< Jeremiah 25 >
1 The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah (the same was the first year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon),
Daytoy ti sao nga immay kenni Jeremias maipapan kadagiti amin a tattao iti Juda. Napasamak daytoy iti maikapat a tawen ni Jehoyakim a putot ni Josias, nga ari iti Juda. Dayta ti umuna a tawen ni Nebucadnezar nga ari iti Babilonia.
2 which Jeremiah the prophet spake unto all the people of Judah, and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying:
Inwaragawag ni profeta Jeremias kadagiti amin a tattao iti Juda ken kadagiti amin nga agnanaed iti Jerusalem.
3 From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, even unto this day, these three and twenty years, the word of Jehovah hath come unto me, and I have spoken unto you, rising up early and speaking; but ye have not hearkened.
Kinunana, “Iti duapulo ket tallo a tawen, manipud iti maikasangapulo ket tallo a tawen ni Josias a putot ni Amon, nga ari ti Juda agingga iti daytoy nga aldaw, um-umayen kaniak dagiti sasao ni Yahweh. Inwarwaragawagkon dagitoy kadakayo. Sigagagarak a nangiwaragawag kadakayo, ngem saankayo a dimngeg.
4 And Jehovah hath sent unto you all his servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, (but ye have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear),
Imbaon kadakayo ni Yahweh dagiti amin nga adipenna a profeta. Sigagagarda a napan, ngem saankayo a dimngeg wenno nangipangag.
5 saying, Return ye now every one from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that Jehovah hath given unto you and to your fathers, from of old and even for evermore;
Kinuna dagitoy a profeta, “Pagtallikudan koma ti tunggal tao dagiti nadangkes a wagasna ken ti kinadakes dagiti aramidna ket agsublikayo iti daga nga inted ni Yahweh kadagiti kapuonanyo ken kadakayo idi pay un-unana a tiempo, a kas agnanayon a sagut.
6 and go not after other gods to serve them, and to worship them, and provoke me not to anger with the work of your hands; and I will do you no hurt.
Isu a saanyo a kamaten dagiti didiosen tapno agdayawkayo wenno agruknoykayo kadakuada, ken saanyo a pagpungtoten isuna gapu kadagiti aramid dagiti imayo a pakaigappuanto a dangrannakayo.”
7 Yet ye have not hearkened unto me, saith Jehovah; that ye may provoke me to anger with the work of your hands to your own hurt.
Ngem saankayo a dimngeg kaniak—kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh—ngarud pinagpungtotdak gapu iti aramid dagiti imayo tapno dangrankayo.
8 Therefore thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Because ye have not heard my words,
Isu a, kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin, 'Gapu ta saankayo a dimngeg kadagiti sasaok,
9 behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, saith Jehovah, and [I will send] unto Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all these nations round about; and I will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, and a hissing, and perpetual desolations.
kitaenyo, dandaniakon mangipatulod iti maysa a bilin tapno maurnong dagiti amin a tattao iti amianan—kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh— kenni Nebucadnesar nga adipenko, nga ari ti Babilonia, ket iyegko ida a maibusor iti daytoy a daga ken kadagiti amin nga agnanaed iti daytoy, ken maibusor kadagiti amin a nasion iti aglawlawyo. Ta ilasinkonto ida para iti pannakadadael. Pagbalinekkto ida a pakaigappuan iti panagbuteng, maysa a banag a saksakuntipan, ken awan patinggana a langalang.
10 Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the lamp.
Dagiti uni iti rag-o ken panagrambak—dagiti timek ti nobyo ken nobya, ti uni dagiti bato a paggilingan ken ti lawag dagiti pagsilawan—pukawekto amin dagitoy a banbanag manipud kadagitoy a nasion.
11 And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.
Ket agbalinto amin dagitoy a daga a langalang ken nakabutbuteng, ket agserbinto dagitoy a nasion iti ari ti Babilonia iti pitopulo a tawen.
12 And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, saith Jehovah, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans; and I will make it desolate for ever.
Ket mapasamakto inton malpas ti pitopulo a tawen, a dusaekto ti ari ti Babilonia ken dayta a nasion, ti daga dagiti Caldeo—kastoy ti pakaammo ni Yahweh—gapu iti kinadakesda ket pagbalinekto daytoy nga awan patinggana a langalang.
13 And I will bring upon that land all my words which I have pronounced against it, even all that is written in this book, which Jeremiah hath prophesied against all the nations.
