Psalms 135
1 Praise ye Jehovah. Praise ye the name of Jehovah; Praise [him], O ye servants of Jehovah,
யெகோவாவைத் துதியுங்கள். யெகோவாவினுடைய பெயரைத் துதியுங்கள்; யெகோவாவின் பணியாட்களே, நீங்கள் அவரைத் துதியுங்கள்,
2 Ye that stand in the house of Jehovah, In the courts of the house of our God.
நமது இறைவனுடைய ஆலய முற்றங்களிலும், யெகோவாவினுடைய ஆலயத்திலும் ஊழியம் செய்கிறவர்களே, நீங்கள் அவரைத் துதியுங்கள்.
3 Praise ye Jehovah; for Jehovah is good: Sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.
யெகோவாவைத் துதியுங்கள், யெகோவா நல்லவர்; அவருடைய பெயருக்குத் துதி பாடுங்கள், அது இனிமையானது.
4 For Jehovah hath chosen Jacob unto himself, [And] Israel for his own possession.
ஏனெனில் யெகோவா யாக்கோபைத் தமக்குச் சொந்தமாயிருக்கும்படி தெரிந்துகொண்டார்; இஸ்ரயேலரைத் தமது அருமைச் சொத்தாய் இருக்கும்படி தெரிந்துகொண்டார்.
5 For I know that Jehovah is great, And that our Lord is above all gods.
யெகோவா பெரியவர் என்றும், நமது யெகோவா எல்லாத் தெய்வங்களைப் பார்க்கிலும், மேலானவர் என்பதையும் நான் அறிவேன்.
6 Whatsoever Jehovah pleased, that hath he done, In heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps;
வானத்திலும் பூமியிலும், கடல்களிலும், அவைகளின் எல்லா ஆழங்களிலும் யெகோவா தமக்கு விருப்பமான எதையும் செய்கிறார்.
7 Who causeth the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; Who maketh lightnings for the rain; Who bringeth forth the wind out of his treasuries;
அவர் பூமியின் கடைசியிலிருந்து மேகங்களை எழும்பச் செய்கிறார்; மழையுடன் மின்னலையும் அவர் அனுப்புகிறார், காற்றை தமது சேமிப்புக்கிடங்கிலிருந்து வெளியே புறப்படச்செய்கிறார்.
8 Who smote the first-born of Egypt, Both of man and beast;
அவர் எகிப்தின் முதற்பேறுகளை அழித்தார், மனிதரின் முதற்பேறுகளையும் மிருகங்களின் தலையீற்றுகளையும் அழித்தார்.
9 Who sent signs and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, Upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants;
எகிப்தே, பார்வோனுக்கும் அவனுடைய எல்லா பணியாட்களுக்கும் விரோதமாக அவர் தம்முடைய அடையாளங்களையும் அதிசயங்களையும் உன் மத்தியில் அனுப்பினாரே.
10 Who smote many nations, And slew mighty kings,
அவர் அநேக நாடுகளைத் தாக்கினார், வலிமைமிக்க அரசர்களைக் கொன்றார்;
11 Sihon king of the Amorites, And Og king of Bashan, And all the kingdoms of Canaan,
எமோரியரின் அரசன் சீகோனையும், பாசானின் அரசன் ஓகையும், கானானின் அரசர்கள் எல்லோரையும் அழித்தார்,
12 And gave their land for a heritage, A heritage unto Israel his people.
அவர் அவர்களுடைய நாட்டை உரிமைச்சொத்தாக, தமது மக்களாகிய இஸ்ரயேலருக்கு உரிமைச்சொத்தாகக் கொடுத்தார்.
13 Thy name, O Jehovah, [endureth] for ever; Thy memorial [name], O Jehovah, throughout all generations.
யெகோவாவே, உமது பெயர் என்றென்றைக்கும் நிலைக்கிறது; யெகோவாவே, உமது புகழ் தலைமுறை தலைமுறையாக நிலைக்கும்.
14 For Jehovah will judge his people, And repent himself concerning his servants.
யெகோவா தம் மக்களின் நியாயத்தை விசாரித்து, தம் அடியார்கள்மேல் இரக்கங்காட்டுவார்.
15 The idols of the nations are silver and gold, The work of men’s hands.
பிறநாடுகளின் விக்கிரகங்கள் வெள்ளியும் தங்கமும், மனிதருடைய கைகளினால் செய்யப்பட்டதுமாய் இருக்கிறது.
16 They have mouths, but they speak not; Eyes have they, but they see not;
அவைகளுக்கு வாயிருந்தும் பேசாது; அவைகளுக்குக் கண்களிருந்தும் காணாது.
17 They have ears, but they hear not; Neither is there any breath in their mouths.
அவைகளுக்குக் காதுகளிருந்தும் கேளாது, அவைகளுடைய வாயிலே சுவாசமுமில்லை.
18 They that make them shall be like unto them; Yea, every one that trusteth in them.
அவைகளைச் செய்கிறவர்களும், அவைகளை நம்புகிற எல்லோரும் அவைகளைப்போலவே இருக்கிறார்கள்.
19 O house of Israel, bless ye Jehovah: O house of Aaron, bless ye Jehovah:
இஸ்ரயேல் குடும்பத்தாரே, யெகோவாவைத் துதியுங்கள்; ஆரோன் குடும்பத்தாரே, யெகோவாவைத் துதியுங்கள்;
20 O house of Levi, bless ye Jehovah: Ye that fear Jehovah, bless ye Jehovah.
லேவி குடும்பத்தாரே, யெகோவாவைத் துதியுங்கள்; அவருக்குப் பயந்து நடக்கிறவர்களே, யெகோவாவைத் துதியுங்கள்.
21 Blessed be Jehovah out of Zion, Who dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye Jehovah.
எருசலேமில் குடிகொண்டிருக்கும் யெகோவாவுக்கு, சீயோனிலிருந்து துதி உண்டாகட்டும். யெகோவாவைத் துதியுங்கள்.
