Ephesians 1
1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus through the will of God, to the saints that are at Ephesus, and the faithful in Christ Jesus:
ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਯੇੱਛਯਾ ਯੀਸ਼ੁਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਸ੍ਯ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਿਤਃ ਪੌਲ ਇਫਿਸ਼਼ਨਗਰਸ੍ਥਾਨ੍ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਾਨ੍ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਯੀਸ਼ੌ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਾਸਿਨੋ ਲੋਕਾਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਪਤ੍ਰੰ ਲਿਖਤਿ|
2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
ਅਸ੍ਮਾਕੰ ਤਾਤਸ੍ਯੇਸ਼੍ਵਰਸ੍ਯ ਪ੍ਰਭੋ ਰ੍ਯੀਸ਼ੁਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਸ੍ਯ ਚਾਨੁਗ੍ਰਹਃ ਸ਼ਾਨ੍ਤਿਸ਼੍ਚ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਸੁ ਵਰ੍ੱਤਤਾਂ|
3 Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly [places] in Christ:
ਅਸ੍ਮਾਕੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੋ ਰ੍ਯੀਸ਼ੋਃ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਸ੍ਯ ਤਾਤ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰੋ ਧਨ੍ਯੋ ਭਵਤੁ; ਯਤਃ ਸ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟੇਨਾਸ੍ਮਭ੍ਯੰ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਮ੍ ਆਧ੍ਯਾਤ੍ਮਿਕੰ ਸ੍ਵਰ੍ਗੀਯਵਰੰ ਦੱਤਵਾਨ੍|
4 even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blemish before him in love:
ਵਯੰ ਯਤ੍ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਸਮਕ੍ਸ਼਼ੰ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ੍ਨਾ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਾ ਨਿਸ਼਼੍ਕਲਙ੍ਕਾਸ਼੍ਚ ਭਵਾਮਸ੍ਤਦਰ੍ਥੰ ਸ ਜਗਤਃ ਸ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼਼੍ਟੇ ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵੰ ਤੇਨਾਸ੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਅਭਿਰੋਚਿਤਵਾਨ੍, ਨਿਜਾਭਿਲਸ਼਼ਿਤਾਨੁਰੋਧਾੱਚ
5 having foreordained us unto adoption as sons through Jesus Christ unto himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
ਯੀਸ਼ੁਨਾ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟੇਨ ਸ੍ਵਸ੍ਯ ਨਿਮਿੱਤੰ ਪੁਤ੍ਰਤ੍ਵਪਦੇ(ਅ)ਸ੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਸ੍ਵਕੀਯਾਨੁਗ੍ਰਹਸ੍ਯ ਮਹੱਤ੍ਵਸ੍ਯ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਾਰ੍ਥੰ ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵੰ ਨਿਯੁਕ੍ਤਵਾਨ੍|
6 to the praise of the glory of his grace, which he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved:
ਤਸ੍ਮਾਦ੍ ਅਨੁਗ੍ਰਹਾਤ੍ ਸ ਯੇਨ ਪ੍ਰਿਯਤਮੇਨ ਪੁਤ੍ਰੇਣਾਸ੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਅਨੁਗ੍ਰੁʼਹੀਤਵਾਨ੍,
7 in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,
ਵਯੰ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਸ਼ੋਣਿਤੇਨ ਮੁਕ੍ਤਿਮ੍ ਅਰ੍ਥਤਃ ਪਾਪਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਮਾਂ ਲਬ੍ਧਵਨ੍ਤਃ|
8 which he made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence,
