Lamentations 3
1 I am the man who has seen affliction by the rod of his wrath.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಕೋಪದ ಕೋಲಿನಿಂದ ಕಷ್ಟವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ನಾನೇ.
2 He has led me and caused me to walk in darkness, and not in light.
ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆತಂದು ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದು ಕತ್ತಲೆಗೇ ಹೊರತು ಬೆಳಕಿಗಲ್ಲ.
3 Surely he turns his hand against me again and again all day long.
ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ದಿನವೆಲ್ಲಾ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
4 He has made my flesh and my skin old. He has broken my bones.
ನನ್ನ ಮಾಂಸ, ಚರ್ಮವನ್ನು ಆತನು ಹಳೆಯದನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
5 He has built against me, and surrounded me with bitterness and hardship.
ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ವಿಷದಿಂದಲೂ, ಸಂಕಟದಿಂದಲೂ ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
6 He has made me dwell in dark places, as those who have been long dead.
ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಹುಕಾಲದ ಹಿಂದೆ ಸತ್ತವರ ಹಾಗೆ, ಕತ್ತಲೆಯ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
7 He has walled me about, so that I cannot go out. He has made my chain heavy.
ನಾನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಾರದ ಹಾಗೆ, ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಸಂಕೋಲೆಯ ಭಾರವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
8 Yes, when I cry, and call for help, he shuts out my prayer.
ನಾನು ಕರೆದು ಕೂಗಿದರೂ ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನು ಲಾಲಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
9 He has walled up my ways with cut stone. He has made my paths crooked.
ಕೆತ್ತಿದ ಕಲ್ಲಿನಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ, ಆ ನನ್ನ ದಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಡೊಂಕು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
10 He is to me as a bear lying in wait, as a lion in hiding.
ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ಹೊಂಚು ಹಾಕುವ ಕರಡಿಯ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ, ಗುಪ್ತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಿಂಹದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ.
11 He has turned away my path, and pulled me in pieces. He has made me desolate.
ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತುಂಡುಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
12 He has bent his bow, and set me as a mark for the arrow.
ಅವರು ತನ್ನ ಬಿಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಬಗ್ಗಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಗುರಿಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
13 He has caused the shafts of his quiver to enter into my kidneys.
ಅವರು ತನ್ನ ಬತ್ತಳಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿನ ಬಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಅಂತರಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತೂರಿ ಹೋಗುವಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
14 I have become a derision to all my people, and their song all day long.
ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಹಾಸ್ಯವೂ, ದಿನವೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಅವರ ಗೇಲಿಯ ಹಾಡಾಗಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದೇನೆ.
15 He has filled me with bitterness. He has stuffed me with wormwood.
ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಹಿಯಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿಸಿ, ವಿಷ ಸಸ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತಣಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
16 He has also broken my teeth with gravel. He has covered me with ashes.
ಅವರು ನುರುಜು ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿದು, ಅವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಧೂಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತುಳಿದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
17 You have removed my soul far away from peace. I forgot prosperity.
ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಸಮಾಧಾನದಿಂದ ದೂರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ನಾನು ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಮರೆತುಬಿಟ್ಟೆನು.
18 I said, “My strength has perished, along with my expectation from the LORD.”
“ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ನನ್ನ ಬಲವು ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರಿಂದ ನಾಶವಾದವು,” ಎಂದು ನಾನು ಹೇಳಿದೆನು.
19 Remember my affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the bitterness.
ನನ್ನ ಸಂಕಟವನ್ನು, ನನ್ನ ಅಲೆದಾಡುವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು, ನನ್ನ ಕಹಿಯನ್ನು, ನನ್ನ ವಿಷತನವನ್ನು ನಾನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
20 My soul still remembers them, and is bowed down within me.
ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವು ಇನ್ನೂ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ ನನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ಕುಂದಿಹೋಗಿದೆ.
21 This I recall to my mind; therefore I have hope.
ಇದನ್ನು ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ತಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನನಗೆ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಇದೆ.
