< Psalms 115 >

1 Not to us, LORD, not to us, but to your name give glory, for your loving kindness, and for your truth’s sake.
Kwa ife ayi Yehova, kwa ife ayi koma ulemerero ukhale pa dzina lanu, chifukwa cha chikondi chanu chosasinthika ndiponso chifukwa cha kukhulupirika kwanu.
2 Why should the nations say, “Where is their God, now?”
Chifukwa chiyani anthu a mitundu ina akunena kuti, “Mulungu wawo ali kuti?”
3 But our God is in the heavens. He does whatever he pleases.
Mulungu wathu ali kumwamba; Iye amachita chilichonse chimene chimamukondweretsa.
4 Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands.
Koma mafano awo ndi siliva ndi golide, opangidwa ndi manja a anthu.
5 They have mouths, but they do not speak. They have eyes, but they do not see.
Pakamwa ali napo koma sayankhula, maso ali nawo koma sapenya;
6 They have ears, but they do not hear. They have noses, but they do not smell.
makutu ali nawo koma samva, mphuno ali nazo koma sanunkhiza;
7 They have hands, but they do not feel. They have feet, but they do not walk, neither do they speak through their throat.
manja ali nawo koma akakhudza samva kanthu; mapazi ali nawo koma sayenda; kapena pakhosi pawo kutulutsa mawu.
8 Those who make them will be like them; yes, everyone who trusts in them.
Anthu amene amapanga mafanowo adzafanana nawo, chimodzimodzinso onse amene amadalira mafanowo.
9 Israel, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield.
Inu Aisraeli, dalirani Yehova; Iye ndiye thandizo lanu ndi chishango chanu.
10 House of Aaron, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield.
Iwe nyumba ya Aaroni, dalira Yehova; Iye ndiye thandizo lako ndi chishango chako.
11 You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD! He is their help and their shield.
Inu amene mumaopa Iye, dalirani Yehova; Iye ndiye thandizo lanu ndi chishango chanu.
12 The LORD remembers us. He will bless us. He will bless the house of Israel. He will bless the house of Aaron.
Yehova watikumbukira ndipo adzatidalitsa: adzadalitsa nyumba ya Israeli, adzadalitsa nyumba ya Aaroni,
13 He will bless those who fear the LORD, both small and great.
adzadalitsa iwo amene amaopa Yehova; aangʼono ndi aakulu omwe.
14 May the LORD increase you more and more, you and your children.
Yehova akuwonjezereni madalitso; inuyo pamodzi ndi ana anu.
15 Blessed are you by the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
Mudalitsidwe ndi Yehova, Wolenga kumwamba ndi dziko lapansi.
16 The heavens are the LORD’s heavens, but he has given the earth to the children of men.
Kumwamba ndi kwa Yehova, koma dziko lapansi Iye walipereka kwa anthu.
17 The dead do not praise the LORD, nor any who go down into silence,
Si anthu akufa amene amatamanda Yehova, amene amatsikira kuli chete;
18 but we will bless the LORD, from this time forward and forever more. Praise the LORD!
ndi ife amene timatamanda Yehova, kuyambira tsopano mpaka muyaya. Tamandani Yehova.
