< Revelation 21 >

1 I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth have passed away, and the sea is no more.
Awo ne ndaba eggulu eriggya n’ensi empya. Eggulu eryasooka n’ensi eyasooka byali biweddewo nga n’ennyanja tekyaliwo.
2 I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband.
Ne ndaba ekibuga ekitukuvu Yerusaalemi ekiggya nga kikka okuva ewa Katonda mu ggulu, nga kiri ng’omugole bw’abeera ku mbaga ey’obugole bwe, ng’ayonjereddwa bbaawe.
3 I heard a loud voice out of heaven saying, “Behold, God’s dwelling is with people; and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.
Ne mpulira eddoboozi ery’omwanguka nga lyogera okuva mu ntebe ey’obwakabaka nti, “Laba eyeekaalu ya Katonda kaakano eri mu bantu, anaabeeranga nabo era banaabeeranga bantu be, Katonda yennyini anaaberanga nabo, era anaabeeranga Katonda waabwe.
4 He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain any more. The first things have passed away.”
Alisangula amaziga mu maaso gaabwe, olwo nga tewakyali kufa, wadde ennaku, wadde okukaaba, wadde okulumwa kubanga byonna ebyasooka nga biweddewo.”
5 He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” He said, “Write, for these words of God are faithful and true.”
Oyo eyali atudde ku ntebe ey’obwakabaka n’agamba nti, “Laba, ebintu byonna mbizzizza buggya.” Era n’aŋŋamba nti, “Wandiika bino, kubanga bigambo bya bwesigwa era bya mazima!”
6 He said to me, “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give freely to him who is thirsty from the spring of the water of life.
N’aŋŋamba nti, “Bituukiridde, Nze Alufa era nze Omega, Entandikwa era Enkomerero. Buli alumwa ennyonta ndimuwa okunywa ku nsulo ez’amazzi amalamu, ag’obuwa.
7 He who overcomes, I will give him these things. I will be his God, and he will be my son.
Buli awangula alifuna ebyo byonna ng’omugabo, era nze nnaaberanga Katonda we, naye anaabanga mwana wange.
8 But for the cowardly, unbelieving, sinners, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their part is in the lake that burns with fire (Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442) and sulfur, which is the second death."
Naye abo ababi n’abatakkiriza n’abagwagwa, n’abassi, n’abenzi, n’abalogo n’abasinza ebifaananyi, n’abalimba bonna, omugabo gwabwe kuliba kuzikirizibwa mu nnyanja ey’omuliro ogwaka ne salufa. Okwo kwe kufa okwokubiri.” (Limnē Pyr g3041 g4442)
9 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls which were loaded with the seven last plagues came, and he spoke with me, saying, “Come here. I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.”
Awo omu ku bamalayika omusanvu abaali bamaze okuyiwa ebibya ebyalimu ebibonoobono omusanvu eby’enkomerero n’ajja n’aŋŋamba nti, “Jjangu nkulage omugole w’Omwana gw’Endiga.”
10 He carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the holy city, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God,
N’antwala ku ntikko y’olusozi olunene era oluwanvu mu kwolesebwa; n’andaga ekibuga Yerusaalemi ekitukuvu nga kikka okuva mu ggulu ewa Katonda,
11 having the glory of God. Her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
nga kyonna kijjudde ekitiibwa kya Katonda era nga kimasamasa ng’ejjinja ery’omuwendo omungi, erya yasepi, eritangalijja.
12 having a great and high wall with twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written on them, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.
Bbugwe waakyo yali mugazi era nga mugulumivu, ng’aliko emiryango kkumi n’ebiri era nga gikuumibwa bamalayika kkumi na babiri, n’amannya g’ebika ekkumi n’ebibiri ebya Isirayiri nga gawandiikibbwa ku miryango egyo.
13 On the east were three gates, and on the north three gates, and on the south three gates, and on the west three gates.
