Numbers 3
1 Now this is the history of the generations of Aaron and Moses in the day that the LORD spoke with Moses in Mount Sinai.
Karon kini mao ang mga kaliwatan ni Aaron ug ni Moises, sa adlaw nga si Jehova misulti kang Moises didto sa bukid sa Sinai.
2 These are the names of the sons of Aaron: Nadab the firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
Ug kini mao ang mga ngalan sa mga anak nga lalake ni Aaron: si Nadab ang panganay; ug si Abiu, si Eleazar, ug si Ithamar.
3 These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the priests who were anointed, whom he consecrated to minister in the priest’s office.
Kini mao ang mga ngalan sa mga anak nga lalake ni Aaron, ang mga sacerdote nga gidihogan, nga iyang gigahin aron sa pag-alagad sa pagka-sacerdote.
4 Nadab and Abihu died before the LORD when they offered strange fire before the LORD in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children. Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest’s office in the presence of Aaron their father.

5 The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

6 “Bring the tribe of Levi near, and set them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister to him.

7 They shall keep his requirements, and the requirements of the whole congregation before the Tent of Meeting, to do the service of the tabernacle.

8 They shall keep all the furnishings of the Tent of Meeting, and the obligations of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.
Ug bantayan nila ang tanang mga galamiton sa balong-balong nga pagatiguman, ug ang ginatugyan kanila sa mga anak sa Israel sa pagbuhat sa pag-alagad sa tabernaculo.
9 You shall give the Levites to Aaron and to his sons. They are wholly given to him on the behalf of the children of Israel.
Ug ihatag mo ang mga Levihanon kang Aaron ug sa iyang mga anak nga lalake: sila gihatag gayud tungod sa mga anak sa Israel.
10 You shall appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall keep their priesthood, but the stranger who comes near shall be put to death.”
Ug tudloan mo si Aaron ug ang iyang mga anak nga lalake, ug sila managbantay sa ilang pagka-sacerdote; ug ang dumuloong nga mahaduol pagapatyon siya.
11 The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
Ug misulti si Jehova kang Moises, nga nagaingon:
12 “Behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn who open the womb among the children of Israel; and the Levites shall be mine,
Ug ako, ania karon, gikuha ko ang mga Levihanon gikan sa taliwala sa mga anak sa Israel, nga salili sa tanang mga panganay nga nagabuka sa taguangkan sa taliwala sa mga anak sa Israel; ug ang mga Levihanon mamaako.
13 for all the firstborn are mine. On the day that I struck down all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I made holy to me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and animal. They shall be mine. I am the LORD.”
Kay ang tanang mga panganay ako man; sa adlaw sa pagpamatay ko sa tanang mga panganay didto sa yuta sa Egipto, akong gipakabalaan alang kanako ang tanang mga panganay diha sa Israel, maingon sa mga tawo, mao man usab sa mga mananap; sila mamaako. Ako mao si Jehova.
14 The LORD spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, saying,
Ug si Jehova misulti kang Moises didto sa kamingawan sa Sinai, nga nagaingon:
15 “Count the children of Levi by their fathers’ houses, by their families. You shall count every male from a month old and upward.”
Isipon mo ang anak ni Levi pinaagi sa mga balay sa ilang mga amahan pinaagi sa ilang mga panimalay: nga pagaisipon mo ang tanang mga lalake sukad sa usa pa ka bulan ang panuigon ug ngadto sa itaas.
16 Moses counted them according to the LORD’s word, as he was commanded.
Ug giisip ni Moises sila sumala sa gisugo ni Jehova kaniya.
17 These were the sons of Levi by their names: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
Ug kini mao ang mga anak nga lalake ni Levi sa ilang mga ngalan: Si Gerson, ug si Coath, ug si Merari.
18 These are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families: Libni and Shimei.
Ug kini mao ang mga ngalan sa mga anak nga lalake ni Gerson, pinaagi sa ilang mga panimalay: Si Libni, ug si Shimei.
19 The sons of Kohath by their families: Amram, Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
Ug ang mga anak nga lalake ni Coath pinaagi sa ilang mga panimalay: Si Amran, ug si Izhar, ug si Hebron, ug si Uzziel.
20 The sons of Merari by their families: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to their fathers’ houses.
Ug ang mga anak nga lalake ni Merari pinaagi sa ilang mga panimalay: si Mahali, ug si Musi. Kini mao ang mga panimalay sa mga Levihanon, sumala sa mga balay sa ilang mga amahan.
21 Of Gershon was the family of the Libnites, and the family of the Shimeites. These are the families of the Gershonites.
Kang Gerson mao ang panimalay no Libni, ang panimalay ni Shimei: kini mao ang mga panimalay ni Gerson.
22 Those who were counted of them, according to the number of all the males from a month old and upward, even those who were counted of them were seven thousand five hundred.
Kadtong mga naisip kanila sumala sa tanang mga lalake sukad sa usa ka bulan ang panuigon ug ngadto sa itaas, bisan kadtong mga naisip kanila, may pito ka libo ug lima ka gatus.
23 The families of the Gershonites shall encamp behind the tabernacle westward.
Ang mga panimalay ni Gerson magapahamutang sa ilang mga balong-balong sa likod sa tabernaculo, dapit sa kanawayan.
24 Eliasaph the son of Lael shall be the prince of the fathers’ house of the Gershonites.
Ug ang principe sa balay sa amahan sa mga Gersonhon, mao si Eliasaph, ang anak nga lalake ni Lael.
25 The duty of the sons of Gershon in the Tent of Meeting shall be the tabernacle, the tent, its covering, the screen for the door of the Tent of Meeting,
Ug ang katungdanan sa mga anak nga lalake ni Gerson sa balong-balong nga pagatiguman mao ang tabernaculo, ug ang Balong-balong, ug ang tabon niini, ug ang cortina sa pultahan sa balong-balong nga pagatiguman.
26 the hangings of the court, the screen for the door of the court which is by the tabernacle and around the altar, and its cords for all of its service.