ਤਸ੍ਯ ਯ ਈਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ੋ(ਅ)ਨੁਗ੍ਰਹਨਿਧਿਸ੍ਤਸ੍ਮਾਤ੍ ਸੋ(ਅ)ਸ੍ਮਭ੍ਯੰ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਵਿਧੰ ਜ੍ਞਾਨੰ ਬੁੱਧਿਞ੍ਚ ਬਾਹੁਲ੍ਯਰੂਪੇਣ ਵਿਤਰਿਤਵਾਨ੍|
9 making known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him
ਸ੍ਵਰ੍ਗਪ੍ਰੁʼਥਿਵ੍ਯੋ ਰ੍ਯਦ੍ਯਦ੍ ਵਿਦ੍ਯਤੇ ਤਤ੍ਸਰ੍ੱਵੰ ਸ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟੇ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਹੀਸ਼਼੍ਯਤੀਤਿ ਹਿਤੈਸ਼਼ਿਣਾ
10 unto a dispensation of the fulness of the times, to sum up all things in Christ, the things in the heavens, and the things upon the earth; in him, [I say],
ਤੇਨ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤੋ ਯੋ ਮਨੋਰਥਃ ਸਮ੍ਪੂਰ੍ਣਤਾਂ ਗਤਵਤ੍ਸੁ ਸਮਯੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਸਾਧਯਿਤਵ੍ਯਸ੍ਤਮਧਿ ਸ ਸ੍ਵਕੀਯਾਭਿਲਾਸ਼਼ਸ੍ਯ ਨਿਗੂਢੰ ਭਾਵਮ੍ ਅਸ੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਜ੍ਞਾਪਿਤਵਾਨ੍|
11 in whom also we were made a heritage, having been foreordained according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his will;
ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵੰ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟੇ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਾਸਿਨੋ ਯੇ ਵਯਮ੍ ਅਸ੍ਮੱਤੋ ਯਤ੍ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਮਹਿਮ੍ਨਃ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਾ ਜਾਯਤੇ,
12 to the end that we should be unto the praise of his glory, we who had before hoped in Christ:
ਤਦਰ੍ਥੰ ਯਃ ਸ੍ਵਕੀਯੇੱਛਾਯਾਃ ਮਨ੍ਤ੍ਰਣਾਤਃ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਾਣਿ ਸਾਧਯਤਿ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਮਨੋਰਥਾਦ੍ ਵਯੰ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟੇਨ ਪੂਰ੍ੱਵੰ ਨਿਰੂਪਿਤਾਃ ਸਨ੍ਤੋ(ਅ)ਧਿਕਾਰਿਣੋ ਜਾਤਾਃ|
13 in whom ye also, having heard the word of the truth, the gospel of your salvation, —in whom, having also believed, ye were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise,
ਯੂਯਮਪਿ ਸਤ੍ਯੰ ਵਾਕ੍ਯਮ੍ ਅਰ੍ਥਤੋ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਤ੍ਪਰਿਤ੍ਰਾਣਸ੍ਯ ਸੁਸੰਵਾਦੰ ਨਿਸ਼ਮ੍ਯ ਤਸ੍ਮਿੰਨੇਵ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟੇ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਸਿਤਵਨ੍ਤਃ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਜ੍ਞਾਤੇਨ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰੇਣਾਤ੍ਮਨਾ ਮੁਦ੍ਰਯੇਵਾਙ੍ਕਿਤਾਸ਼੍ਚ|
14 which is an earnest of our inheritance, unto the redemption of [God’s] own possession, unto the praise of his glory.
ਯਤਸ੍ਤਸ੍ਯ ਮਹਿਮ੍ਨਃ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਾਯ ਤੇਨ ਕ੍ਰੀਤਾਨਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਨਾਂ ਮੁਕ੍ਤਿ ਰ੍ਯਾਵੰਨ ਭਵਿਸ਼਼੍ਯਤਿ ਤਾਵਤ੍ ਸ ਆਤ੍ਮਾਸ੍ਮਾਕਮ੍ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਿਤ੍ਵਸ੍ਯ ਸਤ੍ਯਙ੍ਕਾਰਸ੍ਯ ਪਣਸ੍ਵਰੂਪੋ ਭਵਤਿ|
