Revelation 7
1 After this, I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, so that no wind would blow on the earth, or on the sea, or on any tree.
Después de esto, vi a cuatro ángeles puestos en pie sobre los cuatro puntos [cardinales] de la tierra, los cuales detenían los cuatro vientos de la tierra para que no soplara viento sobre la tierra, ni sobre el mar, ni sobre algún árbol.
2 I saw another angel ascend from the sunrise, having the seal of the living God. He cried with a loud voice to the four angels to whom it was given to harm the earth and the sea,
Vi también a otro ángel que subía del nacimiento del sol. Tenía un sello del Dios viviente, y clamó a gran voz a los cuatro ángeles, a quienes se les encomendó dañar la tierra y el mar.
3 saying, “Do not harm the earth, the sea, or the trees, until we have sealed the bondservants of our God on their foreheads!”
Y ordenó: ¡No dañen la tierra ni el mar ni los árboles, hasta que sellemos en sus frentes a los esclavos de nuestro Dios!
4 I heard the number of those who were sealed, one hundred forty-four thousand, sealed out of every tribe of the children of Israel:
Escuché el número de los sellados: 144.000 sellados de toda tribu de [los] hijos de Israel.
5 of the tribe of Judah twelve thousand were sealed, of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand, of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand,
De [la] tribu de Judá 12.000 sellados, de [la] tribu de Rubén 12.000, de [la ]tribu de Gad 12.000,
6 of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand, of the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand, of the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand,
de [la ]tribu de Aser 12.000, de [la ]tribu de Neftalí 12.000, de [la ]tribu de Manasés 12.000,
7 of the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand, of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand, of the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand,
de [la ]tribu de Simeón 12.000, de [la ]tribu de Leví 12.000, de [la ]tribu de Isacar 12.000,
8 of the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand, of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand, and of the tribe of Benjamin twelve thousand were sealed.
de [la ]tribu de Zabulón 12.000, de [la ]tribu de José 12.000, de [la ]tribu de Benjamín 12.000 sellados.
9 After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no man could count, out of every nation and of all tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands.
Después de estas cosas miré, y ahí estaba una gran multitud de toda nación, tribus, pueblos y lenguas que nadie podía contar. Estaban delante del trono y del Cordero, vestidos con mantos blancos. [Tenían] palmas en sus manos y
10 They cried with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation be to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”
clamaban a gran voz: ¡La salvación sea [atribuida] a nuestro Dios, Quien está sentado en el trono, y al Cordero!
11 All the angels were standing around the throne, the elders, and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before his throne, and worshiped God,
Todos los ángeles que estaban en pie alrededor del trono, de los ancianos y de los cuatro seres vivientes cayeron sobre sus rostros delante del trono. Adoraron a Dios
12 saying, "Amen! Blessing, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and might, be to our God for the ages (aiōn g165) of the ages (aiōn g165)! Amen."
y decían: ¡Amén! ¡La bendición, la gloria, la sabiduría, la acción de gracias, el honor, el poder y la fortaleza sean [atribuidos] A nuestro Dios por los siglos de los siglos! Amén. (aiōn g165)
13 One of the elders answered, saying to me, “These who are arrayed in the white robes, who are they, and where did they come from?”
Entonces uno de los ancianos me preguntó: ¿Quiénes son los que están cubiertos con mantos blancos y de dónde vinieron?
14 I told him, “My lord, you know.” He said to me, “These are those who came out of the great suffering. They washed their robes and made them white in the Lamb’s blood.
Y le contesté: Señor mío, tú sabes. Y me dijo: Éstos son los que salen de la gran tribulación, lavaron sus mantos y los blanquearon en la sangre del Cordero.
15 Therefore they are before the throne of God, and they serve him day and night in his temple. He who sits on the throne will spread his tabernacle over them.
Por esto están delante del trono de Dios y le rinden culto de día y de noche en su Santuario. Y el que está sentado en el trono extenderá su Tabernáculo sobre ellos.
16 They will never be hungry or thirsty any more. The sun will not beat on them, nor any heat;
Ya no tendrán hambre, ni sed, y que de ningún modo caiga sobre ellos el sol, ni calor alguno,
17 for the Lamb who is in the middle of the throne shepherds them and leads them to springs of life-giving waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
porque el Cordero que está en [el] trono los pastoreará y los guiará a fuentes de aguas vivas. Dios enjugará toda lágrima de sus ojos.
