< Psalms 13 >
1 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by David. How long, LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?
Katoeng kruek zaehoikung hanah, David ih Saam laa. Aw Angraeng, nasetto maw nang pahnet han vop? Nang pahnet poe han boeh maw? Nasetto maw kai khae hoiah mikhmai na hawk han vop?
2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart every day? How long shall my enemy triumph over me?
Kai loe ni thokkruek nasetto maw palung ka set moe, nasetto maw khopoekhaih hoiah ka oh han vop? Ka misa mah nasetto maw na uk vop tih?
3 Behold, and answer me, LORD, my God. Give light to my eyes, lest I sleep in death;
Aw Angraeng ka Sithaw, ka lok hae tahngai ah loe, na pathim ah: ka mik hae amtuengsak ah, to tih ai nahaeloe duekhaih hoiah ka iip poe moeng tih;
4 lest my enemy say, “I have prevailed against him;” lest my adversaries rejoice when I fall.
to naah ka misanawk mah, Anih loe ka pazawk boeh, tiah na naa o ueloe, kam tim naah kai raihaih paek kaminawk anghoe o moeng tih.
5 But I trust in your loving kindness. My heart rejoices in your salvation.
Toe kai loe nam lunghaih tang kami ah ka oh; na pahlonghaih pongah kai ih palungthin anghoe tih.
6 I will sing to the LORD, because he has been good to me.
