< Romans 11 >

1 I ask then, did God reject his people? May it never be! For I also am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
Lino ndepushungeti, “Sena Lesa walataya bantu bakendi?” Sobwe, nkacela kwinshika pakwinga ne njame nde mu Islayeli, umo wa bashikulu ba Abulahamu, kayi wamukowa wa Benjamini.
2 God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. Or do not you know what the Scripture says about Elijah? How he pleads with God against Israel:
Lesa nkalabakana bantu bakendi abo mbwalasala kaindi. Mucinsheti mu Mabala muli maswi ayo mushinshimi Eliya ngalikudandaulila Lesa eti ababoneshe bukalu bwakendi Baislayeli? Pakwinga walambeti,
3 “Lord, they have killed your prophets. They have broken down your altars. I am left alone, and they seek my life.”
“Mwami, bantu aba balashina bashinshimi benu ne kuwisha nteme shenu. Ndashala ndenka, lino nenjame balandanga kunshina”
4 But how does God answer him? “I have reserved for myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”
Lino Lesa walamukumbula aconi? Walambeti, “Ndalibikila bantu bakwana myanda makumi asanu ne abili abo batana bapaililapo Baala, lesa wabundengamano usa.”
5 Even so too at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
Lino encocibele ne cino cindi. Kulashala Baislayeli bang'ana abo Lesa mbwalasala mu kwina moyo kwakendi.
6 And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.
Neco, na walabasala mu kwina moyo kwakendi, lino nte pacebo ca bintu mbyobalensa. Necalaba mushobo uyo kwina moyo kwakendi ne kwalabula kuba kwinamoyo kwancinencine sobwe.
7 What then? That which Israel seeks for, that he did not obtain, but the chosen ones obtained it, and the rest were hardened.
Aconi lino? Baislayeli nkabalacanapo mbyobalikuyanda. Nsombi bantu bang'anowa abo Lesa mbwalasala ebalabicana. Bashala bonse balashinka matwi ku maswi a Lesa,
8 According as it is written, “God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear, to this very day.”
Mbuli Mabala ncakute kwambeti, “Lesa walabapa moyo wakuta nyumfwishisha bintu, nomba kushikila lino nkabakute kubona nambi kunyumfwa.”
9 David says, “Let their table be made a snare, a trap, a stumbling block, and a retribution to them.
Lino Dafeti ukute kwambeti, “malyalya abo abe kose ne liliba lyabo, kayi bawe panshi ne kupewa cisubulo.
10 Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see. Always keep their backs bent.”
Menso abo apofole kwambeti bacileke kubona, kayi misana yabo ikonkomane cindi conse mu mapensho abo.”
11 I ask then, did they stumble that they might fall? May it never be! But by their fall salvation has come to the Gentiles, to provoke them to jealousy.
Ndepushunga, “Sena Bayuda balalisuntula ne kuwila limo kwakubula kayi kupunduka?” Sobwe. Nsombi pacebo ca bwipishi bwabo lupulusho lwalashika kuli bantu ba mishobo naimbi, kwambeti Bayuda babenshile minyono.
12 Now if their fall is the riches of the world, and their loss the riches of the Gentiles, how much more their fullness!
Na bwipishi bwa Bayuda bwalaleta bwinishi bwingi ku bantu pacishi capanshi conse, neco kayi na kwalilwa kwabo kwalaleta bwinishi bwingi ku bantu ba mishobo naimbi. Nomba nikukabeconi Bayuda bonse beti bakapuluke bakasankana pamo ne bashoma bashobo naimbi, ekwambeti colwe nicikakonempe nditu.
13 For I speak to you who are Gentiles. Since then as I am an apostle to Gentiles, I glorify my ministry,
Lino ndambilinga njamwe mobakunsa. Pacebo cakwambeti ndalatumwa ku bantu bamishobo naimbi, neco, nkute kutwanga pancito iyi.
14 if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are my flesh, and may save some of them.
Kayi nkute kuyandeti ndibapeshe bufuba bantu bamushobo wakame, ne kupulushapo nabambi pali endibo.
15 For if the rejection of them is the reconciling of the world, what would their acceptance be, but life from the dead?
Nomba na bantu bapacishi conse capanshi bakabweshiwa kayi mu bwanse ne Lesa pacebo ca kubabika pambali Bayuda, nomba nicikabe aconi nendi akabatambula kayi? Nibakabeti bantu bafwa balapunduku kubafu.
16 If the first fruit is holy, so is the lump. If the root is holy, so are the branches.
Na muntu upa Lesa cimpansha ca shinkwa cakutanguna, ekwambeti shinkwa wonse niwa Lesa. Kayi na muntu upa Lesa muyanda wa citondo ekwambeti ne misampi yonse niya Lesa.
17 But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them and became partaker with them of the root and of the richness of the olive tree,
Amwe bantu bakunsa njamwe mulyeti misampi yacitondo cama olivi camucisuwa, mwanungwako ku citondo cabyalwa camaolivi. Nomba lino mulamanta musena wa misampi isa yalatimbulwako. Pacebo ici, mulatambulungonga ngofu sha mumiyanda ya citondo cakubyala ca maolifi, okwambeti cilyeti Bayuda.
18 do not boast over the branches. But if you boast, remember that it is not you who support the root, but the root supports you.