27 Of Kohath was the family of the Amramites, the family of the Izharites, the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites. These are the families of the Kohathites.

28 According to the number of all the males from a month old and upward, there were eight thousand six hundred keeping the requirements of the sanctuary.
Sumala sa gidaghanon sa tanang mga lalake sukad sa usa ka bulan ang panuigon ug ngadto sa itaas, may walo ka libo ug unom ka gatus nga nagabantay sa balaang puloy-anan.
29 The families of the sons of Kohath shall encamp on the south side of the tabernacle.
Ang panimalay sa mga anak nga lalake ni Coath magapahaluna sa kiliran sa tabernaculo ngadto sa habagatan:
30 The prince of the fathers’ house of the families of the Kohathites shall be Elizaphan the son of Uzziel.
Ug ang principe sa balay sa amahan sa mga panimalay ni Coath, mao si Elisapan, ang anak nga lalake ni Uzziel.
31 Their duty shall be the ark, the table, the lamp stand, the altars, the vessels of the sanctuary with which they minister, the screen, and all its service.
Ug ang ilang katungdanan mao ang arca, ug ang lamesa, ug ang tangkawan, ug ang mga halaran, ug ang mga kasangkapan sa balaang puloy-anan nga pinaagi niini sila manag-alagad, ug ang cortina, ug ang tanan nga galamiton niini.
32 Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be prince of the princes of the Levites, with the oversight of those who keep the requirements of the sanctuary.
Ug ang labaw sa mga principe sa mga Levihanon, mao si Eleazar, ang anak nga lalake ni Aaron ang sacerdote; siya magatan-aw kanila nga magabantay sa balaang puloy-anan.
33 Of Merari was the family of the Mahlites and the family of the Mushites. These are the families of Merari.
Kang Merari, ang panimalay nga Mahalihanon, ug ang panimalay nga Musihanon: kini mao ang mga panimalay ni Merari.
34 Those who were counted of them, according to the number of all the males from a month old and upward, were six thousand two hundred.
Ug kadtong mga naisip kanila sumala sa gidaghanon sa tanang mga lalake, sukad sa usa ka bulan ang panuigon ug ngadto sa itaas, may unom ka libo ug duruha ka gatus.
35 The prince of the fathers’ house of the families of Merari was Zuriel the son of Abihail. They shall encamp on the north side of the tabernacle.
Ug ang principe sa balay sa amahan sa mga panimalay ni Merari, mao si Zuriel, ang anak nga lalake ni Abihail, sila magapahamutang sa kiliran sa tabernaculo ngadto amihanan.
36 The appointed duty of the sons of Merari shall be the tabernacle’s boards, its bars, its pillars, its sockets, all its instruments, all its service,
Ug ang natudlo nga katungdanan sa mga anak nga lalake ni Merari, mao ang pagbantay sa mga tabla sa tabernaculo, ug ang mga yayongan niini, ug ang mga haligi niini; ug ang mga ugbokanan, ug ang tanang mga galamiton, sa tibook nga pag-alagad niana.
37 the pillars of the court around it, their sockets, their pins, and their cords.
Ug ang mga haligi nga maglibut sa sawang, ug ang ilang mga ugbokanan, ug ang ilang mga lagdok, ug ang ilang mga sinawalong pisi.
38 Those who encamp before the tabernacle eastward, in front of the Tent of Meeting toward the sunrise, shall be Moses, with Aaron and his sons, keeping the requirements of the sanctuary for the duty of the children of Israel. The outsider who comes near shall be put to death.
Ug kadtong magapahamutang sa atubangan sa tabernaculo dapit sa silangan, sa atubangan sa balong-balong nga pagatiguman paingon ngadto sa silangan, mao si Moises ug si Aaron, ug ang iyang mga anak nga lalake, nga magabantay sa balaang puloy-anan, alang sa mga anak sa Israel; ug ang dumuloong nga moduol, pagapatyon siya.
