Luke 22
1 Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.
ⲁ̅ⲛⲁϥϧⲉⲛⲧ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⳿ⲡϣⲁⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲁⲧ⳿ϣⲙⲏⲣ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩϯ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲉ ⲡⲓⲡⲁⲥⲭⲁ.
2 And the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might put him to death; for they feared the people.
ⲃ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲩⲕⲱϯ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲁⲣⲭⲓⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲥⲁϧ ϫⲉ ⲁⲩⲛⲁⲧⲁⲕⲟϥ ⳿ⲛⲁϣ ⳿ⲛⲣⲏϯ ⲛⲁⲩⲉⲣϩⲟϯ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉ ϧⲁ⳿ⲧϩⲏ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ.
3 And Satan entered into Judas who was called Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.
ⲅ̅ⲁ ⳿ⲡⲥⲁⲧⲁⲛⲁⲥ ⲇⲉ ϣⲉ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡϩⲏⲧ ⳿ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲥ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩϯ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲥⲕⲁⲣⲓⲱⲧⲏ ⲥ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲡⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲓ̅ⲃ̅.
4 And he went away, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might deliver him unto them.
ⲇ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϥϣⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ⲁϥⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲁⲣⲭ ⲓⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲥⲁⲧⲏⲅⲟⲥ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲉⲧⲏⲓϥ ⳿ⲉⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ.
5 And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.
ⲉ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲣⲁϣⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲥⲉⲙⲛⲏⲧⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ ⲉϯ ⲛⲁϥ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩϩⲁⲧ.
6 And he consented, and sought opportunity to deliver him unto them in the absence of the multitude.
ⲋ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲉⲣⲉⲝⲟⲙⲟⲗⲟⲅⲓⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁϥⲕⲱϯ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲛⲥⲁ ⲟⲩⲉⲩⲕⲉⲣⲓⲁ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉϥⲧⲏⲓϥ ⳿ⲉⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⲁⲧϭⲛⲉ ⲙⲏϣ.
7 And the day of unleavened bread came, on which the passover must be sacrificed.
ⲍ̅ϥ⳿ⲓ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲁⲧ⳿ϣⲙⲏ ⲣ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲉ⳿ⲥϣⲉ ⳿ⲉϣⲁⲧ ⲡⲓⲡⲁⲥⲭⲁ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ.
8 And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and make ready for us the passover, that we may eat.
ⲏ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲣⲡ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲓⲱⲁⲛⲛⲏ ⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁϣⲉ ⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲥⲉⲃⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲡⲁⲥⲭⲁ ⲛⲁⲛ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲟⲙϥ.
9 And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we make ready?
ⲑ̅⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲕⲟⲩⲱϣ ⳿ⲉⲥⲉⲃⲧⲱⲧϥ ⲑⲱⲛ.
10 And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house whereinto he goeth.
ⲓ̅⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⳿ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϣⲉⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉϯⲃⲁⲕⲓ ⳿ϥⲛⲁ⳿Ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲉϥϥⲁⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩϣⲟⲩϣⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲙⲟϣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉϥⲛⲁϣⲉ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ.
11 And ye shall say unto the master of the house, The Teacher saith unto thee, Where is the guest-chamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲁϫⲟⲥ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲛⲉⲃⲏⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲏⲓ ϫⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲣⲉϥϯ⳿ⲥⲃⲱ ⲛⲁⲕ ϫⲉ ⲁϣ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓⲙⲁ ⳿ⲉ ⲛⲁⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲙⲡⲁⲡⲁⲥⲭⲁ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲁⲙⲁⲑⲏ ⲧⲏⲥ.
12 And he will show you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲏ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⳿ϥⲛⲁⲧⲁⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲛⲓϣϯ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁ ⲉϥⲥⲁ⳿ⲡϣⲱⲓ ⲉϥⲫⲟⲣϣ ⲥⲉⲃⲧⲱⲧϥ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ.
13 And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ⲉⲧⲁⲩϣⲉ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲩϫⲓⲙⲓ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩⲥⲉⲃⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲡⲁⲥⲭ ⲁ.
14 And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the apostles with him.
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲁϥⲣⲱⲧⲉⲃ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⳿ⲛⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ.
