Psalms 136
1 Oh give thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever.
Oh, mshukuruni Yahwe; kwa kuwa ni mwema, kwa maana uaminifu wa agano lake wadumu milele.
2 Oh give thanks unto the God of gods; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever.
Oh, Mshukuruni Mungu wa miungu, kwa maana uaminifu wa agano lake wadumu milele.
3 Oh give thanks unto the Lord of lords; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever:
Oh, mshukuruni Bwana wa mabwana, kwa maana uaminifu wa agano lake wadumu milele.
4 To him who alone doeth great wonders; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever:
Mshukuruni yeye ambaye peke yake hufanya maajabu makuu, kwa maana uaminifu wa agano lake wadumu milele.
5 To him that by understanding made the heavens; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever:
Yeye aliyezifanya mbingu kwa hekima zake, kwa maana uaminifu wa agano lake wadumu milele.
6 To him that spread forth the earth above the waters; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever:
Mshukuruni yeye alitetandaza nchi juu ya maji, kwa maana uaminifu wa agano lake wadumu milele.
7 To him that made great lights; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever:
Yeye aliyefanya mianga mikubwa, kwa maana uaminifu wa agano lake wadumu milele.
8 The sun to rule by day; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever;
Mshukuruni yeye alipaye jua kutawala mchana, kwa maana uaminifu wa agano lake wadumu milele.
9 The moon and stars to rule by night; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever:
Mwezi na nyota vitawale usiku, kwa maana uaminifu wa agano lake wadumu milele.
10 To him that smote Egypt in their first-born; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever;
Mshukuruni yeye aliyewaua wazaliwa wa kwanza wa Misri, kwa maana uaminifu wa agano lake wadumu milele.
11 And brought out Israel from among them; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever;
Akawatoa Waisraeli kati yao, kwa maana uaminifu wa agano lake wadumu milele.
12 With a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever:
Kwa mkono hodari na mkono ulio nyooshwa, kwa maana uaminifu wa agano lake wadumu milele.
13 To him that divided the Red Sea in sunder; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever;
Mshukuruni yeye aliyeigawa Bahari ya Shamu, kwa maana uaminifu wa agano lake wadumu milele.
14 And made Israel to pass through the midst of it; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever;
Na kuwapitisha Waisraeli katikati yake, kwa maana uaminifu wa agano lake wadumu milele.
15 But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red Sea; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever:
Lakini akamtupa Farao na jeshi lake katika Bahari ya Shamu, kwa maana uaminifu wa agano lake wadumu milele.
16 To him that led his people through the wilderness; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever:
Mshukuruni yeye aliye waongoza watu wake jangwani, kwa maana uaminifu wa agano lake ni wa milele.
17 To him that smote great kings; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever;
Yeye aliyewaua wafalme wakuu, kwa maana uaminifu wa agano lake ni wadumu milele.
18 And slew famous kings; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever:
Mshukuruni yeye aliyewaua wafalme maarufu, kwa maana uaminifu wa agano lake wadumu milele.
19 Sihon king of the Amorites; For his lovingkindness [endureth] forever;
Sihoni mfalme wa Waamori, kwa maana uaminifu wa agano lake wadumu milele.
20 And Og king of Bashan; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever;
Na Ogu, mfalme wa Bashani, kwa maana uaminifu wa agano lake wadumu milele.
21 And gave their land for a heritage; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever;
Mshukuruni yeye aliyewapa nchi yao kama urithi, kwa maana uaminifu wa agano lake wadumu milele.
22 Even a heritage unto Israel his servant; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever:
Urithi wa Israel mtumishi wake, kwa maana uaminifu wa agano lake wadumu milele.
23 Who remembered us in our low estate; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever;
Yeye aliyetukumbuka na kutusaidia katika unyonge wetu, kwa maana uaminifu wa agano lake wadumu milele.
24 And hath delivered us from our adversaries; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever:
Mshukuruni yeye ambaye ametupa ushindi juu ya aui zetu, kwa maana uaminifu wa agano lake wadumu milele.
25 Who giveth food to all flesh; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever.
Yeye awapaye chakula viumbe hai wote, kwa maana uaminifu wa agano lake wadumu milele.
26 Oh give thanks unto the God of heaven; For his lovingkindness [endureth] for ever.
Oh, mshukuruni Mungu wa mbinguni, kwa maana uaminifu wa agano lake wadumu milele.
