Psalms 143
1 A Psalm by David. Hear my prayer, LORD. Listen to my petitions. In your faithfulness and righteousness, relieve me.
Salmo de David. Yahvé, escucha mi oración, presta oído a mi súplica según tu fidelidad; óyeme por tu justicia,
2 Do not enter into judgment with your servant, for in your sight no man living is righteous.
y no entres en juicio con tu siervo, porque ningún viviente es justo delante de Ti.
3 For the enemy pursues my soul. He has struck my life down to the ground. He has made me live in dark places, as those who have been long dead.
El enemigo persigue mi alma, ha postrado en tierra mi vida; me ha encerrado en las tinieblas, como los ya difuntos.
4 Therefore my spirit is overwhelmed within me. My heart within me is desolate.
El espíritu ha desfallecido en mí, y mi corazón está helado en mi pecho.
5 I remember the days of old. I meditate on all your doings. I contemplate the work of your hands.
Me acuerdo de los días antiguos, medito en todas tus obras, contemplo las hazañas de tus manos,
6 I spread out my hands to you. My soul thirsts for you, like a parched land. (Selah)
y extiendo hacia Ti las mías: como tierra falta de agua, mi alma tiene sed de Ti.
7 Hurry to answer me, LORD. My spirit fails. Do not hide your face from me, so that I do not become like those who go down into the pit.
Escúchame pronto, Yahvé, porque mi espíritu languidece. No quieras esconder de mí tu rostro: sería yo como los que bajaron a la tumba.
8 Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning, for I trust in you. Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to you.
Hazme sentir al punto tu misericordia, pues en Ti coloco mi confianza. Muéstrame el camino que debo seguir, ya que hacia Ti levanto mi alma.
9 Deliver me, LORD, from my enemies. I flee to you to hide me.
Líbrame de mis enemigos, Yahvé; a Ti me entrego.
10 Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.
Enséñame a hacer tu voluntad, porque Tú eres mi Dios. Tu Espíritu es bueno; guíame, pues, por camino llano.
11 Revive me, LORD, for your name’s sake. In your righteousness, bring my soul out of trouble.
Por tu Nombre, Yahvé, guarda mi vida; por tu clemencia saca mi alma de la angustia.
12 In your loving kindness, cut off my enemies, and destroy all those who afflict my soul, for I am your servant.
Y por tu gracia acaba con mis enemigos, y disipa a cuantos atribulan mi alma, porque soy siervo tuyo.
