Job 24
1 Why are times not laid up by the Almighty? And why do not they that know him see his days?
“ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತರು ತೀರ್ಪಿನ ಕಾಲವನ್ನು ನಿಗದಿಪಡಿಸದೆ ಇರುವುದೇಕೆ? ದೇವರನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದವರು ದೇವರ ದಿನಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ನೋಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಏಕೆ?
2 There are that remove the landmarks; They violently take away flocks, and feed them.
ಕೆಲವರು ಗಡಿಗಳ ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಬದಲಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಕದ್ದ ಮಂದೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಸಾಕಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
3 They drive away the ass of the fatherless; They take the widow’s ox for a pledge.
ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದವರ ಕತ್ತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ; ವಿಧವೆಯ ಎತ್ತನ್ನು ಒತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
4 They turn the needy out of the way: The poor of the earth all hide themselves.
ದರಿದ್ರನನ್ನು ದಾರಿಯಿಂದ ತೊಲಗಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ದೇಶದ ಬಡವರು ಕೂಡ ಅವರಿಂದ ಓಡಿ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
5 Behold, as wild asses in the desert They go forth to their work, seeking diligently for food; The wilderness [yieldeth] them bread for their children.
ಕಾಡುಕತ್ತೆಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಬಡವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಆಹಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅಲೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಪಾಳುಭೂಮಿಯಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೂ, ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಆಹಾರ ಸಿಗುತ್ತದೆ.
6 They cut their provender in the field; And they glean the vintage of the wicked.
ಬಡವರು ಹೊಲಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೇವನ್ನು ಕೊಯ್ದು, ದುಷ್ಟನ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಿತೋಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಕ್ಕಲಾಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.
7 They lie all night naked without clothing, And have no covering in the cold.
ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಬಟ್ಟೆ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರು ರಾತ್ರಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಚಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೊದ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಇಲ್ಲ.
8 They are wet with the showers of the mountains, And embrace the rock for want of a shelter.
ಬೆಟ್ಟಗಳ ಮಳೆಯಿಂದ ನೆನೆದುಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಬಂಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶ್ರಯವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ.
9 There are that pluck the fatherless from the breast, And take a pledge of the poor;
ಆದರೆ ದುಷ್ಟರು ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದ ಶಿಶುವನ್ನು ತಾಯಿಯ ಎದೆಯಿಂದ ಕಸೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಬಡವನ ಶಿಶುವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.
10 [So that] they go about naked without clothing, And being hungry they carry the sheaves.
ಬಡವರೋ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಬಟ್ಟೆಯಿಲ್ಲದವರಾಗಿ ಅಲೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಹಸಿದವರಾಗಿ ಸಿವುಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊರುತ್ತಾರೆ.
11 They make oil within the walls of these men; They tread [their] winepresses, and suffer thirst.
ಯಜಮಾನರ ಮಾಳಿಗೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಓಲಿವ್ ಎಣ್ಣೆಗಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಆಡಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ದಾಹಗೊಂಡೇ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೆಯ ತೊಟ್ಟಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
12 From out of the populous city men groan, And the soul of the wounded crieth out: Yet God regardeth not the folly.
ಪಟ್ಟಣದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ನರಳುವಿಕೆಯು ಜೋರಾಗುತ್ತದೆ; ಗಾಯಪಟ್ಟವರ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಸಹಾಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕೂಗುತ್ತದೆ; ಆದರೂ ದೇವರು ಯಾರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ತಪ್ಪು ಹೊರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
13 These are of them that rebel against the light; They know not the ways thereof, Nor abide in the paths thereof.
“ಬೆಳಕಿನ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿಬಿದ್ದವರು ಇದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅಂಥವರು ಬೆಳಕಿನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಅರಿಯದವರು; ಬೆಳಕಿನ ದಾರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರದವರೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
14 The murderer riseth with the light; He killeth the poor and needy; And in the night he is as a thief.
ಕೊಲೆಗಾರನು ಮುಂಜಾನೆಯೇ ಎದ್ದು, ದಿಕ್ಕಿಲ್ಲದವರನ್ನೂ, ಬಡವರನ್ನೂ ಸಂಹರಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳ್ಳನಂತೆ ವರ್ತಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.