Ket ipatungpalkonto a maibusor iti dayta a daga dagiti amin a sasao nga imbagak, ken amin a banbanag a naisurat iti daytoy a libro nga impadto ni Jeremias a maibusor iti amin a nasion.
14 For many nations and great kings shall make bondmen of them, even of them; and I will recompense them according to their deeds, and according to the work of their hands.
Ta adu pay a dadduma a nasion ken nabibileg nga ari ti mangtagabunto kadagitoy a nasion. Supapakakto ida segun kadagiti ar-aramidda ken kadagiti gappuanan dagiti imada.”
15 For thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel, unto me: Take this cup of the wine of wrath at my hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send thee, to drink it.
Ta kastoy ti kinuna kaniak ni Yahweh, a Dios ti Israel, “Alaem daytoy a kopa ti arak ti pungtot manipud iti imak ket ipainummo daytoy kadagiti amin a nasion a pangibaonak kenka.
16 And they shall drink, and reel to and fro, and be mad, because of the sword that I will send among them.
Ta uminundanto ket kalpasanna maitublakda ket umkisda a simamauyong iti sangoanan ti kampilan nga ibabaonko kadakuada,”
17 Then took I the cup at Jehovah’s hand, and made all the nations to drink, unto whom Jehovah had sent me:
Innalak ngarud ti kopa manipud iti ima ni Yahweh, ket pinainumko iti daytoy dagiti amin a nasion a nangibaonan kaniak ni Yahweh—
18 [to wit], Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and the kings thereof, and the princes thereof, to make them a desolation, an astonishment, a hissing, and a curse, as it is this day;
Ti Jerusalem, ti siudad ti Juda ken dagiti ari ken opisialna—tapno madadael dagitoy ken agbalin a maysa a banag a nakabutbuteng, ken maysa a banag a saksakuntipan ken maaramat iti panangilunod, a kas iti daytoy agdama nga aldaw.
19 Pharaoh king of Egypt, and his servants, and his princes, and all his people;
Masapul nga inumem met daytoy dagiti dadduma a nasion. Ni Faraon nga ari iti Egipto ken dagiti adipenna, dagiti opisialna ken dagiti amin a tattaona;
20 and all the mingled people, and all the kings of the land of Uz, and all the kings of the Philistines, and Ashkelon, and Gaza, and Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod;
dagiti amin a ganggannaet a tattao ken amin dagiti -ari iti daga ti Uz, dagiti amin nga ari iti daga ti Filistia—Askelon, Gaza, Ekron, ken dagiti nabatbati pay a tattao iti Asdod;
21 Edom, and Moab, and the children of Ammon;
Edom ken Moab ken dagiti tattao ti Ammon;
22 and all the kings of Tyre, and all the kings of Sidon, and the kings of the isle which is beyond the sea;
dagiti ar-ari ti Tyre ken Sidon; dagiti ari kadagiti dagdaga iti ballasiw ti baybay;
23 Dedan, and Tema, and Buz, and all that have the corners [of their hair] cut off;
Iti Dedan, Tema, ken Buz ken dagiti amin a nangpukis iti buokda kadagiti sikigan ti uloda.
24 and all the kings of Arabia, and all the kings of the mingled people that dwell in the wilderness;
Masapul nga uminom met iti daytoy dagitoy a tattao; dagiti amin nga ar-ari ti Arabia ken dagiti amin nga ar-ari dagiti ganggannaet a tattao nga agnanaed idiay let-ang;
25 and all the kings of Zimri, and all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of the Medes;
dagiti amin nga ari ti Zimri, dagiti amin nga ari ti Elam, ken dagiti amin nga ari dagiti Medes;
26 and all the kings of the north, far and near, one with another; and all the kingdoms of the world, which are upon the face of the earth: and the king of Sheshach shall drink after them.
dagiti amin nga ari iti amianan, dagiti adayo ken dagiti asideg, tunggal maysa a kadduana ti kabsatna ken dagiti amin a pagarian iti lubong nga adda iti rabaw ti daga. Kamaudiananna, uminomto ti ari ti Babilonia kalpasan nga uminom amin dagitoy.
27 And thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Drink ye, and be drunken, and spew, and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you.
Kinuna ni Yahweh kaniak, “Ita masapul nga ibagam kadakuada, 'Ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin, a Dios ti Israel, kastoy ti kunana: Uminomkayo ket agbartekkayo, ket agsarwakayo, matumbakayo, ket saankayo a bumangon iti sangoanan ti kampilan nga imbaonko kadakayo.'
