< Micah 2 >

1 Woe to those who devise iniquity and work evil on their beds! When the morning is light, they practice it, because it is in the power of their hand.
Yonnae sak hanlah ikhun dawk hoi kahawihoehe kho pouk e patetlah khodai torei, ka sak e tami teh a yawthoe awh.
2 They covet fields and seize them, and houses, then take them away. They oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.
Ayânaw e imlaw lungraduek awh teh, tahma lah ka lawm e tami hoi a im hai thoseh, tongpa hoi a hnopai hai thoseh, a lawp awh teh a pacekpahlek awh.
3 Therefore the LORD says: “Behold, I am planning against these people a disaster, from which you will not remove your necks, neither will you walk haughtily, for it is an evil time.
Hatdawkvah, BAWIPA ni a dei eiteh, na lahuen hlouthoehnae, lû na loungoukhoehnae rucatnae imthungkhu dawk ka pha sak han. Runae teh hot patet e tueng lah ao han.
4 In that day they will take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, saying, ‘We are utterly ruined! My people’s possession is divided up. Indeed he takes it from me and assigns our fields to traitors!’”
Hatnae tueng nah, bangnuenae lawk lah hno awh vaiteh, lungmathoenae lah a sak awh hane teh, maimouh teh rawk katang awh toe. Ka miphun ni a coe hane kawi ka kut dawk hoi bout a la toe. Maimae laikawknaw na lawp awh teh ayânaw hah a rei toe.
5 Therefore you will have no one who divides the land by lot in the LORD’s assembly.
Hatdawkvah, kamkhueng e Cathut e taminaw koe na coe awh hanelah ka bangnue hane tami awm mahoeh.
6 “Do not prophesy!”—they prophesy— “Do not prophesy about these things. Disgrace will not overtake us.”
Profetnaw, profet lawk dei hanh awh. Ahnimanaw kayasak nahanlah profet lawk pâpho awh mahoeh.
7 Shall it be said, O house of Jacob, “Is the LORD’s Spirit angry? Are these his doings? Do not my words do good to him who walks blamelessly?”
BAWIPA e Muitha teh ngang lah ao maw. Hote hnonaw na sak a na maw, telah Isarelnaw a pacei navah kalan e hno ka sak e tami teh ka lawk lahoi aphu a hmu nahoehmaw.
8 But lately my people have risen up as an enemy. You strip the robe and clothing from those who pass by without a care, returning from battle.
Ayan hoi doeh Ka taminaw ni na taran awh toe. Taran tuknae koehoi a ban awh teh runae taket awh laipalah, kacetnaw e avan angki hoi athung angki hah a lawp awh.
9 You drive the women of my people out from their pleasant houses; from their young children you take away my blessing forever.
Ka taminaw e a yunaw hah a phunepnae hmuen koehoi a hrek awh teh, ahnimouh koehoi Kaie bawilennae hah meng na lawp awh toe.
10 Arise, and depart! For this is not your resting place, because of uncleanness that destroys, even with a grievous destruction.
Thaw nateh cet awh haw, hete ram heh nangmouh hanlah hnâroumnae hmuen nahoeh. Hete hmuen teh a khin dawkvah rawknae kalenpoung hoi a rawk han.
11 If a man walking in a spirit of falsehood lies, saying, “I will prophesy to you of wine and of strong drink,” he would be the prophet of this people.
Ma ngai patetlah laithoe ka dei e tami ni, Misur tui hoi yamu kong ka dei han tetpawiteh, ahni teh hote lawk kadeikung la doeh ao han.
12 I will surely assemble all of you, Jacob. I will surely gather the remnant of Israel. I will put them together as the sheep of Bozrah, as a flock in the middle of their pasture. They will swarm with people.
13 He who breaks open the way goes up before them. They break through the gate, and go out. Their king passes on before them, with the LORD at their head.
Karaphoekungnaw ni ahnimae hmalah a cei awh. Ahnimouh ni hai a raphoe awh teh longkha dawk hoi a cei awh. Ahnimae siangpahrang ni ahnimae hmalah a cei teh BAWIPA ni lam a pâtue.
