Psalms 102
1 A Prayer of the afflicted, when he is overwhelmed, and poureth out his complaint before Jehovah. Hear my prayer, O Jehovah, And let my cry come unto thee.
ऐ ख़ुदावन्द! मेरी दुआ सुन और मेरी फ़रियाद तेरे सामने पहुँचे।
2 Hide not thy face from me in the day of my distress: Incline thine ear unto me; In the day when I call answer me speedily.
मेरी मुसीबत के दिन मुझ से चेहरा न छिपा, अपना कान मेरी तरफ़ झुका, जिस दिन मैं फ़रियाद करूँ मुझे जल्द जवाब दे।
3 For my days consume away like smoke, And my bones are burned as a firebrand.
क्यूँकि मेरे दिन धुएँ की तरह उड़े जाते हैं, और मेरी हड्डियाँ ईधन की तरह जल गई।
4 My heart is smitten like grass, and withered; For I forget to eat my bread.
मेरा दिल घास की तरह झुलस कर सूख गया; क्यूँकि मैं अपनी रोटी खाना भूल जाता हूँ।
5 By reason of the voice of my groaning My bones cleave to my flesh.
कराहते कराहते मेरी हड्डियाँ मेरे गोश्त से जा लगीं।
6 I am like a pelican of the wilderness; I am become as an owl of the waste places.
मैं जंगली हवासिल की तरह हूँ, मैं वीराने का उल्लू बन गया।
7 I watch, and am become like a sparrow That is alone upon the house-top.
मैं बेख़्वाब और उस गौरे की तरह हो गया हूँ, जो छत पर अकेला हो।
8 Mine enemies reproach me all the day; They that are mad against me do curse by me.
मेरे दुश्मन मुझे दिन भर मलामत करते हैं; मेरे मुख़ालिफ़ दीवाना होकर मुझ पर ला'नत करते हैं।
9 For I have eaten ashes like bread, And mingled my drink with weeping,
क्यूँकि मैंने रोटी की तरह राख खाई, और आँसू मिलाकर पानी पिया।
10 Because of thine indignation and thy wrath: For thou hast taken me up, and cast me away.
यह तेरे ग़ज़ब और क़हर की वजह से है, क्यूँकि तूने मुझे उठाया और फिर पटक दिया।
11 My days are like a shadow that declineth; And I am withered like grass.
मेरे दिन ढलने वाले साये की तरह हैं, और मैं घास की तरह मुरझा गया
12 But thou, O Jehovah, wilt abide for ever; And thy memorial [name] unto all generations.
लेकिन तू ऐ ख़ुदावन्द, हमेशा तक रहेगा; और तेरी यादगार नसल — दर — नसल रहेगी।
13 Thou wilt arise, and have mercy upon Zion; For it is time to have pity upon her, Yea, the set time is come.
तू उठेगा और सिय्यून पर रहम करेगाः क्यूँकि उस पर तरस खाने का वक़्त है, हाँ उसका मु'अय्यन वक़्त आ गया है।
14 For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, And have pity upon her dust.
इसलिए कि तेरे बन्दे उसके पत्थरों को चाहते, और उसकी ख़ाक पर तरस खाते हैं।
15 So the nations shall fear the name of Jehovah, And all the kings of the earth thy glory.
और क़ौमों को ख़ुदावन्द के नाम का, और ज़मीन के सब बादशाहों को तेरे जलाल का ख़ौफ़ होगा।
16 For Jehovah hath built up Zion; He hath appeared in his glory.
क्यूँकि ख़ुदावन्द ने सिय्यून को बनाया है; वह अपने जलाल में ज़ाहिर हुआ है।
17 He hath regarded the prayer of the destitute, And hath not despised their prayer.
उसने बेकसों की दुआ पर तवज्जुह की, और उनकी दुआ को हक़ीर न जाना।
18 This shall be written for the generation to come; And a people which shall be created shall praise Jehovah.
यह आने वाली नसल के लिए लिखा जाएगा, और एक क़ौम पैदा होगी जो ख़ुदावन्द की सिताइश करेगी।
19 For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; From heaven did Jehovah behold the earth;
क्यूँकि उसने अपने हैकल की बुलन्दी पर से निगाह की, ख़ुदावन्द ने आसमान पर से ज़मीन पर नज़र की;
20 To hear the sighing of the prisoner; To loose those that are appointed to death;
ताकि ग़ुलाम का कराहना सुने, और मरने वालों को छुड़ा ले;
21 That men may declare the name of Jehovah in Zion, And his praise in Jerusalem;
ताकि लोग सिय्यून में ख़ुदावन्द के नाम का इज़हार, और येरूशलेम में उसकी ता'रीफ़ करें,
22 When the peoples are gathered together, And the kingdoms, to serve Jehovah.
जब ख़ुदावन्द की इबादत के लिए, हों।
23 He weakened my strength in the way; He shortened my days.
उसने राह में मेरा ज़ोर घटा दिया, उसने मेरी उम्र कोताह कर दी।
24 I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: Thy years are throughout all generations.
मैंने कहा, ऐ मेरे ख़ुदा, मुझे आधी उम्र में न उठा, तेरे बरस नसल दर नसल हैं।
25 Of old didst thou lay the foundation of the earth; And the heavens are the work of thy hands.
तूने इब्तिदा से ज़मीन की बुनियाद डाली; आसमान तेरे हाथ की कारीगरी है।
26 They shall perish, but thou shalt endure; Yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; As a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:
वह हलाक हो जाएँगे, लेकिन तू बाक़ी रहेगा; बल्कि वह सब पोशाक की तरह पुराने हो जाएँगे। तू उनको लिबास की तरह बदलेगा, और वह बदल जाएँगे;
27 But thou art the same, And thy years shall have no end.
लेकिन तू बदलने वाला नहीं है, और तेरे बरस बेइन्तिहा होंगे।
28 The children of thy servants shall continue, And their seed shall be established before thee.
तेरे बन्दों के फ़र्ज़न्द बरकरार रहेंगे; और उनकी नसल तेरे सामने क़ाईम रहेगी।