28 And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at thy hand to drink, then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith Jehovah of hosts: Ye shall surely drink.
Ket mapasamakto a no agkedkedda a mangala iti kopa manipud iti imam tapno uminomda, ibagamto kadakuada, 'Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin; masapul nga uminomkayo iti daytoy.
29 For, lo, I begin to work evil at the city which is called by my name; and should ye be utterly unpunished? Ye shall not be unpunished; for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, saith Jehovah of hosts.
Ta kitaenyo, dandaniakon mangiyeg iti didigra iti siudad a naawagan babaen iti naganko, ken rumbeng kadi a dakayo a mismo ket saan a madusa? Saankayonto a nawaya, ta mangay-ayabak iti kampilan a maibusor iti amin nga agnanaed iti daga! —kastoy iti pakaammo ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin”
30 Therefore prophesy thou against them all these words, and say unto them, Jehovah will roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he will mightily roar against his fold; he will give a shout, as they that tread [the grapes], against all the inhabitants of the earth.
Isu a sika a mismo, Jeremias, masapul nga ipadtom kadakuada amin dagitoy a sasao. Masapul a kunaem kadakuada, 'Agngerngernger ni Yahweh manipud iti nangato ken ipigpigsana ti timekna manipud iti lugar a nailasin a pagnanaedanna. Agungor isuna a maibusor iti lugarna a pagtaenganna; agpukpukkaw isuna a maibusor kadagiti amin nga agnanaed iti daga, kas iti panagkanta dagiti tattao no agpespesda kadagiti ubas.
31 A noise shall come even to the end of the earth; for Jehovah hath a controversy with the nations; he will enter into judgment with all flesh: as for the wicked, he will give them to the sword, saith Jehovah.
Adda ariwawa a dumteng kadagiti pungto ti daga, ta ti maysa a susik manipud kenni Yahweh ket mangiyeg iti maysa a darum a maibusor kadagiti nasion. Ipatungpalnanto ti hustisia kadagiti amin a lasag. Iyawatnanto ti nadangkes iti kampilan—kastoy ti pakaammmo ni Yahweh.'
32 Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great tempest shall be raised up from the uttermost parts of the earth.
Kastoy ti kuna ni Yahweh a Mannakabalin-amin, 'Kitaenyo, sumangbayto ti didigra kadagiti nasion, ket mangrugi ti napigsa a bagio manipud iti adayu a paset ti daga.
33 And the slain of Jehovah shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the face of the ground.
Ket dagiti pinapatay ni Yahweh iti dayta nga aldaw ket mangrugi iti pungto ti daga agingga iti sabali a pungto ti daga, saandanto a madung-awan, maurnong, wenno maipunpon. Kasladanto takki ti ayup iti daga.
34 Wail, ye shepherds, and cry; and wallow [in ashes], ye principal of the flock; for the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions are fully come, and ye shall fall like a goodly vessel.
Agdung-awkayo, dakayo nga agpaspastor, ken agpukkawkayo a dumawat iti tulong! Agtulidkayo iti daga, dakayo a natan-ok a tattao iti arban. Ta dimtengen ti aldaw a pannakapapatay ken pannakaiwarawarayo. Matnagkayonto a kas iti napili a kalakian a karnero.
35 And the shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the principal of the flock to escape.
Awanen dagiti pagkamangan dagiti agpaspastor. Saan a makalisi dagiti natan-ok a tattao iti arban.
36 A voice of the cry of the shepherds, and the wailing of the principal of the flock! for Jehovah layeth waste their pasture.
Adda dagiti nasaem a panagsangit dagiti agpaspastor ken panagdung-aw dagiti natan-ok a tattao iti arban, ta daddadaelen ni Yahweh daggiti pagpaarabanda.
37 And the peaceable folds are brought to silence because of the fierce anger of Jehovah.
Isu a madadaelto dagiti natalna a pagpaaraban gapu iti nakaru a pungtot ni Yahweh.
38 He hath left his covert, as the lion; for their land is become an astonishment because of the fierceness of the oppressing [sword], and because of his fierce anger.
Kasla iti maysa nga urbon a leon, a panawanna ti rukibna, ta agbalinto a nakabutbuteng ti dagada gapu iti naulpit nga ungetna, gapu iti nakaru a pungtotna.”