22 It is because of the LORD’s loving kindnesses that we are not consumed, because his mercies do not fail.
ನಾವು ನಾಶವಾಗದೇ ಉಳಿದಿರುವುದು ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಮಹಾ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದಲೇ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವರ ಅನುಕಂಪಗಳು ಮುಗಿಯುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
23 They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness.
ಅವು ಪ್ರತಿ ಮುಂಜಾನೆಯೂ ಹೊಸದಾಗಿರುವುವು. ನಿನ್ನ ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತಿಕೆಯು ಮಹತ್ತಾದದ್ದು.
24 “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul. “Therefore I will hope in him.”
“ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ ನನ್ನ ಪಾಲು, ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಕಾದಿರುತ್ತೇನೆ,” ಎಂದು ನಾನು ನನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ಎಂದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವೆನು.
25 The LORD is good to those who wait for him, to the soul who seeks him.
ಆತನನ್ನು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವವರಿಗೂ, ಆತನನ್ನು ಹುಡಕುವವರಿಗೂ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
26 It is good that a man should hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.
ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಮೌನವಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ಕಾಯುವುದು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು.
27 It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.
ತನ್ನ ಯೌವನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೊಗವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವುದು ಮಾನವನಿಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು.
28 Let him sit alone and keep silence, because he has laid it on him.
ಅವನು ಒಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಕುಳಿತು ಮೌನವಾಗಿರಲಿ. ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ ಅದನ್ನು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
29 Let him put his mouth in the dust, if it is so that there may be hope.
ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಇರಬಹುದೇನೋ ಎಂದು ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಧೂಳಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ.
30 Let him give his cheek to him who strikes him. Let him be filled full of reproach.
ಅವನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆಯುವವನಿಗೆ ಕೆನ್ನೆ ಕೊಡಲಿ. ಅವನು ನಿಂದೆಯಿಂದಲೇ ತುಂಬಿರಲಿ.
31 For the Lord will not cast off forever.
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಕರ್ತದೇವರು ಜನರನ್ನು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
32 For though he causes grief, yet he will have compassion according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses.
ಆತನು ದುಃಖಪಡಿಸಿದರೂ, ತನ್ನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಹಾಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಅನುಕಂಪ ತೋರಿಸುವರು.
33 For he does not afflict willingly, nor grieve the children of men.
ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಆತನು ಬೇಕೆಂದು ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಬಾಧೆಯನ್ನೂ, ದುಃಖವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
34 To crush under foot all the prisoners of the earth,
ಭೂಲೋಕದ ಸೆರೆಯವರನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾಲುಗಳ ಕೆಳಗೆ ತುಳಿಯುವುದನ್ನೂ,
35 to turn away the right of a man before the face of the Most High,
ಮಹೋನ್ನತನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ನಿರಾಕರಿಸುವುದನ್ನೂ,
36 to subvert a man in his cause, the Lord does not approve.
ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಅವನ ಜಗಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಿ ತೀರಿಸುವುದು ಕರ್ತದೇವರು ಮೆಚ್ಚುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
37 Who is he who says, and it comes to pass, when the Lord does not command it?
ಕರ್ತದೇವರು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸದೆ ಇರುವಾಗ, ಸಂಭವಿಸಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಹೇಳುವವನು ಯಾರು?
38 Does not evil and good come out of the mouth of the Most High?
ಮಹೋನ್ನತರ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಕೇಡೂ, ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳೂ ಹೊರಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೇ?
39 Why should a living man complain, a man for the punishment of his sins?
ಬದುಕುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ಪಾಪಗಳ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆಗಾಗಿ ಗೊಣಗುಟ್ಟುವುದೇಕೆ?
40 Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD.
ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೋಧಿಸಿ, ಪರೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಆಮೇಲೆ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳೋಣ.
41 Let’s lift up our heart with our hands to God in the heavens.
ನಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪರಲೋಕದ ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳೋಣ.
42 “We have transgressed and have rebelled. You have not pardoned.
ನಾವು ದ್ರೋಹಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಎದುರು ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದೇವೆ, ನೀವು ಮನ್ನಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
43 “You have covered us with anger and pursued us. You have killed. You have not pitied.
ಕೋಪದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ಹಿಂಸಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಕನಿಕರಿಸದೆ ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕಿರುವಿರಿ.