15 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲉⲡⲓⲑⲩⲙⲓ⳿ⲁ ⲁⲓⲉⲣⲉⲡⲓⲑⲩⲙⲓⲛ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲡⲁⲥ ⲭⲁ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁϯϭⲓ⳿ⲙⲕⲁϩ.
16 for I say unto you, I shall not eat it, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ϯϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲛⲁⲟⲩⲟⲙϥ ϣⲁⲧⲉϥϫⲱⲕ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ϯⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ.
17 And he received a cup, and when he had given thanks, he said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥϭⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩ⳿ⲁⲫⲟⲧ ⲁϥϣⲉⲡ⳿ϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲙⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⳿ⲉⲫⲁⲓ ⲫⲟϣϥ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ.
18 for I say unto you, I shall not drink from henceforth of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ϯϫⲱ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲛⲁⲥⲱ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲡⲟⲩⲧⲁϩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲧⲁⲓⲃⲱ ⳿ⲛⲁⲗⲟⲗⲓ ϣⲁⲧⲉⲥ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ.
19 And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he brake it, and gave to them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥϭⲓ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲓⲕ ϥϣⲉⲡ⳿ϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲁϥⲫⲁϣϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲁⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⳿ⲉⲧⲟⲩⲛⲁⲧⲏⲓϥ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲁⲣⲓⲧϥ ⳿ⲉⲡⲁⲙⲉⲩⲓ.
20 And the cup in like manner after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood, [even] that which is poured out for you.
ⲕ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲓ⳿ⲁⲫⲟⲧ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲟⲛ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁ ⲡⲓⲇⲓⲡⲛⲟⲛ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ⳿ⲁⲫⲟⲧ ϯⲇⲓ⳿ⲁⲑⲏⲕⲏ ⳿ⲙⲃⲉⲣⲓ ⲧⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲁ⳿ⲥⲛⲟϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ.
21 But behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.
ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ⲡⲗⲏⲛ ⲓⲥ ⳿ⲧϫⲓϫ ⳿ⲙⲫⲏⲉⲑⲛⲁⲧⲏⲓⲧ ⳿ⲥⲭⲏ ⲛⲉⲙⲏⲓ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ϯ⳿ⲧⲣⲁⲡⲉⲍⲁ.
22 For the Son of man indeed goeth, as it hath been determined: but woe unto that man through whom he is betrayed!
ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ϫⲉ ⳿ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲙⲉⲛ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⳿ϥⲛⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲑⲏϣ ⲡⲗⲏⲛ ⲟⲩⲟⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲟⲩⲛⲁⲧⲏⲓϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧϥ.
23 And they began to question among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.
ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲁⲩⲉⲣϩⲏⲧⲥ ⳿ⲛϣⲓⲛⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲟⲩⲉⲣⲏⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲁⲣⲁ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛϧⲏ ⲧⲟⲩ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲉⲣ ⲫⲁⲓ.
24 And there arose also a contention among them, which of them was accounted to be greatest.
ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲟⲛ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲫⲓⲗⲟⲛⲓⲕⲓ⳿ⲁ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓⲛⲓϣϯ.
25 And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles have lordship over them; and they that have authority over them are called Benefactors.
ⲕ̅ⲉ̅⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲉ ⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲥⲉⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛϭⲟⲓⲥ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲉⲣϣⲓϣⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲥⲉⲙⲟⲩϯ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲡⲉⲑⲛⲁⲛⲉϥ.
26 But ye [shall] not [be] so: but he that is the greater among you, let him become as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.
ⲕ̅ⲋ̅⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲡⲓⲛⲓϣϯ ⲉⲧϧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥⲉⲣ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓϧⲉⲗϣ⳿ⲓⲣⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲓϩⲏⲅⲟⲩⲙⲉⲛⲟⲥ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲇⲓ⳿ⲁⲕⲱⲛ.
27 For which is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am in the midst of you as he that serveth.
ⲕ̅ⲍ̅ⲛⲓⲙ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓⲛⲓϣϯ ⲫⲏⲉⲑⲣⲱⲧⲉⲃ ϣⲁⲛ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲉⲣⲇⲓ⳿ⲁⲕⲱⲛ ⲙⲏ ⲫⲏⲉⲑⲣⲱⲧⲉⲃ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲉϯⲭⲏ ϧⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲏϯ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲙⲫⲏⲉⲧⲉⲣⲇⲓ⳿ⲁⲕⲱⲛ.
