Numbers 3
1 Now this is the history of the generations of Aaron and Moses in the day that the LORD spoke with Moses in Mount Sinai.
E estas são as gerações de Arão e de Moisés, desde que o SENHOR falou a Moisés no monte Sinai.
2 These are the names of the sons of Aaron: Nadab the firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
E estes são os nomes dos filhos de Arão: Nadabe o primogênito, e Abiú, Eleazar, e Itamar.
3 These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the priests who were anointed, whom he consecrated to minister in the priest’s office.
Estes são os nomes dos filhos de Arão, sacerdotes ungidos; cujas mãos ele encheu para administrar o sacerdócio.
4 Nadab and Abihu died before the LORD when they offered strange fire before the LORD in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children. Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest’s office in the presence of Aaron their father.
Mas Nadabe e Abiú morreram diante do SENHOR, quando ofereceram fogo estranho diante do SENHOR, no deserto de Sinai: e não tiveram filhos: e Eleazar e Itamar exerceram o sacerdócio diante de Arão seu pai.
5 The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
E o SENHOR falou a Moisés, dizendo:
6 “Bring the tribe of Levi near, and set them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister to him.
Faze chegar à tribo de Levi, e faze-a estar diante do sacerdote Arão, para que lhe ministrem;
7 They shall keep his requirements, and the requirements of the whole congregation before the Tent of Meeting, to do the service of the tabernacle.
E desempenhem seu cargo, e o cargo de toda a congregação diante do tabernáculo do testemunho, para servir no ministério do tabernáculo;
8 They shall keep all the furnishings of the Tent of Meeting, and the obligations of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.
E guardem todos os móveis do tabernáculo do testemunho, e o encarregado a eles dos filhos de Israel, e ministrem no serviço do tabernáculo.
9 You shall give the Levites to Aaron and to his sons. They are wholly given to him on the behalf of the children of Israel.
E darás os levitas a Arão e a seus filhos: são inteiramente dados a eles dentre os filhos de Israel.
10 You shall appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall keep their priesthood, but the stranger who comes near shall be put to death.”
E constituirás a Arão e a seus filhos, para que exerçam seu sacerdócio: e o estranho que se chegar, morrerá.
11 The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
E falou o SENHOR a Moisés, dizendo:
12 “Behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn who open the womb among the children of Israel; and the Levites shall be mine,
E eis que eu tomei os levitas dentre os filhos de Israel em lugar de todos os primogênitos que abrem a madre entre os filhos de Israel; serão, pois, meus os levitas:
13 for all the firstborn are mine. On the day that I struck down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I made holy to me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and animal. They shall be mine. I am the LORD.”
Porque meu é todo primogênito; desde o dia que eu matei todos os primogênitos na terra do Egito, eu santifiquei a mim todos os primogênitos em Israel, tanto de homens como de animais; meus serão; Eu sou o SENHOR.
14 The LORD spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, saying,
E o SENHOR falou a Moisés no deserto de Sinai, dizendo:
15 “Count the children of Levi by their fathers’ houses, by their families. You shall count every male from a month old and upward.”
Conta os filhos de Levi pelas casas de seus pais, por suas famílias: contarás todos os homens de um mês acima.
16 Moses counted them according to the LORD’s word, as he was commanded.
E Moisés os contou conforme a palavra do SENHOR, como lhe foi mandado.
17 These were the sons of Levi by their names: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
E os filhos de Levi foram estes por seus nomes: Gérson, e Coate, e Merari.
18 These are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families: Libni and Shimei.
E os nomes dos filhos de Gérson, por suas famílias, estes: Libni, e Simei.
19 The sons of Kohath by their families: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
E os filhos de Coate, por suas famílias: Anrão, e Izar, e Hebrom, e Uziel.
20 The sons of Merari by their families: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to their fathers’ houses.
E os filhos de Merari, por suas famílias: Mali, e Musi. Estas, as famílias de Levi, pelas casas de seus pais.
21 Of Gershon was the family of the Libnites, and the family of the Shimeites. These are the families of the Gershonites.
De Gérson, a família de Libni e a de Simei: estas são as famílias de Gérson.
22 Those who were counted of them, according to the number of all the males from a month old and upward, even those who were counted of them were seven thousand five hundred.
Os contados deles conforme a conta de todos os homens de um mês acima, os contados deles, sete mil e quinhentos.
23 The families of the Gershonites shall encamp behind the tabernacle westward.
As famílias de Gérson assentarão suas tendas à retaguarda do tabernáculo, ao ocidente;
24 Eliasaph the son of Lael shall be the prince of the fathers’ house of the Gershonites.
E o chefe da casa do pai dos gersonitas, Eliasafe filho de Lael.
25 The duty of the sons of Gershon in the Tent of Meeting shall be the tabernacle, the tent, its covering, the screen for the door of the Tent of Meeting,
A cargo dos filhos de Gérson, no tabernáculo do testemunho, estará o tabernáculo, e a tenda, e sua cobertura, e a cortina da porta do tabernáculo do testemunho,
26 the hangings of the court, the screen for the door of the court which is by the tabernacle and around the altar, and its cords for all of its service.

27 Of Kohath was the family of the Amramites, the family of the Izharites, the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites. These are the families of the Kohathites.
E de Coate, a família dos anramitas, e a família dos izaritas, e a família dos hebronitas, e a família dos uzielitas: estas são as famílias coatitas.
28 According to the number of all the males from a month old and upward, there were eight thousand six hundred keeping the requirements of the sanctuary.
Pela conta de todos os homens de um mês acima, eram oito mil e seiscentos, que tinham a guarda do santuário.
