্ভর কর এবং যা ন্যায্য তাই কর; দেশের মধ্যে বাস কর এবং বিশ্বস্ততা চারণভূমি উপভোগ কর।
4 Delight thyself also in Jehovah; And he will give thee the desires of thy heart.
৪আর সদাপ্রভুুতে আনন্দিত হও এবং তিনি তোমার হৃদয়ের ইচ্ছা পূর্ণ করবেন।
5 Commit thy way unto Jehovah; Trust also in him, and he will bring it to pass.
৫তোমার গতি সদাপ্রভুুতে অর্পণ কর; তাঁর উপর নির্ভর কর এবং তিনি তোমার পক্ষে কাজ করবেন।
6 And he will make thy righteousness to go forth as the light, And thy justice as the noonday.
৬তোমার ন্যায়বিচার আলোর মত এবং তিনি দুপুরে তোমার নির্দোষীতা প্রকাশ করবেন।
7 Rest in Jehovah, and wait patiently for him: Fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, Because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
৭সদাপ্রভুুর সামনে নিরব হও এবং ধৈর্য ধরে তাঁর জন্য অপেক্ষা কর। যে কেউ তার মন্দ পথে সফল হয় ও যদি কোন মানুষ খারাপ চক্রান্ত করে, তার প্রতি বিরক্ত হয়ো না।
8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: Fret not thyself, [it tendeth] only to evil-doing.
৮রাগ এবং হতাশা থেকে বিরত হও। চিন্তা কর না; এটি শুধুমাত্র কষ্ট দেয়।
9 For evil-doers shall be cut off; But those that wait for Jehovah, they shall inherit the land.
৯অপরাধীদের কেটে ফেলা হবে, কিন্তু যারা সদাপ্রভুুর অপেক্ষা করে, তারা দেশে উত্তরাধিকারী হবে।
10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: Yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and he shall not be.
১০কিছুক্ষণ পরে দুষ্ট লোক অদৃশ্য হয়ে যাবে, তুমি তার জায়গায় দিকে তাকাবে, কিন্তু সে আর নেই।
11 But the meek shall inherit the land, And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
১১কিন্তু বিনয়ীরা দেশের উত্তরকারী হবে এবং মহা সমৃদ্ধির মধ্যে আনন্দিত হবে।
12 The wicked plotteth against the just, And gnasheth upon him with his teeth.
১২দুষ্টলোক ধার্ম্মিকদের বিরুদ্ধে চক্রান্ত করে এবং তার বিরুদ্ধে দাঁত ঘর্ষণ করে।
13 The Lord will laugh at him; For he seeth that his day is coming.
১৩প্রভু তাকে উপহাস করবে, কারণ তিনি দেখেন তার দিন আসছে।
14 The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, To cast down the poor and needy, To slay such as are upright in the way.
১৪দুষ্টেরা তাদের তলোয়ারগুলো আঁকড়ে ধরেছে এবং নিপীড়িত ও অভাবগ্রস্তদেরকে নিক্ষেপ করার জন্য তাদের ধনুক বাঁকা করে, যেন ন্যায়পরায়ণদের হত্যা করতে পারে।
15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart, And their bows shall be broken.
১৫তাদের তলোয়ার দিয়ে নিজের হৃদয় বিদ্ধ করে এবং তাদের ধনুক ভেঙে যাবে।
16 Better is a little that the righteous hath Than the abundance of many wicked.
১৬ধার্ম্মিকদের অল্প সম্পত্তি ভালো, অনেক দুষ্ট লোকের প্রচুর ধনসম্পদের থেকে ভালো।
17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken; But Jehovah upholdeth the righteous.
১৭কারণ দুষ্ট লোকেদের অস্ত্র ভাঙ্গা হবে, কিন্তু সদাপ্রভুু ধার্মিক লোকেদের সমর্থন করেন।
18 Jehovah knoweth the days of the perfect; And their inheritance shall be for ever.
১৮সদাপ্রভুু ধার্ম্মিকদের দিন গুলো জানেন এবং তাদের উত্তরাধিকার চিরকাল থাকবে।
19 They shall not be put to shame in the time of evil; And in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
১৯তারা খারাপ দিন ও লজ্জিত হবে না। যখন দূর্ভিক্ষ আসে, তখনও তাদের খাবার যথেষ্ট থাকবে।
20 But the wicked shall perish, And the enemies of Jehovah shall be as the fat of lambs: They shall consume; in smoke shall they consume away.
২০কিন্তু মন্দ লোকেরা বিনষ্ট হবে। সদাপ্রভুুর শত্রুরা চারণভূমির গৌরবের মত হবে; তারা ধোঁয়ার মত উপরে অদৃশ্য হয়ে যাবে।
21 The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again; But the righteous dealeth graciously, and giveth.
২১দুষ্টলোকেরা ঋণ নেয় কিন্তু পরিশোধ করে না, কিন্তু ধার্মিক লোক উদার ও দানশীল।
22 For such as are blessed of him shall inherit the land; And they that are cursed of him shall be cut off.
২২যারা ঈশ্বরের দ্বারা আশীর্বাদপ্রাপ্ত হয় তারা দেশের উত্তরাধিকারী হবে, কিন্তু যারা তাকে অভিশাপ দেয় তাদের কেটে ফেলা হবে।
23 A man’s goings are established of Jehovah; And he delighteth in his way.
২৩সদাপ্রভুুর মাধ্যমেই মানুষের সমস্ত পদক্ষেপ প্রতিষ্ঠিত হয়, সেই ব্যক্তির পথ ঈশ্বরের দৃষ্টিতে প্রশংসনীয় হয়।
24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; For Jehovah upholdeth him with his hand.