28 But ye are they that have continued with me in my temptations;
ⲕ̅ⲏ̅⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲁⲩⲟϩⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲏⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲁⲡⲓⲣⲁⲥⲙⲟⲥ.
29 and I appoint unto you a kingdom, even as my Father appointed unto me,
ⲕ̅ⲑ̅⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ϩⲱ ϯⲛⲁⲥⲉⲙⲛⲓ ⲉⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲥⲉⲙⲛⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲏⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲓⲱⲧ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ.
30 that ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom; and ye shall sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
ⲗ̅ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲱⲙ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲱ ϩⲓ ⲁ⳿ⲧⲣⲁⲡⲉⲍⲁ ⲉⲛ ⲧⲁⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ϩⲁⲛ⳿ⲑⲣⲟⲛⲟⲥ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛ⳿ⲉϯ ϩⲁⲡ ⳿ⲉϯⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⳿ⲙⲫⲩⲗⲏ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲥ̅ⲗ̅.
31 Simon, Simon, behold, Satan asked to have you, that he might sift you as wheat:
ⲗ̅ⲁ̅ⲥⲓⲙⲱⲛ ⲥⲓⲙⲱⲛ ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲓⲥ ⲡⲥⲁⲧⲁⲛⲁⲥ ⲉϥ⳿ⲉⲉⲣⲉⲧⲓⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲉϣⲉⲗϣⲉⲗ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲥⲟⲩ⳿ⲟ.
32 but I made supplication for thee, that thy faith fail not; and do thou, when once thou hast turned again, establish thy brethren.
ⲗ̅ⲃ̅⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲓⲧⲱⲃϩ ⳿ⲉϫⲱⲕ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉϥ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲙⲙⲟⲩⲛⲕ ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲕⲛⲁϩϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ϩⲱⲕ ⲕⲟⲧⲕ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲙⲁⲧⲁϫⲣⲉ ⲛⲉⲕ⳿ⲥⲛⲏ ⲟⲩ.
33 And he said unto him, Lord, with thee I am ready to go both to prison and to death.
ⲗ̅ⲅ̅⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ Ⲡ⳪ ϯ ⲥⲉⲃⲧⲱⲧ ⳿ⲉϣⲉ ⲉ⳿ⲡ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲕⲟ ⲛⲉⲙⲁⲕ ⲛⲉⲙ ⳿ⲫⲙⲟⲩ.
34 And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, until thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.
ⲗ̅ⲇ̅⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ϯϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲕ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲉ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲁⲗⲉⲕⲧⲱⲣ ⲙⲟⲩϯ ⳿ⲙⲫⲟⲟⲩ ⲁⲧⲉⲕϫⲟⲗⲧ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛⲅ̅ ⳿ⲛⲥⲟⲡ ⲉⲑⲣⲉⲕ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ.
35 And he said unto them, When I sent you forth without purse, and wallet, and shoes, lacked ye anything? And they said, Nothing.
ⲗ̅ⲉ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲉⲧⲁⲓⲟⲩⲉⲣⲡ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲁϭⲛⲉ ⲁⲥⲟⲩⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲏⲣⲁ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲑⲱⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⲏ ⲁⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣϧⲁ⳿ⲉ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϩⲗⲓ ⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲙⲫⲏ.
36 And he said unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise a wallet; and he that hath none, let him sell his cloak, and buy a sword.
ⲗ̅ⲋ̅ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁϥ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲁⲥⲟⲩⲓ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥⲟⲗⲥ ⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲡⲏⲣⲁ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁϥ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥϯ ⲡⲉϥ⳿ϩⲃⲟⲥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥϣⲉⲡ ⲟⲩⲥⲏϥⲓ.
37 For I say unto you, that this which is written must be fulfilled in me, And he was reckoned with transgressors: for that which concerneth me hath fulfilment.