29 The families of the sons of Kohath shall encamp on the south side of the tabernacle.
As famílias dos filhos de Coate acamparão ao lado do tabernáculo, ao sul;
30 The prince of the fathers’ house of the families of the Kohathites shall be Elizaphan the son of Uzziel.
E o chefe da casa do pai das famílias de Coate, Elisafã filho de Uziel.
31 Their duty shall be the ark, the table, the lamp stand, the altars, the vessels of the sanctuary with which they minister, the screen, and all its service.
E a cargo deles estará a arca, e a mesa, e o candelabro, e os altares, e os utensílios do santuário com que ministram, e o véu, com todo seu serviço.
32 Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be prince of the princes of the Levites, with the oversight of those who keep the requirements of the sanctuary.
E o principal dos chefes dos levitas será Eleazar, filho de Arão o sacerdote, supervisor dos que têm a guarda do santuário.
33 Of Merari was the family of the Mahlites and the family of the Mushites. These are the families of Merari.
De Merari, a família dos malitas e a família dos musitas: estas são as famílias de Merari.
34 Those who were counted of them, according to the number of all the males from a month old and upward, were six thousand two hundred.
E os contados deles conforme a conta de todos os homens de um mês acima, foram seis mil e duzentos.
35 The prince of the fathers’ house of the families of Merari was Zuriel the son of Abihail. They shall encamp on the north side of the tabernacle.
E o chefe da casa do pai das famílias de Merari, Zuriel filho de Abiail: acamparão ao lado do tabernáculo, ao norte.
36 The appointed duty of the sons of Merari shall be the tabernacle’s boards, its bars, its pillars, its sockets, all its instruments, all its service,
E a cargo dos filhos de Merari estará a custódia das tábuas do tabernáculo, e suas barras, e suas colunas, e suas bases, e todos os seus utensílios, com todo seu serviço:
37 the pillars of the court around it, their sockets, their pins, and their cords.
E as colunas em derredor do átrio, e suas bases, e suas estacas, e suas cordas.
38 Those who encamp before the tabernacle eastward, in front of the Tent of Meeting toward the sunrise, shall be Moses, with Aaron and his sons, keeping the requirements of the sanctuary for the duty of the children of Israel. The outsider who comes near shall be put to death.
E os que acamparão diante do tabernáculo ao oriente, diante do tabernáculo do testemunho ao levante, serão Moisés, e Arão e seus filhos, tendo a guarda do santuário em lugar dos filhos de Israel: e o estranho que se aproximar, morrerá.
39 All who were counted of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron counted at the commandment of the LORD, by their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty-two thousand.
Todos os contados dos levitas, que Moisés e Arão conforme a palavra do SENHOR contaram por suas famílias, todos os homens de um mês acima, foram vinte e dois mil.
40 The LORD said to Moses, “Count all the firstborn males of the children of Israel from a month old and upward, and take the number of their names.
E o SENHOR disse a Moisés: Conta todos os primogênitos homens dos filhos de Israel de um mês acima, e toma a conta dos nomes deles.
41 You shall take the Levites for me—I am the LORD—instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel; and the livestock of the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the livestock of the children of Israel.”
E tomarás os levitas para mim, eu o SENHOR, em lugar de todos os primogênitos dos filhos de Israel: e os animais dos levitas em lugar de todos os primogênitos dos animais dos filhos de Israel.
42 Moses counted, as the LORD commanded him, all the firstborn among the children of Israel.
E contou Moisés, como o SENHOR lhe mandou, todos os primogênitos dos filhos de Israel.
43 All the firstborn males according to the number of names from a month old and upward, of those who were counted of them, were twenty-two thousand two hundred seventy-three.
E todos os primogênitos homens, conforme a conta dos nomes, de um mês acima, os contados deles foram vinte e dois mil duzentos setenta e três.
44 The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
E falou o SENHOR a Moisés, dizendo:
45 “Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the livestock of the Levites instead of their livestock; and the Levites shall be mine. I am the LORD.
Toma os levitas em lugar de todos os primogênitos dos filhos de Israel, e os animais dos levitas em lugar de seus animais; e os levitas serão meus: Eu sou o SENHOR.
46 For the redemption of the two hundred seventy-three of the firstborn of the children of Israel who exceed the number of the Levites,
E pelos resgates dos duzentos e setenta e três, que excedem aos levitas os primogênitos dos filhos de Israel;
47 you shall take five shekels apiece for each one; according to the shekel of the sanctuary you shall take them (the shekel is twenty gerahs);
Tomarás cinco siclos por cabeça; conforme o siclo do santuário tomarás: o siclo tem vinte óbolos:
48 and you shall give the money, with which their remainder is redeemed, to Aaron and to his sons.”
E darás a Arão e a seus filhos o dinheiro pelos resgates dos que deles sobram.
49 Moses took the redemption money from those who exceeded the number of those who were redeemed by the Levites;
Tomou, pois, Moisés o dinheiro do resgate dos que resultaram a mais dos resgatados pelos levitas:
50 from the firstborn of the children of Israel he took the money, one thousand three hundred sixty-five shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary;
E recebeu dos primogênitos dos filhos de Israel em dinheiro, mil trezentos sessenta e cinco siclos, conforme o siclo do santuário.
51 and Moses gave the redemption money to Aaron and to his sons, according to the LORD’s word, as the LORD commanded Moses.
E Moisés deu o dinheiro dos resgates a Arão e a seus filhos, conforme o dito do SENHOR, segundo que o SENHOR havia mandado a Moisés.