Ku luuyi olw’ebuvanjuba kwaliko emiryango esatu, ne ku luuyi olw’obukiikakkono nga kuliko emiryango esatu, ne ku luuyi olw’obukiikaddyo nga kuliko emiryango esatu, era ne ku luuyi olw’obugwanjuba nga kuliko emiryango esatu.
14 The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them twelve names of the twelve Apostles of the Lamb.
Bbugwe yaliko amayinja ag’omusingi kkumi n’abiri ag’abatume b’Omwana gw’Endiga.
15 He who spoke with me had for a measure a golden reed to measure the city, its gates, and its walls.
Malayika eyali ayogera nange yali akutte mu mukono gwe omuggo ogwa zaabu ogupimisibwa, apime ekibuga, emiryango gyakyo era ne bbugwe waakyo.
16 The city is square. Its length is as great as its width. He measured the city with the reed: twelve thousand twelve stadia. Its length, width, and height are equal.
Ekibuga kyali kyenkanankana enjuuyi zonna, n’obuwanvu nabwo nga bwenkana n’obugazi awamu n’obukiika. Byonna byali bipima kilomita enkumi bbiri mu ebikumi bina, buli kimu nga kyenkanankana ne kinnaakyo.
17 Its wall is one hundred forty-four cubits, by the measure of a man, that is, of an angel.
Ate n’apima ne bbugwe waakyo ne kiweza mita nkaaga mu mukaaga ng’ekipimo ky’omuntu bwe kiri ng’apimye, awamu n’eky’abamalayika.
18 The construction of its wall was jasper. The city was pure gold, like pure glass.
Bbugwe waakyo yali azimbiddwa n’amayinja agayesipi nga n’ekibuga kya zaabu omulongoose nga kitangalijja ng’endabirwamu ennungi.
19 The foundations of the city’s wall were adorned with all kinds of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire; the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald,
Emisingi gya bbugwe w’ekibuga nga giyooyooteddwa n’amayinja ag’omuwendo omungi ennyo aga buli ngeri. Omusingi ogusooka gwayooyootebwa n’amayinja aga yasepi, ogwokubiri aga safiro, ogwokusatu aga kalukedoni, ogwokuna aga nnawandagala,

21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls. Each one of the gates was made of one pearl. The street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.
Ate emiryango ekkumi n’ebiri gyakolebwa n’amayinja ag’omuwendo aga luulu ennungi kkumi n’abiri, nga buli mulyango gukoleddwa n’ejjinja lya luulu limu. Ate lwo oluguudo olunene olw’ekibuga lwali lwa zaabu ennungi etangalijja ng’endabirwamu.
22 I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.
Mu kibuga ekyo saalabamu yeekaalu, Mukama Katonda Ayinzabyonna awamu n’Omwana gw’Endiga, bo ye yeekaalu yaakyo.
23 The city has no need for the sun or moon to shine, for the very glory of God illuminated it and its lamp is the Lamb.
Era ekibuga ekyo tekyetaaga njuba wadde omwezi okukyakira, kubanga ekitiibwa kya Katonda kye kikimulisa, era Omwana gw’Endiga ye ttabaaza yaakyo.
24 The nations will walk in its light. The kings of the earth bring the glory and honor of the nations into it.
Ekitangaala kyakyo kye kinaamulisanga amawanga ag’omu nsi, era abafuzi ab’omu nsi balijja ne bakireetera ekitiibwa.
25 Its gates will in no way be shut by day (for there will be no night there),
Emiryango gyakyo tegiggalwenga emisana, era yo teriba kiro.
26 and they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it so that they may enter.
Kirifuna ekitiibwa n’ettendo eby’amawanga.
27 There will in no way enter into it anything profane, or one who causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
Tewali ekitali kirongoofu ekirikkirizibwa okuyingira mu kyo, wadde abo abatambulira mu mpisa ezitali nnongoofu oba abalimba, wabula abalikibeeramu, beebo bokka, amannya gaabwe agaawandiikibwa mu kitabo eky’obulamu eky’Omwana gw’Endiga.