39 All who were counted of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron counted at the commandment of the LORD, by their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty-two thousand.
Ang tanang mga naisip sa mga Levihanon nga giisip ni Moises ug ni Aaron, ingon sa sugo ni Jehova, pinaagi sa ilang mga panimalay, ang tanang mga lalake sukad sa usa ka bulan ang panuigon ug ngadto sa itaas, may kaluhaan ug duha ka libo.
40 The LORD said to Moses, “Count all the firstborn males of the children of Israel from a month old and upward, and take the number of their names.
Ug si Jehova miingon kang Moises: Isipon mo ang tanang mga panganay nga lalake sa mga anak sa Israel sukad sa usa ka bulan ang panuigon ug ngadto sa itaas, ug isipon mo ang ilang mga ngalan.
41 You shall take the Levites for me—I am the LORD—instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel; and the livestock of the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the livestock of the children of Israel.”
Ug kuhaon mo ang mga Levihanon alang kanako (ako mao si Jehova) nga salili sa tanang mga panganay sa mga anak sa Israel: ug ang kahayupan sa mga Levihanon nga salili sa tanang panganay sa kahayupan sa mga anak sa Israel.
42 Moses counted, as the LORD commanded him, all the firstborn among the children of Israel.
Ug giisip ni Moises, ingon sa gisugo ni Jehova kaniya, ang tanang mga panganay sa mga anak sa Israel.
43 All the firstborn males according to the number of names from a month old and upward, of those who were counted of them, were twenty-two thousand two hundred seventy-three.
Ug ang tanang mga panganay nga lalake, sumala sa gidaghanon sa mga ngalan, sukad sa usa ka bulan ang panuigon ug ngadto sa itaas, niadtong mga naisip kanila, may kaluhaan ug duha ka libo duha ka gatus kapitoan ug tolo.
44 The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
Ug misulti si Jehova kang Moises, nga nagaingon:
45 “Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the livestock of the Levites instead of their livestock; and the Levites shall be mine. I am the LORD.
Kuhaon mo ang mga Levihanon nga salili sa tanang mga panganay sa mga anak sa Israel, ug ang kahayupan sa mga Levihanon nga salili sa ilang kahayupan, ug ang mga Levihanon mamaako: Ako mao si Jehova.
46 For the redemption of the two hundred seventy-three of the firstborn of the children of Israel who exceed the number of the Levites,
Ug alang sa pagkalukat sa duruha ka gatus ug kapitoan ug tolo, sa mga panganay sa mga anak sa Israel, nga milabaw sa gidaghanon sa mga Levihanon,
47 you shall take five shekels apiece for each one; according to the shekel of the sanctuary you shall take them (the shekel is twenty gerahs);

48 and you shall give the money, with which their remainder is redeemed, to Aaron and to his sons.”

49 Moses took the redemption money from those who exceeded the number of those who were redeemed by the Levites;
Ug gikuha ni Moises ang salapi-ngalukat gikan kanila nga may kapin ug sa ibabaw nila nga gilukat pinaagi sa mga Levihanon:
50 from the firstborn of the children of Israel he took the money, one thousand three hundred sixty-five shekels, according to the shekel of the sanctuary;

51 and Moses gave the redemption money to Aaron and to his sons, according to the LORD’s word, as the LORD commanded Moses.
Ug gihatag ni Moises ang salapi-ngalukat kang Aaron ug sa iyang mga anak nga lalake, sumala sa pulong ni Jehova, ingon sa gisugo ni Jehova kang Moises.