15 For this cause I also, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which is among you, and the love which [ye show] toward all the saints,
ਪ੍ਰਭੌ ਯੀਸ਼ੌ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਾਸਃ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਲੋਕੇਸ਼਼ੁ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਚਾਸ੍ਤ ਇਤਿ ਵਾਰ੍ੱਤਾਂ ਸ਼੍ਰੁਤ੍ਵਾਹਮਪਿ
16 cease not to give thanks for you, making mention [of you] in my prayers;
ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨਧਿ ਨਿਰਨ੍ਤਰਮ੍ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰੰ ਧਨ੍ਯੰ ਵਦਨ੍ ਪ੍ਰਾਰ੍ਥਨਾਸਮਯੇ ਚ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਸ੍ਮਰਨ੍ ਵਰਮਿਮੰ ਯਾਚਾਮਿ|
17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him;
ਅਸ੍ਮਾਕੰ ਪ੍ਰਭੋ ਰ੍ਯੀਸ਼ੁਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟਸ੍ਯ ਤਾਤੋ ਯਃ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਾਕਰ ਈਸ਼੍ਵਰਃ ਸ ਸ੍ਵਕੀਯਤੱਤ੍ਵਜ੍ਞਾਨਾਯ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਭ੍ਯੰ ਜ੍ਞਾਨਜਨਕਮ੍ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਿਤਵਾਕ੍ਯਬੋਧਕਞ੍ਚਾਤ੍ਮਾਨੰ ਦੇਯਾਤ੍|
18 having the eyes of your heart enlightened, that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਕੰ ਜ੍ਞਾਨਚਕ੍ਸ਼਼ੂੰਸ਼਼ਿ ਚ ਦੀਪ੍ਤਿਯੁਕ੍ਤਾਨਿ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ ਤਸ੍ਯਾਹ੍ਵਾਨੰ ਕੀਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼੍ਯਾ ਪ੍ਰਤ੍ਯਾਸ਼ਯਾ ਸਮ੍ਬਲਿਤੰ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਲੋਕਾਨਾਂ ਮਧ੍ਯੇ ਤੇਨ ਦੱਤੋ(ਅ)ਧਿਕਾਰਃ ਕੀਦ੍ਰੁʼਸ਼ਃ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਨਿਧਿ ਰ੍ਵਿਸ਼੍ਵਾਸਿਸ਼਼ੁ ਚਾਸ੍ਮਾਸੁ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਮਾਨਸ੍ਯ
19 and what the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might
ਤਦੀਯਮਹਾਪਰਾਕ੍ਰਮਸ੍ਯ ਮਹਤ੍ਵੰ ਕੀਦ੍ਰੁʼਗ੍ ਅਨੁਪਮੰ ਤਤ੍ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੰ ਯੁਸ਼਼੍ਮਾਨ੍ ਜ੍ਞਾਪਯਤੁ|
20 which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly [places],
ਯਤਃ ਸ ਯਸ੍ਯਾਃ ਸ਼ਕ੍ਤੇਃ ਪ੍ਰਬਲਤਾਂ ਖ੍ਰੀਸ਼਼੍ਟੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ਯਨ੍ ਮ੍ਰੁʼਤਗਣਮਧ੍ਯਾਤ੍ ਤਮ੍ ਉੱਥਾਪਿਤਵਾਨ੍,
21 far above all rule, and authority, and power, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: (aiōn g165)
ਅਧਿਪਤਿਤ੍ਵਪਦੰ ਸ਼ਾਸਨਪਦੰ ਪਰਾਕ੍ਰਮੋ ਰਾਜਤ੍ਵਞ੍ਚੇਤਿਨਾਮਾਨਿ ਯਾਵਨ੍ਤਿ ਪਦਾਨੀਹ ਲੋਕੇ ਪਰਲੋਕੇ ਚ ਵਿਦ੍ਯਨ੍ਤੇ ਤੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇਸ਼਼ਾਮ੍ ਊਰ੍ੱਧ੍ਵੇ ਸ੍ਵਰ੍ਗੇ ਨਿਜਦਕ੍ਸ਼਼ਿਣਪਾਰ੍ਸ਼੍ਵੇ ਤਮ੍ ਉਪਵੇਸ਼ਿਤਵਾਨ੍, (aiōn g165)
22 and he put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things to the church,
ਸਰ੍ੱਵਾਣਿ ਤਸ੍ਯ ਚਰਣਯੋਰਧੋ ਨਿਹਿਤਵਾਨ੍ ਯਾ ਸਮਿਤਿਸ੍ਤਸ੍ਯ ਸ਼ਰੀਰੰ ਸਰ੍ੱਵਤ੍ਰ ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇਸ਼਼ਾਂ ਪੂਰਯਿਤੁਃ ਪੂਰਕਞ੍ਚ ਭਵਤਿ ਤੰ ਤਸ੍ਯਾ ਮੂਰ੍ੱਧਾਨੰ ਕ੍ਰੁʼਤ੍ਵਾ
23 which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
ਸਰ੍ੱਵੇਸ਼਼ਾਮ੍ ਉਪਰ੍ੱਯੁਪਰਿ ਨਿਯੁਕ੍ਤਵਾਂਸ਼੍ਚ ਸੈਵ ਸ਼ਕ੍ਤਿਰਸ੍ਮਾਸ੍ਵਪਿ ਤੇਨ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼੍ਯਤੇ|
