< Matthew 22 >

1 Jesus answered and spoke to them again in parables, saying,
ଅନନ୍ତରଂ ଯୀଶୁଃ ପୁନରପି ଦୃଷ୍ଟାନ୍ତେନ ତାନ୍ ଅୱାଦୀତ୍,
2 “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king, who made a wedding feast for his son,
ସ୍ୱର୍ଗୀଯରାଜ୍ୟମ୍ ଏତାଦୃଶସ୍ୟ ନୃପତେଃ ସମଂ, ଯୋ ନିଜ ପୁତ୍ରଂ ୱିୱାହଯନ୍ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱାନ୍ ନିମନ୍ତ୍ରିତାନ୍ ଆନେତୁଂ ଦାସେଯାନ୍ ପ୍ରହିତୱାନ୍,
3 and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding feast, but they would not come.
କିନ୍ତୁ ତେ ସମାଗନ୍ତୁଂ ନେଷ୍ଟୱନ୍ତଃ|
4 Again he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “Behold, I have prepared my dinner. My cattle and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding feast!”’
ତତୋ ରାଜା ପୁନରପି ଦାସାନନ୍ୟାନ୍ ଇତ୍ୟୁକ୍ତ୍ୱା ପ୍ରେଷଯାମାସ, ନିମନ୍ତ୍ରିତାନ୍ ୱଦତ, ପଶ୍ୟତ, ମମ ଭେଜ୍ୟମାସାଦିତମାସ୍ତେ, ନିଜୱ୍ଟଷାଦିପୁଷ୍ଟଜନ୍ତୂନ୍ ମାରଯିତ୍ୱା ସର୍ୱ୍ୱଂ ଖାଦ୍ୟଦ୍ରୱ୍ୟମାସାଦିତୱାନ୍, ଯୂଯଂ ୱିୱାହମାଗଚ୍ଛତ|
5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his merchandise;
ତଥପି ତେ ତୁଚ୍ଛୀକୃତ୍ୟ କେଚିତ୍ ନିଜକ୍ଷେତ୍ରଂ କେଚିଦ୍ ୱାଣିଜ୍ୟଂ ପ୍ରତି ସ୍ୱସ୍ୱମାର୍ଗେଣ ଚଲିତୱନ୍ତଃ|
6 and the rest grabbed his servants, treated them shamefully, and killed them.
ଅନ୍ୟେ ଲୋକାସ୍ତସ୍ୟ ଦାସେଯାନ୍ ଧୃତ୍ୱା ଦୌରାତ୍ମ୍ୟଂ ୱ୍ୟୱହୃତ୍ୟ ତାନୱଧିଷୁଃ|
7 When the king heard that, he was angry, and sent his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned their city.
ଅନନ୍ତରଂ ସ ନୃପତିସ୍ତାଂ ୱାର୍ତ୍ତାଂ ଶ୍ରୁତ୍ୱା କ୍ରୁଧ୍ୟନ୍ ସୈନ୍ୟାନି ପ୍ରହିତ୍ୟ ତାନ୍ ଘାତକାନ୍ ହତ୍ୱା ତେଷାଂ ନଗରଂ ଦାହଯାମାସ|
8 “Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.
ତତଃ ସ ନିଜଦାସେଯାନ୍ ବଭାଷେ, ୱିୱାହୀଯଂ ଭୋଜ୍ୟମାସାଦିତମାସ୍ତେ, କିନ୍ତୁ ନିମନ୍ତ୍ରିତା ଜନା ଅଯୋଗ୍ୟାଃ|
9 Go therefore to the intersections of the highways, and as many as you may find, invite to the wedding feast.’
ତସ୍ମାଦ୍ ଯୂଯଂ ରାଜମାର୍ଗଂ ଗତ୍ୱା ଯାୱତୋ ମନୁଜାନ୍ ପଶ୍ୟତ, ତାୱତଏୱ ୱିୱାହୀଯଭୋଜ୍ୟାଯ ନିମନ୍ତ୍ରଯତ|
10 Those servants went out into the highways and gathered together as many as they found, both bad and good. The wedding was filled with guests.
ତଦା ତେ ଦାସେଯା ରାଜମାର୍ଗଂ ଗତ୍ୱା ଭଦ୍ରାନ୍ ଅଭଦ୍ରାନ୍ ୱା ଯାୱତୋ ଜନାନ୍ ଦଦୃଶୁଃ, ତାୱତଏୱ ସଂଗୃହ୍ୟାନଯନ୍; ତତୋଽଭ୍ୟାଗତମନୁଜୈ ର୍ୱିୱାହଗୃହମ୍ ଅପୂର୍ୟ୍ୟତ|
11 “But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man who did not have on wedding clothing,
ତଦାନୀଂ ସ ରାଜା ସର୍ୱ୍ୱାନଭ୍ୟାଗତାନ୍ ଦ୍ରଷ୍ଟୁମ୍ ଅଭ୍ୟନ୍ତରମାଗତୱାନ୍; ତଦା ତତ୍ର ୱିୱାହୀଯୱସନହୀନମେକଂ ଜନଂ ୱୀକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ତଂ ଜଗାଦ୍,
12 and he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here not wearing wedding clothing?’ He was speechless.
