< Psalms 57 >
1 For the Chief Musician. To the tune of “Do Not Destroy.” A poem by David, when he fled from Saul, in the cave. Be merciful to me, God, be merciful to me, for my soul takes refuge in you. Yes, in the shadow of your wings, I will take refuge, until disaster has passed.
Wɔde ma dwomkyerɛfoɔ no. Wɔto no sɛdeɛ wɔto “Mma Wɔnsɛe No.” Dawid dwom a ɔtooɛ ɛberɛ a ɔdwane firii Saulo nkyɛn kɔɔ ɔbodan no mu. Hu me mmɔbɔ, Ao Onyankopɔn, hunu me mmɔbɔ, na wo mu na me kra nya dwanekɔbea. Wo ntaban nwunu ase na mɛpɛ dwanekɔbea kɔsi sɛ amanehunu no bɛtwam.
2 I cry out to God Most High, to God who accomplishes my requests for me.
Mesu frɛ Onyankopɔn, Ɔsorosoroni no; Onyankopɔn a ɔma ne pɛ ba mu wɔ me ho.
3 He will send from heaven, and save me, he rebukes the one who is pursuing me. (Selah) God will send out his loving kindness and his truth.
Ɔsoma firi soro hɔ bɛgye me nkwa, ɔka wɔn a wɔtaa me anibereɛ so no anim; Onyankopɔn soma ne dɔ ne ne nokorɛ.
4 My soul is among lions. I lie among those who are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.
Agyata atwa me ho ahyia; meda mmoa a wɔwe ɛnam mono mu, nnipa a wɔn se te sɛ mpea ne mmɛmma na wɔn tɛkrɛma te sɛ akofena a ɛyɛ nnam.
5 Be exalted, God, above the heavens! Let your glory be above all the earth!
Ao Onyankopɔn, woyɛ kɛseɛ wɔ ɔsorosoro hɔ; ma wʼanimuonyam nkata asase nyinaa so.
6 They have prepared a net for my steps. My soul is bowed down. They dig a pit before me. They fall into the middle of it themselves. (Selah)
Wɔtrɛɛ asau mu de sum me nan afidie, ahohiahia brɛɛ me ase. Wɔtuu amena wɔ me kwan mu, nanso wɔn ankasa akɔtotɔ mu.
7 My heart is steadfast, God. My heart is steadfast. I will sing, yes, I will sing praises.
Ao Onyankopɔn, mʼakoma agyina pintinn, mʼakoma nhinhim; mɛto dwom na mayi wo ayɛ.
8 Wake up, my glory! Wake up, lute and harp! I will wake up the dawn.
Me kra nyane! Sankuo ne bɛnta, monnyane! Me nso mɛnyane anɔpahema.
9 I will give thanks to you, Lord, among the peoples. I will sing praises to you among the nations.
Ao Awurade, mɛyi wo ayɛ wɔ amanaman no mu; mɛto wo ho dwom wɔ nnipa mu.
10 For your great loving kindness reaches to the heavens, and your truth to the skies.
Wo dɔ yɛ kɛseɛ na ɛduru ɔsorosoro; wo nokorɛ kɔka ewiem.
11 Be exalted, God, above the heavens. Let your glory be over all the earth.
Ao Onyankopɔn, woyɛ kɛseɛ wɔ ɔsorosoro hɔ; ma wʼanimuonyam nkata asase nyinaa so.
