< Psalms 27 >

1 By David. The LORD is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?
Hazavàko naho fandrombahako t’Iehovà, ia ty ihembañako? Fipaliram-piaiko t’Iehovà, ia ty hirevendreveñako?
2 When evildoers came at me to eat up my flesh, even my adversaries and my foes, they stumbled and fell.
Ie niambotrak’ amako o lo-tserekeo hampibotseke o nofokoo; le nitsikapy vaho nikorovoke o malaiñ’ahio naho o rafelahikoo.
3 Though an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. Though war should rise against me, even then I will be confident.
Ndra te hitobe hiatreatre ahy ty firimboñañe, tsy ho vorombeloñe ty troko; ndra te hitroatse amako ty hotakotake, mbe hitam-patokisañe.
4 One thing I have asked of the LORD, that I will seek after: that I may dwell in the LORD’s house all the days of my life, to see the LORD’s beauty, and to inquire in his temple.
Raha raike ty nihalalieko am’ Iehovà, izay ty ho paiaeko: ty hitobohako añ’anjomba’ Iehovà ao ze hene andro ivelomako, hahatrea ty hasoa-vinta’ Iehovà, vaho hañontàne añ’akiba’e ao.
5 For in the day of trouble, he will keep me secretly in his pavilion. In the secret place of his tabernacle, he will hide me. He will lift me up on a rock.
Ampipalira’e an-kijà’e ao t’ie an-tsam-poheke, akafi’e am-poreforetan-Kivoho’e ao; ampitongoa’e andigiligin-damilamy eo.
6 Now my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me. I will offer sacrifices of joy in his tent. I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the LORD.
Aa le honjoneñ’ ambone’ o rafelahiko miariseho ahio ty lohako. vaho ho banabanako soroñe an-drebeke mb’an-kivoho’e ao; ho saboako, eka ho rengèko an-tsabo t’Iehovà.
7 Hear, LORD, when I cry with my voice. Have mercy also on me, and answer me.
Janjiño ry Iehovà, naho ikaihako am-peo! Iferenaiño vaho toiño.
8 When you said, “Seek my face,” my heart said to you, “I will seek your face, LORD.”
Nitaroñe’o ami’ty foko ty hoe: Paiao ty tareheko; toe ho tsoeheko ty vinta’o, ry Iehovà.
9 Do not hide your face from me. Do not put your servant away in anger. You have been my help. Do not abandon me, neither forsake me, God of my salvation.
Ko aetak’ amako ty lahara’o; ko apo’o an-kaviñerañe ty mpitoro’o, Ihe mpañolotse ahy; le ko aitoa’o, naho ko farie’o ry Andrianañaharem- pandrombahañe ahiko.
10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.
Ndra t’ie nadon-drae naho rene, ho rambese’ Iehovà.
11 Teach me your way, LORD. Lead me in a straight path, because of my enemies.
Anaro ahy ty lala’o, ry Iehovà vaho tehafo mb’an-dalañe mira ty amo rafelahikoo.
12 Do not deliver me over to the desire of my adversaries, for false witnesses have risen up against me, such as breathe out cruelty.
Ko asese’o an-tsatri’ o malaiñ’ ahio; fa atretréo o mpanara vandeo, naho o mikofòke hasiahañeo.
13 I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
Hete! atokisako te ho treako an-tanen-kaveloñe ao ty hasoa’ Iehovà—
14 Wait for the LORD. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for the LORD.
Itamao t’Iehovà, mihaozara, le mihafatrara arofo; eka, liñiso t’Iehovà.
