< Psalms 54 >

1 For the Chief Musician. On stringed instruments. A contemplation by David, when the Ziphites came and said to Saul, “Is not David hiding himself among us?” Save me, God, by your name. Vindicate me in your might.
Rombaho iraho ry Andrianañahare ty amy tahina’oy, vaho meo-to amo haozara’oo.
2 Hear my prayer, God. Listen to the words of my mouth.
Ry Andrianañahare, janjiño ty halaliko, toloro ravembia o entam-bavakoo.
3 For strangers have risen up against me. Violent men have sought after my soul. They have not set God before them. (Selah)
Miongake hiatreatre ahy ty ambahiny, paia’ o mitrotrofiakeo ty fiaiko, tsy nampiaoloe’ iareo t’i Andrianañahare. Selà
4 Behold, God is my helper. The Lord is the one who sustains my soul.
Inao! Mpañimb’ahy t’i Andrianañahare, Fiatoam-piaiko t’i Talè.
5 He will repay the evil to my enemies. Destroy them in your truth.
Hafote’e amo mivoñoñe ahiko ty haratia’ iareo; Rotsaho iereo ami’ty figahiña’o.
6 With a free will offering, I will sacrifice to you. I will give thanks to your name, LORD, for it is good.
Mañenga ama’o an-tsatrin-tro iraho, andriañeko i tahina’oy ry Iehovà, amy te ie ty soa;
7 For he has delivered me out of all trouble. My eye has seen triumph over my enemies.
Fa nafaha’e amako ze hene haemberañe, vaho nisambae’ o masokoo o rafelahikoo.