ହେ ମିତ୍ର, ତ୍ୱଂ ୱିୱାହୀଯୱସନଂ ୱିନା କଥମତ୍ର ପ୍ରୱିଷ୍ଟୱାନ୍? ତେନ ସ ନିରୁତ୍ତରୋ ବଭୂୱ|
13 Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and throw him into the outer darkness. That is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.’
ତଦା ରାଜା ନିଜାନୁଚରାନ୍ ଅୱଦତ୍, ଏତସ୍ୟ କରଚରଣାନ୍ ବଦ୍ଧା ଯତ୍ର ରୋଦନଂ ଦନ୍ତୈର୍ଦନ୍ତଘର୍ଷଣଞ୍ଚ ଭୱତି, ତତ୍ର ୱହିର୍ଭୂତତମିସ୍ରେ ତଂ ନିକ୍ଷିପତ|
14 For many are called, but few chosen.”
ଇତ୍ଥଂ ବହୱ ଆହୂତା ଅଲ୍ପେ ମନୋଭିମତାଃ|
15 Then the Pharisees went and took counsel how they might entrap him in his talk.
ଅନନ୍ତରଂ ଫିରୂଶିନଃ ପ୍ରଗତ୍ୟ ଯଥା ସଂଲାପେନ ତମ୍ ଉନ୍ମାଥେ ପାତଯେଯୁସ୍ତଥା ମନ୍ତ୍ରଯିତ୍ୱା
16 They sent their disciples to him, along with the Herodians, saying, “Teacher, we know that you are honest, and teach the way of God in truth, no matter whom you teach; for you are not partial to anyone.
ହେରୋଦୀଯମନୁଜୈଃ ସାକଂ ନିଜଶିଷ୍ୟଗଣେନ ତଂ ପ୍ରତି କଥଯାମାସୁଃ, ହେ ଗୁରୋ, ଭୱାନ୍ ସତ୍ୟଃ ସତ୍ୟମୀଶ୍ୱରୀଯମାର୍ଗମୁପଦିଶତି, କମପି ମାନୁଷଂ ନାନୁରୁଧ୍ୟତେ, କମପି ନାପେକ୍ଷତେ ଚ, ତଦ୍ ୱଯଂ ଜାନୀମଃ|
17 Tell us therefore, what do you think? Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?”
ଅତଃ କୈସରଭୂପାଯ କରୋଽସ୍ମାକଂ ଦାତୱ୍ୟୋ ନ ୱା? ଅତ୍ର ଭୱତା କିଂ ବୁଧ୍ୟତେ? ତଦ୍ ଅସ୍ମାନ୍ ୱଦତୁ|
18 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, “Why do you test me, you hypocrites?
ତତୋ ଯୀଶୁସ୍ତେଷାଂ ଖଲତାଂ ୱିଜ୍ଞାଯ କଥିତୱାନ୍, ରେ କପଟିନଃ ଯୁଯଂ କୁତୋ ମାଂ ପରିକ୍ଷଧ୍ୱେ?
19 Show me the tax money.” They brought to him a denarius.
ତତ୍କରଦାନସ୍ୟ ମୁଦ୍ରାଂ ମାଂ ଦର୍ଶଯତ| ତଦାନୀଂ ତୈସ୍ତସ୍ୟ ସମୀପଂ ମୁଦ୍ରାଚତୁର୍ଥଭାଗ ଆନୀତେ
20 He asked them, “Whose is this image and inscription?”
ସ ତାନ୍ ପପ୍ରଚ୍ଛ, ଅତ୍ର କସ୍ୟେଯଂ ମୂର୍ତ୍ତି ର୍ନାମ ଚାସ୍ତେ? ତେ ଜଗଦୁଃ, କୈସରଭୂପସ୍ୟ|
21 They said to him, “Caesar’s.” Then he said to them, “Give therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”
ତତଃ ସ ଉକ୍ତୱାନ, କୈସରସ୍ୟ ଯତ୍ ତତ୍ କୈସରାଯ ଦତ୍ତ, ଈଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ଯତ୍ ତଦ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରାଯ ଦତ୍ତ|