ⲗ̅ⲍ̅ϯϫⲱ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉ ⲫⲏⲉⲧ⳿ⲥϧⲏⲟⲩⲧ ϩⲱϯ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉϥϫⲱⲕ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧ ϫⲉ ⲁⲩⲟⲡϥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲙⲟⲥ ⲕⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉⲧ⳿ⲥϧⲏⲟⲩⲧ ⲉⲑⲃⲏⲧ ⲟⲩⲟⲛⲧⲉ ⲉϥϫⲱⲕ.
38 And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.
ⲗ̅ⲏ̅⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ Ⲡ⳪ ⲓⲥ ⲥⲏϥⲓ ⲃ̅ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲙⲁ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲥⲉⲣⲱϣⲓ.
39 And he came out, and went, as his custom was, unto the mount of Olives; and the disciples also followed him.
ⲗ̅ⲑ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁϥϣⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ϯⲕⲁϩⲥ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲧⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲓϫⲱⲓⲧ ⲁⲩⲙⲟϣⲓ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛⲥⲱϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲕⲉⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ.
40 And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.
ⲙ̅ⲉⲧⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲙⲁ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲧⲱⲃϩ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲣⲁⲥⲙⲟⲥ.
41 And he was parted from them about a stone’s cast; and he kneeled down and prayed,
ⲙ̅ⲁ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲱϯ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲫⲟⲩⲱϣ ⳿ⲛϩⲓ ⲟⲩⲱⲛⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥϩⲓⲧϥ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲛⲉϥⲕⲉⲗⲓ ⲁϥⲧⲱⲃϩ.
42 saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
ⲙ̅ⲃ̅ⲉϥϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲁⲓⲱⲧ ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⳿ⲭⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲙⲁⲣⲉ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲁⲫⲟⲧ ⲥⲓⲛⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲓ ⳿ⲡⲗⲏⲛ ⲡⲉⲧⲉϩⲛⲏⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲱⲕ ⲙⲁⲣⲉϥϣⲱⲡⲓ.
43 And there appeared unto him an angel from heaven, strengthening him.
ⲙ̅ⲅ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲁⲅⲅⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲧⲫⲉ ⲉⲑⲣⲉϥϯϫⲟⲙ ⲛⲁϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲉϥϭⲓϣϣⲱⲟⲩ ⲉϥⲉⲣⲡⲣⲟⲥⲉⲩⲭⲉⲥⲑⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉϥⲕⲉⲗⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲉ ⲛⲉϥϥⲱϯ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲙⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁⲛ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡ⳿ⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲉϥϣⲟⲩⲟ ⳿ⲉϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ.
44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly; and his sweat became as it were great drops of blood falling down upon the ground.
ⲙ̅ⲇ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϥⲧⲱⲃϩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϥϥⲱϯ ⲁϥⲉⲣ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡϣⲟⲩⲟ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲓ⳿ⲥⲛⲟϥ ⲉϥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ.
45 And when he rose up from his prayer, he came unto the disciples, and found them sleeping for sorrow,
ⲙ̅ⲉ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲧⲁϥⲧⲱⲛϥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ϯ⳿ⲡⲣⲟⲥⲉⲩⲭⲏ ⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ϩⲁ ⲛⲓⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲁϥϫⲉⲙⲟⲩ ⲉⲩ⳿ⲛⲕⲟⲧ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲙⲕⲁϩ ⳿ⲛϩⲏⲧ.
46 and said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, that ye enter not into temptation.
ⲙ̅ⲋ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⲉ ⲑⲃⲉⲟⲩ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛ⳿ⲛⲕⲟⲧ ⲧⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲁⲣⲓ⳿ⲡⲣⲟⲥⲉⲩⲭⲉⲥⲑⲉ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲙ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲣⲁⲥⲙⲟⲥ.
47 While he yet spake, behold, a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them; and he drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.
ⲙ̅ⲍ̅ⲉⲧⲓ ⲉϥⲥⲁϫⲓ ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲓⲥ ⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⲉⲙ ⲫⲏⲉⲧⲟⲩⲙⲟⲩϯ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ϫⲉ ⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲥ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲛⲁϥⲙⲟϣⲓ ϧⲁϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϧⲱⲛⲧ ⳿ⲉⲒⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲁϥϯⲫⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱϥ.
48 But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?
ⲙ̅ⲏ̅Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲇⲉ ⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲥ ⲁⲕⲛⲁϯ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲱⲙⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲫⲓ.