২৪যদিও সে হোঁচট খায়, সে নিচে পরে যাবে না, কারণ সদাপ্রভুু তাঁর হাতের দ্বারা তাকে ধরে রাখবেন।
25 I have been young, and now am old; Yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his seed begging bread.
২৫আমি যুবক ছিলাম এবং এখন বৃদ্ধ হয়েছি, আমি ধার্মিক ব্যক্তিকে পরিত্যক্ত হতে বা তার সন্তানদের রুটির জন্য ভিক্ষা করতে দেখিনি।
26 All the day long he dealeth graciously, and lendeth; And his seed is blessed.
২৬সে সমস্ত দিন করুণা করে এবং ধার দেয় এবং তার সন্তানরা আশীর্বাদ পায়।
27 Depart from evil, and do good; And dwell for evermore.
২৭তুমি মন্দ থেকে দূরে যাও এবং যা সঠিক তা কর, তাহলে তুমি চিরকাল নিরাপদে থাকবে।
28 For Jehovah loveth justice, And forsaketh not his saints; They are preserved for ever: But the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
২৮কারণ সদাপ্রভুু ন্যায়বিচার ভালোবাসেন এবং তাঁর বিশ্বস্ত অনুসরণকারীদের পরিত্যাগ করেন না। তাদের চিরকাল রক্ষা করা হবে, কিন্তু দুষ্টদের বংশধরদের কেটে ফেলা হবে।
29 The righteous shall inherit the land, And dwell therein for ever.
২৯ধার্ম্মিকেরা দেশের উত্তরাধিকারী হবে এবং চিরকাল সেখানে বাস করবে।
30 The mouth of the righteous talketh of wisdom, And his tongue speaketh justice.
৩০ধার্ম্মিকদের মুখ জ্ঞানের কথা বলে এবং তাদের জিহ্বা ন্যায়বিচারের কথা বলে।
31 The law of his God is in his heart; None of his steps shall slide.
৩১ঈশ্বরের বিচার তার হৃদয়ের মধ্যে আছে; তার পা পিছলাবে না।
32 The wicked watcheth the righteous, And seeketh to slay him.
৩২দুষ্টলোক ধার্মিক ব্যক্তির প্রতি লক্ষ্য রাখে এবং তাকে হত্যা করতে চায়।
33 Jehovah will not leave him in his hand, Nor condemn him when he is judged.
৩৩সদাপ্রভুু তাকে দুষ্ট লোকেদের হাতে ছেড়ে দেবেন না, বিচারের দিন ও তাকে দোষী করবেন না।
34 Wait for Jehovah, and keep his way, And he will exalt thee to inherit the land: When the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.
৩৪সদাপ্রভুুর জন্য অপেক্ষা কর এবং তাঁর পথে চল ও তিনি তোমাকে দেশের উত্তরাধীকারের জন্য উন্নত করবেন; দুষ্টদের কেটে ফেলা হবে তুমি তা দেখতে পাবে।
35 I have seen the wicked in great power, And spreading himself like a green tree in its native soil.
৩৫আমি মহান ক্ষমতার সাথে দুষ্টকে দেখেছি, উত্পত্তি স্থানের মাটিতে একটি সবুজ গাছের মত ছড়িয়ে পড়ে।
36 But one passed by, and, lo, he was not: Yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.
৩৬কিন্তু আমি সেই পথে আবার যখন গেলাম, সে সেখানে ছিল না, আমি পাশ দিয়ে গেলাম, কিন্তু তাকে পাওয়া গেল না।
37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright; For there is a [happy] end to the man of peace.
৩৭ন্যায়নিষ্ঠ মানুষকে মান্য কর এবং ন্যায়পরায়ণতা চিহ্নিত কর; শান্তি প্রিয় ব্যক্তির শেষ ফল আছে।
38 As for transgressors, they shall be destroyed together: The end of the wicked shall be cut off.
৩৮পাপীরা সংপূর্ণ ধ্বংস হয়ে যাবে; দুষ্ট লোককে ভবিষ্যতে কেটে ফেলা হবে।
39 But the salvation of the righteous is of Jehovah: He is their stronghold in the time of trouble.
৩৯ধার্ম্মিকদের পরিত্রান সদাপ্রভুুর থেকে আসে; তিনি কষ্টের দিন তাদের রক্ষা করেন।
40 And Jehovah helpeth them, and rescueth them: He rescueth them from the wicked, and saveth them, Because they have taken refuge in him.
৪০সদাপ্রভুু তাদের সাহায্য করবেন এবং তাদের উদ্ধার করবেন। তিনি মন্দ লোকেদের থেকে তাদের রক্ষা করেন এবং তাদের উদ্ধার করেন, কারণ তারা তাঁর আশ্রয় নিয়েছেন।
