< Psalms 61 >
1 For the Chief Musician. For a stringed instrument. By David. Hear my cry, God. Listen to my prayer.
Wɔde ma dwonkyerɛfo. Wɔde sanku na ɛto. Dawid dwom. Ao, Onyankopɔn, tie me sufrɛ; tie me mpaebɔ.
2 From the end of the earth, I will call to you when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
Mifi asase ano frɛ wo, mefrɛ wo, efisɛ me koma atɔ beraw; fa me kɔ ɔbotan a ɛware sen me no so.
3 For you have been a refuge for me, a strong tower from the enemy.
Woayɛ me guankɔbea, aban a ɛyɛ den ma ɔtamfo no.
4 I will dwell in your tent forever. I will take refuge in the shelter of your wings. (Selah)
Me kɔn dɔ sɛ metena wo ntamadan no mu afebɔɔ na manya guankɔbea wɔ wo ntaban nwini ase.
5 For you, God, have heard my vows. You have given me the heritage of those who fear your name.
Woate me bɔ a mehyɛe no, Onyankopɔn; na wode wɔn a wosuro wo din no agyapade ama me.
6 You will prolong the king’s life. His years will be for generations.
To ɔhene nkwanna mu bebree; na ne mfe mfi awo ntoatoaso nkodu awo ntoatoaso.
7 He shall be enthroned in God’s presence forever. Appoint your loving kindness and truth, that they may preserve him.
Ma onni hene wɔ Onyankopɔn anim daa fa wʼadɔe ne wo nokware bɔ ne ho ban.
8 So I will sing praise to your name forever, that I may fulfill my vows daily.
Afei mɛto ayeyi dwom ama wo din daa na madi me bɔhyɛ so daa nyinaa.
