< Psalms 31 >

1 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David. In you, LORD, I take refuge. Let me never be disappointed. Deliver me in your righteousness.
Abụ Ọma nke dịrị onyeisi abụ. Abụ Ọma Devid. Onyenwe anyị, nʼime gị, ka m gbabara izere ndụ; ekwela ka ihere mee m; site nʼezi omume gị gbapụta m.
2 Bow down your ear to me. Deliver me speedily. Be to me a strong rock, a house of defense to save me.
Tọọ ntị gị nʼala nụrụ olu m, bịa ngwangwa gbapụta m; ghọọrọ m oke nkume nke ebe mgbaba, ebe mgbaba e wusiri ike maka nzọpụta m.
3 For you are my rock and my fortress, therefore for your name’s sake lead me and guide me.
Ebe ị bụ oke nkume m na ebe mgbaba m e wusiri ike, nʼihi aha gị, duo m ma na-edukwa m.
4 Pluck me out of the net that they have laid secretly for me, for you are my stronghold.
Napụta m site nʼọnya nke e zobere nʼihi m, nʼihi na ọ bụ naanị gị bụ ebe mgbaba m siri ike.
5 Into your hand I commend my spirit. You redeem me, LORD, God of truth.
Nʼaka gị ka m na-enyefe mmụọ m; gbapụta m, o Onyenwe anyị, Chineke, onye eziokwu.
6 I hate those who regard lying vanities, but I trust in the LORD.
Akpọrọ m ha asị bụ ndị niile na-efe chi mba ọzọ ndị na-abaghị uru; ana m atụkwasị Onyenwe anyị obi m.
7 I will be glad and rejoice in your loving kindness, for you have seen my affliction. You have known my soul in adversities.
Aga m enwe obi ụtọ ma ṅụrịkwaa ọṅụ nʼime ịhụnanya gị, nʼihi na ị hụrụ nsogbu m marakwa ihe mgbu nke mmụọ m.
8 You have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy. You have set my feet in a large place.
I wereghị m nyefee nʼaka ndị iro m, kama i nyela m ohere ijegharị ebe ọbụla m chọrọ.
9 Have mercy on me, LORD, for I am in distress. My eye, my soul, and my body waste away with grief.
O Onyenwe anyị, meere m amara nʼọnọdụ ihe mgbu m. Anya m abụọ na-acha uhie uhie nʼihi ịkwa akwa; ike adịghịkwa m.
10 For my life is spent with sorrow, my years with sighing. My strength fails because of my iniquity. My bones are wasted away.
Iru ụjụ eriela m ahụ; ịkwa akwa m ewepụla ihe nʼafọ m; ihe mgbu m mere ka ike gwụsịa m ruo na ume adịghịkwa nʼọkpụkpụ m.
11 Because of all my adversaries I have become utterly contemptible to my neighbors, a horror to my acquaintances. Those who saw me on the street fled from me.
Nʼihi ndị iro m niile; ndị agbataobi m na-elelị m anya. Ndị enyi m na-atụ ụjọ ịbịakwute m, ndị hụrụ m nʼokporoụzọ na-esite ụzọ ọzọ gafee.
12 I am forgotten from their hearts like a dead man. I am like broken pottery.
Aghọọla m onye e chefuru echefu, dị ka a ga-asị na m nwụrụ anwụ. A pụrụ iji ite kụwara akwụwa tụnyere m.
13 For I have heard the slander of many, terror on every side, while they conspire together against me, they plot to take away my life.
Anụla m nkwulu ha megide m; oke egwu dị nʼakụkụ niile; ha na-agba izu megide m, na-agba izu nzuzo iji napụ m ndụ m.
14 But I trust in you, LORD. I said, “You are my God.”
Ma ana m atụkwasị gị obi Onyenwe anyị. Ekwuola m ya sị, “Naanị gị bụ Chineke m.”
15 My times are in your hand. Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me.
Oge m niile dị gị nʼaka. Napụta m nʼaka ndị iro m na nʼaka ndị ahụ na-adịghị ezu ike ịchụ m ọsọ.
16 Make your face to shine on your servant. Save me in your loving kindness.
Mee ka amara gị mụkwasị ohu gị dịka anyanwụ; zọpụta m nʼihi ịhụnanya gị na-enweghị ọgwụgwụ.
17 Let me not be disappointed, LORD, for I have called on you. Let the wicked be disappointed. Let them be silent in Sheol (Sheol h7585).
O Onyenwe anyị, ekwela ka ihere mee m, nʼihi na akpọkuola m gị; kama mee ka ihere mee ndị na-eme ihe ọjọọ, ka ha tọgbọrọ nʼala mmụọ debe ọnụ ha duu. (Sheol h7585)
18 Let the lying lips be mute, which speak against the righteous insolently, with pride and contempt.
Ka ọnụ ahụ ha ji ekwu okwu ụgha mechie kpamkpam; nʼihi na ọ bụ site na mpako na nlelị ka ha ji na-ekwu okwu megide ndị ezi omume.
19 Oh how great is your goodness, which you have laid up for those who fear you, which you have worked for those who take refuge in you, before the sons of men!
Lee ka ịdị mma gị si baa ụba, nke i na-edebere ndị niile na-atụ egwu gị, nke ị na-enye ndị na-agbaba nʼime gị, nʼihu ọha mmadụ.
20 In the shelter of your presence you will hide them from the plotting of man. You will keep them secretly in a dwelling away from the strife of tongues.
I na-ezobe ha nʼebe nzuzo gị pụọ nʼizu nzuzo nke ụmụ mmadụ; ị na-echebe ha nʼime ebe obibi gị; ka ha pụọ nʼebubo nke ire dị iche iche.
21 Praise be to the LORD, for he has shown me his marvelous loving kindness in a strong city.
Otuto dịrị Onyenwe anyị nʼihi na o gosila m ịhụnanya ya dị ukwuu mgbe m nọ nʼobodo ndị iro gbara gburugburu.
22 As for me, I said in my haste, “I am cut off from before your eyes.” Nevertheless you heard the voice of my petitions when I cried to you.
Akụjara m, kwuo okwu nʼụjọ sị, “Ewezugala m site nʼihu ya!” Ma ị nụrụ arịrịọ m maka ebere mgbe m kpọkuru gị ka i nyere m aka.
23 Oh love the LORD, all you his saints! The LORD preserves the faithful, and fully recompenses him who behaves arrogantly.
Hụnụ Onyenwe anyị nʼanya, unu ndị ya niile kwesiri ntụkwasị obi, nʼihi na Onyenwe anyị na-anapụta ndị niile kwesiri ntụkwasị obi nye ya, ma ọ na-akwụghachi ndị mpako oke zuru ezu.
24 Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who hope in the LORD.
Ya mere, dịrịnụ ike, ka obi siekwa unu ike, unu niile ndị olileanya ha dị nʼime Onyenwe anyị.