22 When they heard it, they marveled, and left him and went away.
ଇତି ୱାକ୍ୟଂ ନିଶମ୍ୟ ତେ ୱିସ୍ମଯଂ ୱିଜ୍ଞାଯ ତଂ ୱିହାଯ ଚଲିତୱନ୍ତଃ|
23 On that day Sadducees (those who say that there is no resurrection) came to him. They asked him,
ତସ୍ମିନ୍ନହନି ସିଦୂକିନୋଽର୍ଥାତ୍ ଶ୍ମଶାନାତ୍ ନୋତ୍ଥାସ୍ୟନ୍ତୀତି ୱାକ୍ୟଂ ଯେ ୱଦନ୍ତି, ତେ ଯୀଶେରନ୍ତିକମ୍ ଆଗତ୍ୟ ପପ୍ରଚ୍ଛୁଃ,
24 saying, “Teacher, Moses said, ‘If a man dies, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife and raise up offspring for his brother.’
ହେ ଗୁରୋ, କଶ୍ଚିନ୍ମନୁଜଶ୍ଚେତ୍ ନିଃସନ୍ତାନଃ ସନ୍ ପ୍ରାଣାନ୍ ତ୍ୟଜତି, ତର୍ହି ତସ୍ୟ ଭ୍ରାତା ତସ୍ୟ ଜାଯାଂ ୱ୍ୟୁହ୍ୟ ଭ୍ରାତୁଃ ସନ୍ତାନମ୍ ଉତ୍ପାଦଯିଷ୍ୟତୀତି ମୂସା ଆଦିଷ୍ଟୱାନ୍|
25 Now there were with us seven brothers. The first married and died, and having no offspring left his wife to his brother.
କିନ୍ତ୍ୱସ୍ମାକମତ୍ର କେଽପି ଜନାଃ ସପ୍ତସହୋଦରା ଆସନ୍, ତେଷାଂ ଜ୍ୟେଷ୍ଠ ଏକାଂ କନ୍ୟାଂ ୱ୍ୟୱହାତ୍, ଅପରଂ ପ୍ରାଣତ୍ୟାଗକାଲେ ସ୍ୱଯଂ ନିଃସନ୍ତାନଃ ସନ୍ ତାଂ ସ୍ତ୍ରିଯଂ ସ୍ୱଭ୍ରାତରି ସମର୍ପିତୱାନ୍,
26 In the same way, the second also, and the third, to the seventh.
ତତୋ ଦ୍ୱିତୀଯାଦିସପ୍ତମାନ୍ତାଶ୍ଚ ତଥୈୱ ଚକ୍ରୁଃ|
27 After them all, the woman died.
ଶେଷେ ସାପୀ ନାରୀ ମମାର|
28 In the resurrection therefore, whose wife will she be of the seven? For they all had her.”
ମୃତାନାମ୍ ଉତ୍ଥାନସମଯେ ତେଷାଂ ସପ୍ତାନାଂ ମଧ୍ୟେ ସା ନାରୀ କସ୍ୟ ଭାର୍ୟ୍ୟା ଭୱିଷ୍ୟତି? ଯସ୍ମାତ୍ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱଏୱ ତାଂ ୱ୍ୟୱହନ୍|
29 But Jesus answered them, “You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God.
ତତୋ ଯୀଶୁଃ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟୱାଦୀତ୍, ଯୂଯଂ ଧର୍ମ୍ମପୁସ୍ତକମ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱରୀଯାଂ ଶକ୍ତିଞ୍ଚ ନ ୱିଜ୍ଞାଯ ଭ୍ରାନ୍ତିମନ୍ତଃ|
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like God’s angels in heaven.
ଉତ୍ଥାନପ୍ରାପ୍ତା ଲୋକା ନ ୱିୱହନ୍ତି, ନ ଚ ୱାଚା ଦୀଯନ୍ତେ, କିନ୍ତ୍ୱୀଶ୍ୱରସ୍ୟ ସ୍ୱର୍ଗସ୍ଥଦୂତାନାଂ ସଦୃଶା ଭୱନ୍ତି|
31 But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have not you read that which was spoken to you by God, saying,
ଅପରଂ ମୃତାନାମୁତ୍ଥାନମଧି ଯୁଷ୍ମାନ୍ ପ୍ରତୀଯମୀଶ୍ୱରୋକ୍ତିଃ,
32 ‘I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”
"ଅହମିବ୍ରାହୀମ ଈଶ୍ୱର ଇସ୍ହାକ ଈଶ୍ୱରୋ ଯାକୂବ ଈଶ୍ୱର" ଇତି କିଂ ଯୁଷ୍ମାଭି ର୍ନାପାଠି? କିନ୍ତ୍ୱୀଶ୍ୱରୋ ଜୀୱତାମ୍ ଈଶ୍ୱର: , ସ ମୃତାନାମୀଶ୍ୱରୋ ନହି|