Weco mutabanyanshanga sobwe abo balakwempulwako mbuli misampi isa. Nomba ngamulitukumuna aconi? Amwe njamwe kamusampi owa. Ntamwe mwekata miyanda sobwe, nsombi miyanda endiyo yamwikatilila.
19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.”
Nomba amwe ngamwambeti, “Cakubinga misampi isa yalakwempulwa kwambeti banjikatanishepo ame.”
20 True; by their unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by your faith. Do not be conceited, but fear;
Cakubinga, nabo balakwempulwako pakwinga nkabalashoma, nomba amwe cebo cakushoma, lino nimwikale pabusena ubo, nsombi kamutatwangilapo, lino kamubani ne buyowa.
21 for if God did not spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you.
Lesa nkalabalekowa Bayuda abo balyeti misampi ya citondo yancinencine. Sena lino mulayeyengeti nakamuleke amwe?
22 See then the goodness and severity of God. Toward those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in his goodness; otherwise you also will be cut off.
Kamwinshibani kwambeti Lesa ni wankumbo, nsombi kayi nimukalu. Ku bantu abo balawa wakalala, nsombi kulinjamwe ukute inkumbo, na mupitilisha kwinsa bintu byela kuleta nkumbo shakendi. Namubula kwinseco nenjamwe nakamukwempule.
23 They also, if they do not continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.
Nomba na abo Bayuda basanduka nekutatika kushoma Klistu, nakabanungeko kucitondo. Pakwinga Lesa ukute ngofu shakubanungako kayi.
24 For if you were cut out of that which is by nature a wild olive tree, and were grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree, how much more will these, which are the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?
Nomba amwe bantu ba mishobo naimbi mulyeti misampi ya citondo ca ma olivi camucisuwa, Lesa walamukwempula kucitondo calamusema, nekumununga kucitondo ca ma olivi cakubyala. Lino na cilico, sena lino ngawalilwa kunungako ku citondo cama olivi cakubyala misampi iyo yalakwempulwa? Bayuda balyeti citondo ca maolifi cakubyala, neco capuba kwambeti Lesa ainungeko misampiyo kayi.
25 For I do not desire you to be ignorant, brothers, of this mystery, so that you will not be wise in your own conceits, that a partial hardening has happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in,
Nomba lino mobanse bame, pali casolekwa ncondayandangeti mucinshibe, kutineti ngamulibona kuba bamano, nicakwambeti kuyuma myoyo kwa Baislayeli nteti kukapitilile nsombi nikukapwe mpaka cindi cibelengelo ca bakunsa beti bakenshibe Lesa cikakwane.
26 and so all Israel will be saved. Even as it is written, “There will come out of Zion the Deliverer, and he will turn away ungodliness from Jacob.
Popelapo bonse Baislayeli nibakapuluke. Mbuli mabala ncalambangeti, “Mupulushi nakafumine ku Siyoni, nakafunye bwipishi bonse bwa bashikulu bendi Yakobo bonse.
27 This is my covenant with them, when I will take away their sins.”
Ninkapangane nabo cipangano copeleci ndakabafunyinapo bwipishi bwabo.”
28 Concerning the Good News, they are enemies for your sake. But concerning the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sake.
Pacebo cakukana Mulumbe Waina, Bayuda balaba balwani ba Lesa, kwambeti amwe bantu bamishobo naimbi mucaninepo bwinishi. Nsombi na Lesa walabasala, nabo nibansebendi basunika pacebo ca bamashali babo bakaindi.
29 For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.
Pakwinga Lesa nkakute kushinta mano na lakuwu muntu ne kumupa colwe.
30 For as you in time past were disobedient to God, but now have obtained mercy by their disobedience,
Kaindi amwe bamishobo naimbi nkamwali kumunyumfwila Lesa, nsombi lino Lesa lamwinshilinga inkumbo pacebo ca kutanyumfwa kwa Bayuda.
31 even so these also have now been disobedient, that by the mercy shown to you they may also obtain mercy.
Weco naboyo Bayuda nkabalanyumfwilinga Lesa pacino cindi, nsombi nipacebo cakwambeti naboyo bakatambule nkumbo sha Lesa pacindi cayandika, nkumbo nshomulatambulu.
32 For God has bound all to disobedience, in order to have mercy (eleēsē g1653) on all.
Pakwinga Lesa walasandula bantu bonse kuba basha cebo ca kutanyumfwa, kwambeti nendi abanyumfwile nkumbo bonse. (eleēsē g1653)
33 Oh the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past tracing out!
Buboni bwa lesa nibunene cikamba. Mano akendi nkakumu ne lwishibo lwakendi nkalwishibiki. Nomba niyani welela kunyumfwishisha kombolosha kwakendi? Kayi niyani welela kwishiba nshila shakendi?
34 “For who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counselor?”
Mbuli Mabala ncakute kwambeti, “Niyani welela kwinshiba miyeyo ya Lesa, niyani welela kumupa mano?”
35 “Or who has first given to him, and it will be repaid to him again?”
“Nomba niyani walamupapo kantu Lesa kwambeti nendi amubweshele kantu ako?”
36 For of him, and through him, and to him are all things. To him be the glory for the ages (aiōn g165)! Amen.
Pakwinga endiye walabilenga byonse, kayi byonse nibiyumi kupitila mungofu shakendi, Kayi mpobili cebo ca endiye. Bulemeneno bube bwakendi cindi conse. Amen. (aiōn g165)