44 You have covered yourself with a cloud, so that no prayer can pass through.
ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯು ನಿನ್ನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಗೆ ಸೇರದಂತೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮೇಘದಿಂದ ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
45 You have made us an off-scouring and refuse in the middle of the peoples.
ನೀನು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಜನರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲ್ಮಷವನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ, ಕಸವನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀಯೆ.
46 “All our enemies have opened their mouth wide against us.
ನಮ್ಮ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ನಮಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಬಾಯಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
47 Terror and the pit have come on us, devastation and destruction.”
ಭಯವನ್ನೂ, ನಾಶವನ್ನೂ ನಾವು ಅನುಭವಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
48 My eye runs down with streams of water, for the destruction of the daughter of my people.
ನನ್ನ ಜನರ ನಾಶದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ, ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದ ನೀರು ನದಿಯಾಗಿ ಹರಿದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತದೆ.
49 My eye pours down and does not cease, without any intermission,
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಕಟಾಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ನೋಡುವ ತನಕ ನೇತ್ರವು ನಿರಂತರ ಕಣ್ಣೀರು ಸುರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
50 until the LORD looks down, and sees from heaven.
ವಿಶ್ರಮಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
51 My eye affects my soul, because of all the daughters of my city.
ನನ್ನ ನಗರದ ಪುತ್ರಿಯರೆಲ್ಲರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಪೀಡಿಸಿದೆ.
52 They have chased me relentlessly like a bird, those who are my enemies without cause.
ನನ್ನ ಶತ್ರುಗಳು ಕಾರಣವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಪಕ್ಷಿಯಂತೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಠೋರವಾಗಿ ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿ ಬೇಟೆಯಾಡಿದರು.
53 They have cut off my life in the dungeon, and have cast a stone on me.
ಅವರು ಕಾರಾಗೃಹದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಜೀವವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿ, ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
54 Waters flowed over my head. I said, “I am cut off.”
ನನ್ನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ನೀರು ಹರಿಯಿತು. ಆಗ ನಾನು ನಾಶವಾದೆನು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡೆನು.
55 I called on your name, LORD, out of the lowest dungeon.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನಾನು ಆಳವಾದ ಕಾರಾಗೃಹದಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡೆನು.
56 You heard my voice: “Do not hide your ear from my sighing, and my cry.”
ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೀ. “ನನ್ನ ಶ್ವಾಸಕ್ಕೂ, ನನ್ನ ಕೂಗಿಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಿವಿಯನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡಬೇಡಿರಿ.”
57 You came near in the day that I called on you. You said, “Do not be afraid.”
ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನು ಸಮೀಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು, “ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದಿರಿ.
58 Lord, you have pleaded the causes of my soul. You have redeemed my life.
ಕರ್ತದೇವರೇ, ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣದ ವ್ಯಾಜ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿ, ನನ್ನ ಜೀವವನ್ನು ವಿಮೋಚಿಸಿದ್ದೀರಿ.
59 LORD, you have seen my wrong. Judge my cause.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದೀರಿ, ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸಿರಿ.
60 You have seen all their vengeance and all their plans against me.
ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರತೀಕಾರವನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಿದ್ದೀರಲ್ಲಾ.
61 You have heard their reproach, LORD, and all their plans against me,
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ಅವರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳುವವರ ತುಟಿಗಳನ್ನೂ,
62 the lips of those that rose up against me, and their plots against me all day long.
ದಿನವಿಡೀ ನನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾದ ಅವರ ದುರಾಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕೇಳಿರುವಿರಿ.
63 You see their sitting down and their rising up. I am their song.
ಅವರನ್ನು ನೋಡು! ಕುಳಿತು ಅಥವಾ ನಿಂತಾಗ, ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಹಾಡುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಣಕಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.
64 You will pay them back, LORD, according to the work of their hands.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ಅವರ ಕೈಕೆಲಸಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಫಲವನ್ನು ಕೊಡಿ.
65 You will give them hardness of heart, your curse to them.
ಅವರಿಗೆ ದುಃಖಕರವಾದ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನೂ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಶಾಪವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡಿ.
66 You will pursue them in anger, and destroy them from under the heavens of the LORD.
ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರೇ, ಆಕಾಶದ ಕೆಳಗಿನಿಂದ ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸಿಸಿ ಹಾಳುಮಾಡಿರಿ.
