Psalms 69
1 For the Chief Musician. To the tune of “Lilies.” By David. Save me, God, for the waters have come up to my neck!
聖歌隊の指揮者によってゆりの花のしらべにあわせてうたわせたダビデの歌 神よ、わたしをお救いください。大水が流れ来て、わたしの首にまで達しました。
2 I sink in deep mire, where there is no foothold. I have come into deep waters, where the floods overflow me.
わたしは足がかりもない深い泥の中に沈みました。わたしは深い水に陥り、大水がわたしの上を流れ過ぎました。
3 I am weary with my crying. My throat is dry. My eyes fail looking for my God.
わたしは叫びによって疲れ、わたしののどはかわき、わたしの目は神を待ちわびて衰えました。
4 Those who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head. Those who want to cut me off, being my enemies wrongfully, are mighty. I have to restore what I did not take away.
ゆえなく、わたしを憎む者はわたしの頭の毛よりも多く、偽ってわたしの敵となり、わたしを滅ぼそうとする者は強いのです。わたしは盗まなかった物をも償わなければならないのですか。
5 God, you know my foolishness. My sins are not hidden from you.
神よ、あなたはわたしの愚かなことを知っておられます。わたしのもろもろのとがはあなたに隠れることはありません。
6 Do not let those who wait for you be shamed through me, Lord GOD of Armies. Do not let those who seek you be brought to dishonor through me, God of Israel.
万軍の神、主よ、あなたを待ち望む者がわたしの事によって、はずかしめられることのないようにしてください。イスラエルの神よ、あなたを求める者がわたしの事によって、恥を負わせられることのないようにしてください。
7 Because for your sake, I have borne reproach. Shame has covered my face.
わたしはあなたのためにそしりを負い、恥がわたしの顔をおおったのです。
8 I have become a stranger to my brothers, an alien to my mother’s children.
わたしはわが兄弟には、知らぬ者となり、わが母の子らには、のけ者となりました。
9 For the zeal of your house consumes me. The reproaches of those who reproach you have fallen on me.
あなたの家を思う熱心がわたしを食いつくし、あなたをそしる者のそしりがわたしに及んだからです。
10 When I wept and I fasted, that was to my reproach.
わたしが断食をもってわたしの魂を悩ませば、かえってそれによってそしりをうけました。
11 When I made sackcloth my clothing, I became a byword to them.
わたしが荒布を衣とすれば、かえって彼らのことわざとなりました。
12 Those who sit in the gate talk about me. I am the song of the drunkards.
わたしは門に座する者の話題となり、酔いどれの歌となりました。
13 But as for me, my prayer is to you, LORD, in an acceptable time. God, in the abundance of your loving kindness, answer me in the truth of your salvation.
しかし主よ、わたしはあなたに祈ります。神よ、恵みの時に、あなたのいつくしみの豊かなるにより、わたしにお答えください。
14 Deliver me out of the mire, and do not let me sink. Let me be delivered from those who hate me, and out of the deep waters.
あなたのまことの救により、わたしを泥の中に沈まぬよう助け出してください。わたしを憎む者から、また深い水からわたしを助け出してください。
15 Do not let the flood waters overwhelm me, neither let the deep swallow me up. Do not let the pit shut its mouth on me.
大水がわたしの上を流れ過ぎることなく、淵がわたしをのむことなく、穴がその口をわたしの上に閉じることのないようにしてください。
16 Answer me, LORD, for your loving kindness is good. According to the multitude of your tender mercies, turn to me.
主よ、あなたのいつくしみの深きにより、わたしにお答えください。あなたのあわれみの豊かなるにより、わたしを顧みてください。
17 Do not hide your face from your servant, for I am in distress. Answer me speedily!
あなたの顔をしもべに隠さないでください。わたしは悩んでいるのです。すみやかにわたしにお答えください。
18 Draw near to my soul and redeem it. Ransom me because of my enemies.
わたしに近く寄って、わたしをあがない、わが敵のゆえにわたしをお救いください。
19 You know my reproach, my shame, and my dishonor. My adversaries are all before you.
あなたはわたしの受けるそしりと、恥と、はずかしめとを知っておられます。わたしのあだは皆あなたの前にあります。
20 Reproach has broken my heart, and I am full of heaviness. I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; for comforters, but I found none.
そしりがわたしの心を砕いたので、わたしは望みを失いました。わたしは同情する者を求めたけれども、ひとりもなく、慰める者を求めたけれども、ひとりも見ませんでした。
21 They also gave me poison for my food. In my thirst, they gave me vinegar to drink.
彼らはわたしの食物に毒を入れ、わたしのかわいた時に酢を飲ませました。
22 Let their table before them become a snare. May it become a retribution and a trap.
彼らの前の食卓を網とし、彼らが犠牲をささげる祭を、わなとしてください。
23 Let their eyes be darkened, so that they cannot see. Let their backs be continually bent.
彼らの目を暗くして見えなくし、彼らの腰を常に震わせ、
24 Pour out your indignation on them. Let the fierceness of your anger overtake them.
あなたの憤りを彼らの上にそそぎ、あなたの激しい怒りを彼らに追いつかせてください。
25 Let their habitation be desolate. Let no one dwell in their tents.
彼らの宿営を荒し、ひとりもその天幕に住まわせないでください。
26 For they persecute him whom you have wounded. They tell of the sorrow of those whom you have hurt.
彼らはあなたが撃たれた者を迫害し、あなたが傷つけられた者をさらに苦しめるからです。
27 Charge them with crime upon crime. Do not let them come into your righteousness.
彼らに、罰に罰を加え、あなたの赦免にあずからせないでください。
28 Let them be blotted out of the book of life, and not be written with the righteous.
彼らをいのちの書から消し去って、義人のうちに記録されることのないようにしてください。
29 But I am in pain and distress. Let your salvation, God, protect me.
しかしわたしは悩み苦しんでいます。神よ、あなたの救がわたしを高い所に置かれますように。
30 I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.
わたしは歌をもって神の名をほめたたえ、感謝をもって神をあがめます。
31 It will please the LORD better than an ox, or a bull that has horns and hoofs.
これは雄牛または角とひずめのある雄牛にまさって主を喜ばせるでしょう。
32 The humble have seen it, and are glad. You who seek after God, let your heart live.
へりくだる者は、これを見て喜べ。神を求める者よ、あなたがたの心を生きかえらせよ。
33 For the LORD hears the needy, and does not despise his captive people.
主は乏しい者に聞き、その捕われ人をかろしめられないからである。
34 Let heaven and earth praise him; the seas, and everything that moves therein!
天と地は主をほめたたえ、海とその中に動くあらゆるものは主をほめたたえよ。
35 For God will save Zion, and build the cities of Judah. They shall settle there, and own it.
神はシオンを救い、ユダの町々を建て直されるからである。そのしもべらはそこに住んでこれを所有し、
36 The children also of his servants shall inherit it. Those who love his name shall dwell therein.
そのしもべらの子孫はこれを継ぎ、み名を愛する者はその中に住むであろう。
