< Psalms 33 >
1 Rejoice in the LORD, you righteous! Praise is fitting for the upright.
Weruru gimor ni Jehova Nyasaye, un joma kare; en gima owinjore mondo joma kare opake.
2 Give thanks to the LORD with the lyre. Sing praises to him with the harp of ten strings.
Pakuru Jehova Nyasaye gi nyatiti; werneuru wer mamit gi nyatiti.
3 Sing to him a new song. Play skillfully with a shout of joy!
Werneuru wer manyien; werneuru kugoyone nyiduonge kendo weruru gi ilo.
4 For the LORD’s word is right. All his work is done in faithfulness.
Wach Jehova Nyasaye nikare kendo en adier; en ja-adiera e gik moko duto motimo.
5 He loves righteousness and justice. The earth is full of the loving kindness of the LORD.
Jehova Nyasaye ohero tim makare kod ratiro; piny duto opongʼ gi herane ma ok rem.
6 By the LORD’s word, the heavens were made: all their army by the breath of his mouth.
Polo ne ochwe kuom wach Jehova Nyasaye, i dwe gi nyinyo duto nochweyo gi much dhoge.
7 He gathers the waters of the sea together as a heap. He lays up the deeps in storehouses.
Ochoko pige mag nembe madongo e tawo; oketo kut e dere.
8 Let all the earth fear the LORD. Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
Piny duto mondo oluor Jehova Nyasaye; ji duto manie e piny mondo okulrene.
9 For he spoke, and it was done. He commanded, and it stood firm.
Nikech ne owuoyo mi piny nobetie, nogolo chik mi ochungʼ mongirore.
10 The LORD brings the counsel of the nations to nothing. He makes the thoughts of the peoples to be of no effect.
Jehova Nyasaye ketho chenro duto mag pinje; othiro dwaro ma ogendini nigo.
11 The counsel of the LORD stands fast forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
To chenro duto mag Jehova Nyasaye to siko kochungʼ nyaka chiengʼ; ochopo dwaro duto manie chunye e tienge duto.
12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.
Piny ma ogeno Jehova Nyasaye ma Nyasache ogwedhi, nikech gin oganda mane oyiero kaka girkeni mare.
13 The LORD looks from heaven. He sees all the sons of men.
Jehova Nyasaye rango piny gie polo kendo oneno dhano duto;
14 From the place of his habitation he looks out on all the inhabitants of the earth,
ongʼiyo ji duto modak e piny gie kar dakne e polo,
15 he who fashions all of their hearts; and he considers all of their works.
en ema ne ochweyo chunje ji duto, kendo onono gik moko duto ma gitimo.
16 There is no king saved by the multitude of an army. A mighty man is not delivered by great strength.
Onge ruoth minyalo reso nikech en gi jolweny mangʼeny; bende onge jakedo manyalo tony nikech tekone ngʼeny.
17 A horse is a vain thing for safety, neither does he deliver any by his great power.
Geno yudo resruok kuom faras en gima nono kata obedo ni en giteko mangʼeny to ok onyal reso ngʼato.
18 Behold, the LORD’s eye is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his loving kindness,
To wangʼ Jehova Nyasaye neno jogo momiye luor, orango joma geno margi ni kuom herane ma ok rem,
19 to deliver their soul from death, to keep them alive in famine.
mondo oresgi e tho kendo oritgi gibed mangima e ndalo mag kech.
20 Our soul has waited for the LORD. He is our help and our shield.
Warito Jehova Nyasaye gi geno; en e konyruokwa kendo okumbawa.
21 For our heart rejoices in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
Chunywa mor kuome, nikech wageno kuom nyinge maler.
22 Let your loving kindness be on us, LORD, since we have hoped in you.
Mad herani ma ok rum osik kuomwa, yaye Jehova Nyasaye, mana kaka waketo genowa kuomi.