49 And when they that were about him saw what would follow, they said, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?
ⲙ̅ⲑ̅ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲕⲱϯ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⳿ⲉⲫⲏⲉⲧⲁϥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲉ ⳪ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛϩⲓⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲧⲥⲏϥⲓ.
50 And a certain one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and struck off his right ear.
ⲛ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁ ⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧⲟⲩ ⲁϥϩⲓⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲛⲥⲁ ⳿ⲫⲃⲱⲕ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲁⲣⲭⲓⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲉⲗ ⲡⲉϥⲙⲁϣϫ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩ⳿ⲓⲛⲁⲙ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ.
51 But Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye [them] thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.
ⲛ̅ⲁ̅ⲁϥⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲕⲏⲛ ϣⲁ ⳿ⲙⲛⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥϭⲟϩ ⳿ⲉⲡⲉϥⲙⲁϣϫ ⲁϥⲧⲁⲗϭⲟϥ.
52 And Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and elders, that were come against him, Are ye come out, as against a robber, with swords and staves?
ⲛ̅ⲃ̅ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛⲛⲏ ⲧⲁⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲛⲥⲱϥ ⲛⲓⲁⲣⲭⲓⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲥⲁⲧⲏⲅⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲉⲣⲫⲉⲓ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓ⳿ⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲧⲁⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲣⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲥⲁ ⲟⲩⲥⲟⲛⲓ ⲉⲙ ϩⲁⲛ⳿ϣⲃⲟϯ.
53 When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched not forth your hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.
ⲛ̅ⲅ̅ⲉⲓⲭⲏ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲉⲣⲫⲉⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲏ ⲓⲛⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲥⲟⲩⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲛϫⲓϫ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϫⲱⲓ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲑⲁⲓ ⲧⲉ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩ ⲉⲙ ⳿ⲡⲉⲣϣⲓϣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⳿ⲡⲭⲁⲕⲓ.
54 And they seized him, and led him [away], and brought him into the high priest’s house. But Peter followed afar off.
ⲛ̅ⲇ̅ⲉⲧⲁⲩ⳿ⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲁⲩ⳿ⲉⲛϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩϭⲓⲧϥ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡⲏⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲁⲣⲭⲓⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥⲙⲟϣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲥⲱϥ ⲓⲫⲟⲩⲉⲓ.
55 And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the court, and had sat down together, Peter sat in the midst of them.
ⲛ̅ⲉ̅ⲉⲧⲁⲩϭⲉⲣⲉ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲭⲣⲱⲙ ⲇⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲑⲙⲏϯ ⳿ⲛϯⲁⲩⲗⲏ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁⲩϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ⲛⲁⲣⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ϩⲱϥ ϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲟⲩⲙⲏϯ.
56 And a certain maid seeing him as he sat in the light [of the fire], and looking stedfastly upon him, said, This man also was with him.
ⲛ̅ⲋ̅ⲧⲁⲥⲛⲁⲩ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲁⲗⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲃⲱⲕⲓ ⲉϥϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ϧⲁⲧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲱⲓⲛⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁⲥⲥⲟⲙⲥ ⲡⲉϫⲁⲥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲁⲣⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ϩⲱϥ ⲭⲏ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ.
57 But he denied, saying, Woman, I know him not.
ⲛ̅ⲍ̅ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲁϥϫⲱⲗ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ϯⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲁⲛ ϯ⳿ⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ.
58 And after a little while another saw him, and said, Thou also art [one] of them. But Peter said, Man, I am not.
ⲛ̅ⲏ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁ ⲕⲉⲕⲟⲩϫⲓ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ϩⲱⲕ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲫⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ.
59 And after the space of about one hour another confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this man also was with him; for he is a Galilæan.
ⲛ̅ⲑ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁ ⳿ⲫⲟⲩⲱϣ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲟⲩⲛⲟⲩ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲁⲣⲉ ⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲧⲁϫⲣⲟ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲡⲉ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲛⲁⲣⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ ϩⲱϥ ⲭⲏ ⲛⲉⲙⲁϥ ⲕⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲟⲩⲅⲁⲗⲓⲗⲉⲟⲥ ⲡⲉ.