15 The eye also of the adulterer waiteth for the twilight, Saying, No eye shall see me: And he disguiseth his face.
ವ್ಯಭಿಚಾರಿಯು ಸಂಜೆಯನ್ನು ಎದುರುನೋಡುತ್ತಿರುವನು. ತರುವಾಯ, ‘ಯಾವ ಕಣ್ಣೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೋಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ,’ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಯಾರು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಣದಂತೆ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
16 In the dark they dig through houses: They shut themselves up in the day-time; They know not the light.
ಕಳ್ಳರು ಕತ್ತಲಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನ ಕೊರೆದು ಮನೆಗಳೊಳಗೆ ನುಗ್ಗುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಹಗಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅವರು ಬೆಳಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಏನೂ ಮಾಡಲು ಬಯಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
17 For the morning is to all of them as thick darkness; For they know the terrors of the thick darkness.
ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಕಾರ್ಗತ್ತಲು ಬೆಳಕಿನಂತಿರುವುದು; ಕತ್ತಲೆಯ ಭೀತಿಯೇ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತರು.
18 Swiftly they [pass away] upon the face of the waters; Their portion is cursed in the earth: They turn not into the way of the vineyards.
“ಆದರೂ ಅವರು ನೀರಿನ ಮೇಲಿನ ಗುಳ್ಳೆಯಂತೆ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರ ಜಮೀನು ಶಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಪಟ್ಟಿರುವುದರಿಂದ, ಯಾರೂ ಅವರ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೆಯ ತೋಟಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
19 Drought and heat consume the snow waters: [So doth] Sheol [those that] have sinned. (Sheol h7585)
ಬರಗಾಲದ ಬಿಸಿಲು ಹಿಮದ ನೀರನ್ನು ಹೀರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ, ಪಾಪಮಾಡಿದವರನ್ನು ಸಮಾಧಿಯು ಹೀರಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತದೆ. (Sheol h7585)
20 The womb shall forget him; The worm shall feed sweetly on him; He shall be no more remembered; And unrighteousness shall be broken as a tree.
ಹೆತ್ತ ಕರುಳು ಅಂಥವರನ್ನು ಮರೆತು ಬಿಡುವುದು; ಹುಳವು ಅಂಥವರ ಹೆಣವನ್ನು ರುಚಿಯಿಂದ ತಿಂದುಬಿಡುವುದು; ಇನ್ನು ಅವರ ನೆನಪು ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ; ಮರದ ಹಾಗೆ ದುಷ್ಟರು ಮುರಿದುಹೋಗುವರು.
21 He devoureth the barren that beareth not, And doeth not good to the widow.
ದುಷ್ಟರು ಆಸ್ತಿಯ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂಜೆಯರನ್ನು ಮೋಸಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ದುಷ್ಟರು ವಿಧವೆಯರಿಗೆ ದಯೆ ತೋರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
22 Yet [God] preserveth the mighty by his power: He riseth up that hath no assurance of life.
ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರನ್ನು ಎಳೆದೊಯ್ಯುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರು ಉದ್ಧಾರವಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಜೀವನದ ಭರವಸೆ ಇಲ್ಲ.
23 [God] giveth them to be in security, and they rest thereon; And his eyes are upon their ways.
ಭದ್ರತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿ ಪಡೆಯಲು ದೇವರು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ನೀಡಬಹುದು; ಆದರೆ ದೇವರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳ ಮೇಲಿರುವುದು.
24 They are exalted; yet a little while, and they are gone; Yea, they are brought low, they are taken out of the way as all others, And are cut off as the tops of the ears of grain.
ಅವರು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪಕಾಲ ಉನ್ನತವಾಗಿದ್ದು ನಂತರ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಂತೆ ಕೊಯ್ದ ತೆನೆಯ ಹಾಗೆ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಕಾಳಿನಂತೆ ಬೇರ್ಪಡುತ್ತಾರೆ.
25 And if it be not so now, who will prove me a liar, And make my speech nothing worth?
“ಈ ಮಾತು ನಿಜ ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ, ಯಾರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸುಳ್ಳುಗಾರನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಬಲ್ಲರು? ಯಾರು ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ವ್ಯರ್ಥಮಾಡಬಲ್ಲರು?”
