Psalms 115
1 Not to us, LORD, not to us, but to your name give glory, for your loving kindness, and for your truth’s sake.
ヱホバよ榮光をわれらに歸するなかれ われらに歸するなかれ なんぢのあはれみと汝のまこととの故によりてただ名にのみ歸したまへ
2 Why should the nations say, “Where is their God, now?”
もろもろの國人はいかなればいふ 今かれらの神はいづくにありやと
3 But our God is in the heavens. He does whatever he pleases.
然どわれらの神は天にいます 神はみこころのままにすべての事をおこなひ給へり
4 Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.
かれらの偶像はしろかねと金にして人の手のわざなり
5 They have mouths, but they do not speak. They have eyes, but they do not see.
その偶像は口あれどいはず目あれどみず
6 They have ears, but they do not hear. They have noses, but they do not smell.
耳あれどきかず鼻あれどかがず
7 They have hands, but they do not feel. They have feet, but they do not walk, neither do they speak through their throat.
手あれどとらず脚あれどあゆまず喉より聲をいだすことなし
8 Those who make them will be like them; yes, everyone who trusts in them.
此をつくる者とこれに依賴むものとは皆これにひとしからん
9 Israel, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield.
イスラエルよなんぢヱホバに依賴め ヱホバはかれらの助かれらの盾なり
10 House of Aaron, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield.
アロンの家よなんぢらヱホバによりたのめ ヱホバはかれらの助かれらの盾なり
11 You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield.
ヱホバを畏るるものよヱホバに依賴め ヱホバはかれらの助かれらの盾なり
12 The LORD remembers us. He will bless us. He will bless the house of Israel. He will bless the house of Aaron.
ヱホバは我儕をみこころに記たまへり われらを惠みイスラエルの家をめぐみアロンのいへをめぐみ
13 He will bless those who fear the LORD, both small and great.
また小なるも大なるもヱホバをおそるる者をめぐみたまはん
14 May the LORD increase you more and more, you and your children.
願くはヱホバなんぢらを増加へ なんぢらとなんぢらの子孫とをましくはへ給はんことを
15 Blessed are you by the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
なんぢらは天地をつくりたまへるヱホバに惠まるる者なり
16 The heavens are the LORD’s heavens, but he has given the earth to the children of men.
天はヱホバの天なり されど地は人の子にあたへたまへり
17 The dead do not praise the LORD, nor any who go down into silence,
死人も幽寂ところに下れるものもヤハを讃稱ふることなし
18 but we will bless the LORD, from this time forward and forever more. Praise the LORD!
然どわれらは今より永遠にいたるまでヱホバを讃まつらむ 汝等ヱホバをほめたたへよ
