2 Corinthians 7
1 Having therefore these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
Palung ih ampuinawk, hae lokkamhaih a tawnh o pongah, taksa hoi poek ciim ai hmuennawk boih to ciimcai o sak si loe, Sithaw zithaih hoiah ciimcaihaih bangah akoep o si.
2 Open your hearts to us: we wronged no man, we corrupted no man, we took advantage of no man.
Kaicae han poekhaih palung to paong oh; kaicae loe mi kawbaktih kami nuiah doeh sethaih ka sah o ai, mi kawbaktih doeh kam ro o sak ai, mi kawbaktih doeh ka ling o ai.
3 I say it not to condemn [you]: for I have said before, that ye are in our hearts to die together and live together.
Nangcae lokcaek hanah hae lok hae ka thui ai: nangcae hoi nawnto hing moe, nawnto duek han khoek to kang palung o, tiah kang thuih o boeh.
4 Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying on your behalf: I am filled with comfort, I overflow with joy in all our affliction.
Nangcae nuiah paroeai amoekhaih ka tawnh, nangcae nuiah paroeai amoekhaih ka tawnh pongah, monghaih hoiah ka koi, congca raihaih ka tongh o naah doeh, paroeai anghoehaih ka tawnh.
5 For even when we were come into Macedonia our flesh had no relief, but [we were] afflicted on every side; without [were] fightings, within [were] fears.
Macedonia prae ah kang zoh o naah, kaicae takpum anghakhaih om ai, ahmuen kruekah raihaih ka tong o; tasa bangah misa angtukhaih oh moe, palung thungah zithaih to oh.
6 Nevertheless he that comforteth the lowly, [even] God, comforted us by the coming of Titus;
Toe Titu angzohhaih rang hoiah, palungboeng kaminawk monghaih paekkung Sithaw mah monghaih to ang paek.
7 and not by his coming only, but also by the comfort wherewith he was comforted in you, while he told us your longing, your mourning, your zeal for me; so that I rejoiced yet more.
Titu angzoh pongah oephaih ka tawn o khue ai ah, anih na bomh o haih, kai hnuk han na koeh o haih, kai palung nang set o haih hoi kai nang mawn o haih loknawk to anih mah ang thuih pongah, anghoehaih ka tawnh aep.
8 For though I made you sorry with my epistle, I do not regret it: though I did regret [it] (for I see that that epistle made you sorry, though but for a season),
Ka capat mah nangcae palungsaesak doeh om tih, hmaloe ah loe dawnpakhuemhaih ka tawnh; toe vaihi loe dawnpakhuemhaih ka tawn ai boeh: nawnetta thung capat mah nangcae palung ang set o sak, tiah ka panoek.
9 I now rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye were made sorry unto repentance; for ye were made sorry after a godly sort, that ye might suffer loss by us in nothing.
Palung kang set o sak pongah, anghoehaih ka tawnh tih haih ih na ai ni, toe dawnpakhuemhaih tawnh thai hanah palung na set o pongah ni kang hoe: ka sak o ih hmuen mah nangcae ih atho to zoksak han ai ah, Sithaw koehhaih baktiah ni palung kang set o sak.
10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance unto salvation, [a repentance] which bringeth no regret: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
Sithaw bangah palungsethaih mah loe dawnpakhuem rumram ih na ai ah, amkhrai thai ai pahlonghaih omsak, tangtang dawnpakhuemhaih to tacawtsak; toe long bang ih palungsethaih mah loe duekhaih to oh sak.
11 For behold, this selfsame thing, that ye were made sorry after a godly sort, what earnest care it wrought in you, yea what clearing of yourselves, yea what indignation, yea what fear, yea what longing, yea what zeal, yea what avenging! In everything ye approved yourselves to be pure in the matter.
Sithaw bang ih palungsethaih mah loe, kawbaktih nangcae zaehaih maw ohsak, ue, kawbaktih palungphuihaih maw ciimsak, ue, kawbaktih zithaih, ue, kawbaktih sak koehhaih, ue, kawbaktih tha pathokhaih, ue, kawbaktih lokcaekhaih maw ohsak, tito khen oh! Nangcae loe hae hmuennawk boih ah zaehaih na tawn o ai, tito amtueng boeh.
12 So although I wrote unto you, [I wrote] not for his cause that did the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered the wrong, but that your earnest care for us might be made manifest unto you in the sight of God.
To pongah, nangcae khaeah ca ka tarik naah, sakpazaehaih tawn kami hoi zaehaih sah kami to khet moe, tarik ih na ai ni, Sithaw hmaa ah nangcae kang khetzawnhaih amtueng thai han ih ni ka tarik.
13 Therefore we have been comforted: and in our comfort we joyed the more exceedingly for the joy of Titus, because his spirit hath been refreshed by you all.
To pongah nangcae monghaih rang hoiah kaicae doeh monghaih ka tawnh o toeng: ue, anih mawnhaih tawnh han ai ah tha na paek o pongah, Titu anghoehaih mah kaicae anghoehaih oh sak aep.
14 For if in anything I have gloried to him on your behalf, I was not put to shame; but as we spake all things to you in truth, so our glorying also which I made before Titus was found to be truth.
Anih khaeah nangcae amoekhaih lok ka thuih cadoeh, ka zat ai; hmuennawk boih ah loktang lok kang thuih o pongah, Titu khaeah ka thuih ih nangcae amoek haih lok doeh tangtang ni, tiah amtueng.
15 And his affection is more abundantly toward you, while he remembereth the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling ye received him.
Anih to na talawk o moe, tasoehhaih hoi zithaih hoiah anih ih lok to na tahngaih pae o, tiah Titu mah panoek naah, nangcae nuiah a tawnh ih anih amlunghaih to sang aep aep.
16 I rejoice that in everything I am of good courage concerning you.
Hmuennawk boih ah nangcae nuiah oephaih ka tawnh pongah, anghoehaih hoiah ka oh boeh.
