Psalms 148
1 Praise ye Jehovah. Praise ye Jehovah from the heavens: Praise him in the heights.
Hallelujah, lobet Jehovah von den Himmeln her, lobet Ihn in den Höhen!
2 Praise ye him, all his angels: Praise ye him, all his host.
Lobet Ihn, alle Seine Engel! Lobet Ihn alle Seine Heerscharen!
3 Praise ye him, sun and moon: Praise him, all ye stars of light.
Lobet Ihn, Sonne und Mond, lobet Ihn, all ihr Sterne des Lichtes.
4 Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, And ye waters that are above the heavens.
Lobet Ihn, ihr Himmel der Himmel, und ihr Wasser, die ihr über den Himmeln seid!
5 Let them praise the name of Jehovah; For he commanded, and they were created.
Sie sollen den Namen Jehovahs loben; denn Er gebot, und sie waren geschaffen.
6 He hath also established them for ever and ever: He hath made a decree which shall not pass away.
Und Er läßt sie stehen immerfort und in Ewigkeit, eine Satzung hat Er gegeben, und sie geht nicht vorüber.
7 Praise Jehovah from the earth, Ye sea-monsters, and all deeps;
Lobet Jehovah von der Erde, Walfische und alle Abgründe!
8 Fire and hail, snow and vapor; Stormy wind, fulfilling his word;
Feuer und Hagel, Schnee und Dampf, Wind des Sturmes, der Sein Wort tut.
9 Mountains and all hills; Fruitful trees and all cedars;
Berge und Hügel alle, Fruchtbäume und alle Zedern!
10 Beasts and all cattle; Creeping things and flying birds;
Wild und alles Vieh, Kriechtiere und befiederte Vögel!
11 Kings of the earth and all peoples; Princes and all judges of the earth;
Könige der Erde und alle Volksstämme, ihr Obersten und alle Richter der Erde!
12 Both young men and virgins; Old men and children:
Jünglinge und auch Jungfrauen, Alte mit den Jungen.
13 Let them praise the name of Jehovah; For his name alone is exalted; His glory is above the earth and the heavens.
Jehovahs Namen sollen sie loben; denn hoch ist Sein Name allein, Seine Majestät über Erde und Himmel.
14 And he hath lifted up the horn of his people, The praise of all his saints; Even of the children of Israel, a people near unto him. Praise ye Jehovah.
Und erhöht hat Er das Horn Seinem Volke, das Lob all Seinen Heiligen, den Söhnen Israel, dem Volke, das Ihm nahe ist. Hallelujah.