33 When the multitudes heard it, they were astonished at his teaching.
ଇତି ଶ୍ରୁତ୍ୱା ସର୍ୱ୍ୱେ ଲୋକାସ୍ତସ୍ୟୋପଦେଶାଦ୍ ୱିସ୍ମଯଂ ଗତାଃ|
34 But the Pharisees, when they heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, gathered themselves together.
ଅନନ୍ତରଂ ସିଦୂକିନାମ୍ ନିରୁତ୍ତରତ୍ୱୱାର୍ତାଂ ନିଶମ୍ୟ ଫିରୂଶିନ ଏକତ୍ର ମିଲିତୱନ୍ତଃ,
35 One of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, testing him.
ତେଷାମେକୋ ୱ୍ୟୱସ୍ଥାପକୋ ଯୀଶୁଂ ପରୀକ୍ଷିତୁଂ ପପଚ୍ଛ,
36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law?”
ହେ ଗୁରୋ ୱ୍ୟୱସ୍ଥାଶାସ୍ତ୍ରମଧ୍ୟେ କାଜ୍ଞା ଶ୍ରେଷ୍ଠା?
37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
ତତୋ ଯୀଶୁରୁୱାଚ, ତ୍ୱଂ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱାନ୍ତଃକରଣୈଃ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱପ୍ରାଣୈଃ ସର୍ୱ୍ୱଚିତ୍ତୈଶ୍ଚ ସାକଂ ପ୍ରଭୌ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରେ ପ୍ରୀଯସ୍ୱ,
38 This is the first and great commandment.
ଏଷା ପ୍ରଥମମହାଜ୍ଞା| ତସ୍ୟାଃ ସଦୃଶୀ ଦ୍ୱିତୀଯାଜ୍ଞୈଷା,
39 A second likewise is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
ତୱ ସମୀପୱାସିନି ସ୍ୱାତ୍ମନୀୱ ପ୍ରେମ କୁରୁ|
40 The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments.”
ଅନଯୋ ର୍ଦ୍ୱଯୋରାଜ୍ଞଯୋଃ କୃତ୍ସ୍ନୱ୍ୟୱସ୍ଥାଯା ଭୱିଷ୍ୟଦ୍ୱକ୍ତୃଗ୍ରନ୍ଥସ୍ୟ ଚ ଭାରସ୍ତିଷ୍ଠତି|
41 Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them a question,
ଅନନ୍ତରଂ ଫିରୂଶିନାମ୍ ଏକତ୍ର ସ୍ଥିତିକାଲେ ଯୀଶୁସ୍ତାନ୍ ପପ୍ରଚ୍ଛ,
42 saying, “What do you think of the Christ? Whose son is he?” They said to him, “Of David.”
ଖ୍ରୀଷ୍ଟମଧି ଯୁଷ୍ମାକଂ କୀଦୃଗ୍ବୋଧୋ ଜାଯତେ? ସ କସ୍ୟ ସନ୍ତାନଃ? ତତସ୍ତେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟୱଦନ୍, ଦାଯୂଦଃ ସନ୍ତାନଃ|
43 He said to them, “How then does David in the Spirit call him Lord, saying,
ତଦା ସ ଉକ୍ତୱାନ୍, ତର୍ହି ଦାଯୂଦ୍ କଥମ୍ ଆତ୍ମାଧିଷ୍ଠାନେନ ତଂ ପ୍ରଭୁଂ ୱଦତି?
44 ‘The Lord said to my Lord, sit on my right hand, until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet’?
ଯଥା ମମ ପ୍ରଭୁମିଦଂ ୱାକ୍ୟମୱଦତ୍ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଃ| ତୱାରୀନ୍ ପାଦପୀଠଂ ତେ ଯାୱନ୍ନହି କରୋମ୍ୟହଂ| ତାୱତ୍ କାଲଂ ମଦୀଯେ ତ୍ୱଂ ଦକ୍ଷପାର୍ଶ୍ୱ ଉପାୱିଶ| ଅତୋ ଯଦି ଦାଯୂଦ୍ ତଂ ପ୍ରଭୁଂ ୱଦତି, ର୍ତିହ ସ କଥଂ ତସ୍ୟ ସନ୍ତାନୋ ଭୱତି?
45 “If then David calls him Lord, how is he his son?”
ତଦାନୀଂ ତେଷାଂ କୋପି ତଦ୍ୱାକ୍ୟସ୍ୟ କିମପ୍ୟୁତ୍ତରଂ ଦାତୁଂ ନାଶକ୍ନୋତ୍;
46 No one was able to answer him a word, neither did any man dare ask him any more questions from that day forward.
ତଦ୍ଦିନମାରଭ୍ୟ ତଂ କିମପି ୱାକ୍ୟଂ ପ୍ରଷ୍ଟୁଂ କସ୍ୟାପି ସାହସୋ ନାଭୱତ୍|
