< Psalms 6 >

1 For the Chief Musician; on stringed instruments, upon the eight-stringed lyre. A Psalm by David. LORD, do not rebuke me in your anger, neither discipline me in your wrath.
O Pakai, nei lung han san loujen in! Lungsat namoljol a chun neikhoukhah hih helin.
2 Have mercy on me, LORD, for I am faint. LORD, heal me, for my bones are troubled.
Neikhoton teijin lhasam le hatlou kahi Pakai, neidam sah in kagu kachang jousen eichip ui.
3 My soul is also in great anguish. But you, LORD—how long?
Kalhagao alengvai lheh jeng tai, O Pakai itihchan pi hitia hi kaum ding hitam?
4 Return, LORD. Deliver my soul, and save me for your loving kindness’ sake.
Hungkilen O Pakai, kalhagaohuh doh in. Namingailutna longlou jeh chun neihin huhdoh tei in.
5 For in death there is no memory of you. In Sheol (Sheol h7585), who shall give you thanks?
Ajeh chu thina ahin nangma geldoh na aumpoi: lhankhuh a kona jong koiham nahin thangvah ding? (Sheol h7585)
6 I am weary with my groaning. Every night I flood my bed. I drench my couch with my tears.
Kaka kamao nan kachao lhatai; janseh a kakanan kajalkhun achin in, kaka na mitlhi hon kalupna jalkhun akotsah sohtai.
7 My eye wastes away because of grief. It grows old because of all my adversaries.
Genthei akaka nan kamit athimtan; kagalmiten eisuh genthei jeh’uvin apomhel jengtai.
8 Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity, for the LORD has heard the voice of my weeping.
Gitlouna bolho jouse kakoma kon’in potdoh tauvin; Ajeh chu Pakaiyin kakana eijahpeh tai.
9 The LORD has heard my supplication. The LORD accepts my prayer.
Pakaiyin kangaichat a kathum na ho eihetpeh tan; kataona hi eidonbut ding ahitai.
10 May all my enemies be ashamed and dismayed. They shall turn back, they shall be disgraced suddenly.
Kagalmite jouse kijumsou henlang kithing pumin um uhen: Jum le ja pumin gangtah in kinungle taohen.
