Psalms 116
1 I love Jehovah, because he heareth My voice and my supplications.
Мило ми је што Господ услиши молитвени глас мој;
2 Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, Therefore will I call [upon him] as long as I live.
Што пригну к мени ухо своје; и зато ћу Га у све дане своје призивати.
3 The cords of death compassed me, And the pains of Sheol gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow. (Sheol h7585)
Опколише ме болести смртне, и јади паклени задесише ме, наиђох на тугу и муку; (Sheol h7585)
4 Then called I upon the name of Jehovah: O Jehovah, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.
Али призвах име Господње: Господе! Избави душу моју!
5 Gracious is Jehovah, and righteous; Yea, our God is merciful.
Добар је Господ и праведан, и Бог је наш милостив;
6 Jehovah preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he saved me.
Чува просте Господ; бејах у невољи, и поможе ми.
7 Return unto thy rest, O my soul; For Jehovah hath dealt bountifully with thee.
Врати се душо моја, у мир свој! Јер је Господ добротвор твој!
8 For thou hast delivered my soul from death, Mine eyes from tears, [And] my feet from falling.
Ти си избавио душу моју од смрти, око моје од суза, ногу моју од спотицања.
9 I will walk before Jehovah In the land of the living.
Ходићу пред лицем Господњим по земљи живих.
10 I believe, for I will speak: I was greatly afflicted:
Веровах кад говорих: У љутој сам невољи.
11 I said in my haste, All men are liars.
Рекох у сметњи својој: Сваки је човек лажа.
12 What shall I render unto Jehovah For all his benefits toward me?
Шта ћу вратити Господу за сва добра што ми је учинио?
13 I will take the cup of salvation, And call upon the name of Jehovah.
Узећу чашу спасења, и призваћу име Господње.
14 I will pay my vows unto Jehovah, Yea, in the presence of all his people.
Извршићу обећања своја Господу пред свим народом Његовим.
15 Precious in the sight of Jehovah Is the death of his saints.
Скупа је пред Господом смрт светаца Његових.
16 O Jehovah, truly I am thy servant: I am thy servant, the son of thy handmaid; Thou hast loosed my bonds.
О Господе! Ја сам слуга Твој, ја сам слуга Твој, син слушкиње Твоје; расковао си с мене окове моје.
17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, And will call upon the name of Jehovah.
Жртву за хвалу принећу Теби, и име Господње призваћу.
18 I will pay my vows unto Jehovah, Yea, in the presence of all his people,
Извршићу обећања своја Господу пред свим народом Његовим,
19 In the courts of Jehovah’s house, In the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye Jehovah.
У двору дома Господњег, усред тебе, Јерусалиме. Алилуја!