60 But Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the cock crew.
ⲝ̅ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲫⲣⲱⲙⲓ ϯ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ⲁⲛ ⳿ⲉⲡⲉⲧⲉⲕϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲁⲧⲟⲧϥ ⲉⲧⲓ ⲉϥⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲁ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲁⲗⲉⲕⲧⲱⲣ ⲙⲟⲩϯ.
61 And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how that he said unto him, Before the cock crow this day thou shalt deny me thrice.
ⲝ̅ⲁ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲫⲟⲛϩϥ ⲛϫⲉ Ⲡ⳪ ⲁϥⲥⲟⲙⲥ ⳿ⲉⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲉⲣ⳿ⲫⲙⲉⲩⲓ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡⲥⲁϫⲓ ⳿ⲙⲠ⳪ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⲉⲧⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲧⲉ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲁⲗⲉⲕⲧⲱⲣ ⲙⲟⲩϯ ⳿ⲙⲫⲟⲟⲩ ⲭⲛⲁϫⲟⲗⲧ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛⲅ̅ ⳿ⲛⲥⲟⲡ.
62 And he went out, and wept bitterly.
ⲝ̅ⲃ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁϥ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁϥⲣⲓⲙⲓ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩ⳿ⲛϣⲁϣⲓ.
63 And the men that held [Jesus] mocked him, and beat him.
ⲝ̅ⲅ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁⲩ⳿ⲁⲙⲟⲛⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲛⲁⲩⲥⲱⲃⲓ ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲩϩⲓⲟⲩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ.
64 And they blindfolded him, and asked him, saying, Prophesy: who is he that struck thee?
ⲝ̅ⲇ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁⲩϩⲟⲃⲥϥ ⲛⲁⲩϣⲓⲛⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲣⲓ⳿ⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲉⲩⲓⲛ ⲛⲁⲛ ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ⲡⲉⲧⲁϥϩⲓⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⲉⲣⲟⲕ.
65 And many other things spake they against him, reviling him.
ⲝ̅ⲉ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϩⲁⲛⲕⲉⲙⲏϣ ⲛⲁⲩϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲉⲩϫⲉⲟⲩ⳿ⲁ.
66 And as soon as it was day, the assembly of the elders of the people was gathered together, both chief priests and scribes; and they led him away into their council, saying,
ⲝ̅ⲋ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲧⲁ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲁⲩⲑⲱⲟⲩϯ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲓ⳿ⲡⲣⲉⲥⲃⲩⲧⲉⲣⲟⲥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲗⲁⲟⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲁⲣⲭⲓⲉⲣⲉⲩⲥ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲛⲓⲥⲁϧ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁⲩ⳿ⲉⲛϥ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉⲡⲟⲩⲙⲁ⳿ⲛϯϩⲁⲡ.
67 If thou art the Christ, tell us. But he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe:
ⲝ̅ⲍ̅ⲉⲩϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲓⲥϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲉ Ⲡⲭ̅ⲥ̅ ⳿ⲁϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲛ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲁⲓϣⲁⲛϫⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲛⲁϩϯ ⲁⲛ.
68 and if I ask [you], ye will not answer.
ⲝ̅ⲏ̅ⲉϣⲱⲡ ⲇⲉ ⲟⲛ ⲁⲓϣⲁⲛϣⲉⲛ ⲑⲏⲛⲟⲩ ⲧⲉⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁⲉⲣⲟⲩⲱ ⲁⲛ.
69 But from henceforth shall the Son of man be seated at the right hand of the power of God.
ⲝ̅ⲑ̅ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ϯⲛⲟⲩ ⲉϥ⳿ⲉϣⲱⲡⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⳿ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲉϥϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ⲥⲁⲟⲩ⳿ⲓⲛⲁⲙ ⳿ⲛϯϫⲟⲙ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ.
70 And they all said, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am.
ⲟ̅ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲉ ⲏⲣⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟⲕ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲧⲉⲛ ⲉⲧϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲡⲉ.
71 And they said, What further need have we of witness? for we ourselves have heard from his own mouth.
ⲟ̅ⲁ̅⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲣ⳿ⲭⲣⲓⲁ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲁⲛⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϧⲉⲛ ⲣⲱϥ
