< Psalms 81 >

1 For the Chief Musician. On an instrument of Gath. By Asaph. Sing aloud to God, our strength! Make a joyful shout to the God of Jacob!
Ei thahatsah u Pathen thangvahnan la sauvin, Jacob Pathen vahchoinan la sauvin.
2 Raise a song, and bring here the tambourine, the pleasant lyre with the harp.
Sauvin! tumging tothon avahchoila sauvin vohgingthei vouvin, semjang kisai ginleh selangdah gin to thouvin,
3 Blow the trumpet at the New Moon, at the full moon, on our feast day.
Lhathah janle sumkon mut-uvin lang, lhalih janle lhalih nikhoa golvah bolteng sumkon mut uvin.
4 For it is a statute for Israel, an ordinance of the God of Jacob.
Ijeh chu hichehi Israel dinga chondan thupeh ahin Jacob Pathen thugahsa ahi.
5 He appointed it in Joseph for a covenant, when he went out over the land of Egypt, I heard a language that I did not know.
Egypt gam a kon a ahungdoh uchun Aman Joseph komma hettohsah khat anaphutdoh tai. Keiman kahetchetlou thukhat kajan,
6 “I removed his shoulder from the burden. His hands were freed from the basket.
Keiman apohgih kangai jangin akhut a jong thilgih kangai jangin akhut a jong thilgih hahsa kathamsah tapoi.
7 You called in trouble, and I delivered you. I answered you in the secret place of thunder. I tested you at the waters of Meribah.” (Selah)
Nagimna a kon in neihin kouvin keiman kahuhdohtai. Meivom lhangkhat kiheh chetchut laha kahin houjin, Meribah a twi umloupet in natahsah kapatepjin ahi.
8 “Hear, my people, and I will testify to you, Israel, if you would listen to me!
Ngai uvin O kamite, nangho gihna nasatah kapeh pet-hin, Vo Israel kaseihi nangai poupou uleh,
9 There shall be no strange god in you, neither shall you worship any foreign god.
Nanghon imatih chan ajong gamchom mite Pathen koipouvin nate, Pathen lhem masanga kun pouvin nate.
10 I am the LORD, your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.
Ajeh chu Egypt-a kon a nahin puidoh uva Pakai na Pathen’u keima kahi. Nakam hakatnin ka-in keiman thilpha tamtah adimsetna kahin sunlut pehding ahi.
11 But my people did not listen to my voice. Israel desired none of me.
Ahinla kamiten angainom pouvin, Israel’in Keima eingaicha pouve.
12 So I let them go after the stubbornness of their hearts, that they might walk in their own counsels.
Hijeh chun Keiman alouchallu dungjuijin amaho deilam lam a chondin kalha kangtai.
13 Oh that my people would listen to me, that Israel would walk in my ways!
O kamiten kaseihi ngaipou pouleu, O Kamite Israelte hin eijuiju henlang kalampia hin chenom poupouleu!
14 I would soon subdue their enemies, and turn my hand against their adversaries.
Ichan geija gang in agalmiteu kajopeh tadiuvem! Ichan geija gangtah’in akidoupiteu chunga kakhut kalha tadem!
15 The haters of the LORD would cringe before him, and their punishment would last forever.
Koi hile Pakai nahsah loute chu a-ang sunga kisuchipdiu atonsotna mahthahdiu ahi.
16 But he would have also fed them with the finest of the wheat. I will satisfy you with honey out of the rock.”
Ahinla keiman nehthei aphapen a kavahding nahin, keiman songpia kon a kimu khoijua kavahdiu nahi.
