Psalms 24

1 A Psalm by David. The earth is the LORD’s, with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell in it.

Псалом Давидів.

2 For he has founded it on the seas, and established it on the floods.

бо заклав Він її на моря́х, і на річках її встанови́в.

3 Who may ascend to the LORD’s hill? Who may stand in his holy place?

Хто зі́йде на го́ру Господню, і хто бу́де стояти на місці святому Його? —

4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood, and has not sworn deceitfully.

У кого́ чисті руки та щиреє серце, і хто не нахиля́в на марно́ту своєї душі, і хто не присягав на обма́ну,

5 He shall receive a blessing from the LORD, righteousness from the God of his salvation.

нехай но́сить він благослове́ння від Господа, а праведність — від Бога спасі́ння свого!

6 This is the generation of those who seek Him, who seek your face—even Jacob. (Selah)

Таке поколі́ння усіх, хто шукає Його́, хто пра́гне обличчя Твого́, Боже Яковів! (Се́ла)

7 Lift up your heads, you gates! Be lifted up, you everlasting doors, and the King of glory will come in.

Піднесі́те верхи́ свої, брами, і будьте відчи́нені, вхо́ди відві́чні, — і вві́йде Цар слави!

8 Who is the King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

Хто ж то Цар слави? — Господь си́льний й могу́тній, Господь, що поту́жний в бою́!

9 Lift up your heads, you gates; yes, lift them up, you everlasting doors, and the King of glory will come in.

Піднесіте верхи́ свої, брами, і піднесіте, вхо́ди відві́чні, — і вві́йде Цар слави!

10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of Armies is the King of glory! (Selah)

Хто ж то Він, той Цар слави? Господь Савао́т — Він Цар слави! (Се́ла)
