< Psalms 6 >
1 For the Chief Musician; on stringed instruments, upon the eight-stringed lyre. A Psalm by David. LORD, do not rebuke me in your anger, neither discipline me in your wrath.
Ho an’ ny mpiventy hira. Nampiarahina amin’ ny valiha. Al-hasheminith. Salamo nataon’ i Davida. Jehovah ô, aza ny fahatezeranao no ananaranao ahy, ary aza ny fahaviniranao no amaizanao ahy.
2 Have mercy on me, LORD, for I am faint. LORD, heal me, for my bones are troubled.
Mamindrà fo amiko, Jehovah ô, fa reraka aho; sitrano aho, Jehovah ô, fa mihozohozo ny taolako.
3 My soul is also in great anguish. But you, LORD—how long?
Ny fanahiko koa dia mangovitra loatra; fa Hianao, Jehovah ô, mandra-pahoviana?
4 Return, LORD. Deliver my soul, and save me for your loving kindness’ sake.
Miverena, Jehovah ô, afaho ny fanahiko; Vonjeo aho noho ny famindram-ponao.
5 For in death there is no memory of you. In Sheol (Sheol ), who shall give you thanks?
Fa tsy misy fahatsiarovana Anao any amin’ ny fahafatesana, any amin’ ny fiainan-tsi-hita iza no hidera Anao? (Sheol )
6 I am weary with my groaning. Every night I flood my bed. I drench my couch with my tears.
Efa sasatry ny misento aho; mampitsinkafona ny farafarako isan’ alina aho sady mahampo-dranomaso ny fandriako.
7 My eye wastes away because of grief. It grows old because of all my adversaries.
Lanin’ alahelo ny masoko; efa pahina izy amin’ ny ataon’ ny mpampahory ahy rehetra.
8 Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity, for the LORD has heard the voice of my weeping.
Mialà amiko, ianareo mpanao ratsy rehetra; fa Jehovah efa nandre ny feon’ ny fitomaniako.
9 The LORD has heard my supplication. The LORD accepts my prayer.
Jehovah efa nandre ny fangatahako; Jehovah no handray ny fivavahako.
10 May all my enemies be ashamed and dismayed. They shall turn back, they shall be disgraced suddenly.
Ho menatra sy hangovitra indrindra ny fahavaloko rehetra; hihodina izy ka ho menatra tampoka.
