< Psalms 116 >
1 I love the LORD, because he listens to my voice, and my cries for mercy.
Es mīlu(to Kungu), ka Tas Kungs klausa manu balsi un manu pielūgšanu.
2 Because he has turned his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live.
Jo Viņš griež Savu ausi pie manis, tādēļ es Viņu piesaukšu visu mūžu.
3 The cords of death surrounded me, the pains of Sheol (Sheol ) got a hold of me. I found trouble and sorrow.
Nāves saites mani bija apņēmušas, un elles bēdas man bija uzgājušas, bēdas un bailes man nāca virsū. (Sheol )
4 Then I called on the LORD’s name: “LORD, I beg you, deliver my soul.”
Bet es piesaucu Tā Kunga vārdu: ak Kungs, izglāb manu dvēseli!
5 The LORD is gracious and righteous. Yes, our God is merciful.
Tas Kungs ir žēlīgs un taisns, un mūsu Dievs ir sirds žēlīgs.
6 The LORD preserves the simple. I was brought low, and he saved me.
Tas Kungs pasargā vientiesīgos; kad es biju bēdās, tad Viņš man palīdzēja.
7 Return to your rest, my soul, for the LORD has dealt bountifully with you.
Esi atkal mierā, mana dvēsele, jo Tas Kungs tev dara labu.
8 For you have delivered my soul from death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.
Jo tu manu dvēseli esi izglābis no nāves, manas acis no asarām, manu kāju no slīdēšanas.
9 I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.
Es staigāšu Tā Kunga priekšā dzīvo zemē.
10 I believed, therefore I said, “I was greatly afflicted.”
Es ticu, tāpēc es runāju. Es biju ļoti apbēdināts;
11 I said in my haste, “All people are liars.”
Es sacīju savās bailēs: visi cilvēki ir melkuļi.
12 What will I give to the LORD for all his benefits toward me?
Kā es Tam Kungam maksāšu visas labdarīšanas, ko Viņš pie manis darījis?
13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call on the LORD’s name.
Es pacelšu to pestīšanas biķeri un piesaukšu Tā Kunga vārdu.
14 I will pay my vows to the LORD, yes, in the presence of all his people.
Es maksāšu Tam Kungam savus solījumus visu Viņa ļaužu priekšā.
15 Precious in the LORD’s sight is the death of his saints.
Viņa svēto nāve ir dārga Tā Kunga acīs.
16 LORD, truly I am your servant. I am your servant, the son of your servant girl. You have freed me from my chains.
Ak Kungs, es esmu tiešām Tavs kalps, es esmu Tavs kalps, Tavas kalpones dēls, Tu manas saites esi atraisījis.
17 I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call on the LORD’s name.
Tev es upurēšu pateicības upurus un piesaukšu Tā Kunga vārdu.
18 I will pay my vows to the LORD, yes, in the presence of all his people,
Es maksāšu Tam Kungam savus solījumus visu Viņa ļaužu priekšā,
19 in the courts of the LORD’s house, in the middle of you, Jerusalem. Praise the LORD!
Tā Kunga nama pagalmos, tavā vidū, Jeruzāleme. Alleluja!
