< Psalms 62 >
1 For the Chief Musician. To Jeduthun. A Psalm by David. My soul rests in God alone. My salvation is from him.
David ƒe ha na Hɛnɔ Yedutun. Mawu me ko nye luʋɔ kpɔ gbɔɖeme le, eye eya ko gbɔ nye xɔxɔ tsona.
2 He alone is my rock, my salvation, and my fortress. I will never be greatly shaken.
Eya koe nye nye agakpe, nye xɔxɔ kple nye mɔ sesẽ, eya ta nyemaʋã akpɔ gbeɖe o.
3 How long will you assault a man? Would all of you throw him down, like a leaning wall, like a tottering fence?
Va se ɖe ɣe ka ɣi nànɔ ame ɖeka ƒoƒo dzi? Ɖe mi katã mialé ame si le abe gli gbagbã kple kpɔ si le mumum ene la aƒu anyia?
4 They fully intend to throw him down from his lofty place. They delight in lies. They bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. (Selah)
Woɖoe vavã be yewoatutui tso eƒe nɔƒe kɔkɔ la, elabena wolɔ̃a alakpadada. Wotsɔa woƒe nuwo gblɔa yayranyawoe, ke fiƒode le woƒe dzi me. (Sela)
5 My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my expectation is from him.
O! Nye luʋɔ, gbɔ ɖe eme le Mawu ɖeka ko me, elabena eya gbɔ nye mɔkpɔkpɔ tso.
6 He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress. I will not be shaken.
Eya hɔ̃ɔ koe nye nye agakpe, nye xɔxɔ kple nye mɔ sesẽ, eya ta nyemaʋuʋu o.
7 My salvation and my honor is with God. The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
Nye xɔxɔ kple bubu ku ɖe Mawu ŋu, eyae nye nye agakpe sesẽ kple nye sitsoƒe.
8 Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. (Selah)
O! Mi dukɔwo, miɖo dzi ɖe eŋu ɣe sia ɣi; mitsɔ miaƒe hiahiãwo kɔ ɖe edzi, elabena Mawue nye míaƒe sitsoƒe. (Sela)
9 Surely men of low degree are just a breath, and men of high degree are a lie. In the balances they will go up. They are together lighter than a breath.
Vavã, ƒuƒu ko ame gbɔlowo nye, eye alakpa nye ame siwo nye ame ŋkutawo, elabena ne woda wo le nudanu dzi la, tofloko ko wonye, eye wo katã ƒuƒu ko wonye.
10 Do not trust in oppression. Do not become vain in robbery. If riches increase, do not set your heart on them.
Migaɖo ŋu ɖe amebaba ŋu, alo akpɔ dzidzɔ ɖe nu siwo wofi la ŋuti o. Togbɔ be wò kesinɔnuwo dzi ɖe edzi hã la, mègatsɔ wò dzi da ɖe wo dzi o.
11 God has spoken once; twice I have heard this, that power belongs to God.
Mawu gblɔ nya ɖeka, eye mese nu eve le eme be, “Wò, O Mawu, ɖeka koe sesẽ,
12 Also to you, Lord, belongs loving kindness, for you reward every man according to his work.
eye O Aƒetɔ, wò la lɔlɔ̃ bɔ ɖe asiwò. Vavã, àɖo eteƒe na ame sia ame ɖe nu si wòwɔ la nu.”
