< John 9 >
1 As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth.
Yesu bu kaba mvioka, wumona mutu wumosi wubutuka phofo.
2 His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”
Buna minlonguki miandi minyuvula: —Labi, nani wuvola masumu: mutu wawu voti bambuta bandi muingi kabutuka phofo e?
3 Jesus answered, “This man did not sin, nor did his parents, but that the works of God might be revealed in him.
Yesu wuba vutudila: —Nana, kadi sia ti niandi wuvola masumu voti zimbota ziandi vayi mu diambu di mavanga ma Nzambi mamonika mu niandi.
4 I must work the works of him who sent me while it is day. The night is coming, when no one can work.
Mfueti vanga mavanga ma mutu wowo wuthuma muini bu wukidi. Buisibuawu yila mutu kalendi buela sala ko.
5 While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
Bu ndikidi va nza, minu ndidi kiezila ki nza.
6 When he had said this, he spat on the ground, made mud with the saliva, anointed the blind man’s eyes with the mud,
Bu kamana tuba mambu momo, wulobula madita va tsi, wusoba nyamba mu madita mandi; wuvinda nyamba beni mu meso ma phofo.
7 and said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which means “Sent”). So he went away, washed, and came back seeing.
Buna wunkamba: —Yenda ayi wukisukula ku buindi ki Silowe (“Silowe” dinsundula “wutumu”). Phofo beni wuyenda, wukisukula. Wutoma mona bu kaba mvutuka.
8 Therefore the neighbors and those who saw that he was blind before said, “Is not this he who sat and begged?”
Batu bafikasana yandi ayi batu babo batuama kunzaba ti niandi wubanlombi, bayuvasana: —A beno! Niandi ko mutu wowo wubedi vuandanga ayi wubedi lombanga e?
9 Others were saying, “It is he.” Still others were saying, “He looks like him.” He said, “I am he.”
Bankaka batuba ti: —Niandi! Bankaka batuba ti: —Nana, niandi ko! Dedakana kuandi badedikini! Vayi niandi veka wuba kamba: —Minu kuandi!
10 They therefore were asking him, “How were your eyes opened?”
Buna bawu banyuvula: —Vayi buevi buzibukididingi meso maku e?
11 He answered, “A man called Jesus made mud, anointed my eyes, and said to me, ‘Go to the pool of Siloam and wash.’ So I went away and washed, and I received sight.”
Wuba kamba: —Mutu wowo bantedilanga Yesu, niandi sobikisidingi nyamba, vindidi yawu mu meso mama, bosi wukhembi ti yenda kisukula ku buindi ki Silowe. Buna ndiedingi, ndikisukudi ayi mbueningi.
12 Then they asked him, “Where is he?” He said, “I do not know.”
Banyuvula: —Mutu beni kuevi kadi e? Wuba vutudila: —Ndikadi zaba!
13 They brought him who had been blind to the Pharisees.
Banata mutu wowo wuba phofo kuidi Bafalisi.
14 It was a Sabbath when Jesus made the mud and opened his eyes.
Kiba lumbu ki saba kioki Yesu kasobikisa nyamba ayi kazibula meso ma phofo.
15 Again therefore the Pharisees also asked him how he received his sight. He said to them, “He put mud on my eyes, I washed, and I see.”
Bafalisi mamvawu banyuvula buevi meso mandi mazibukila. Niandi wuba vutudila ti: —Nyamba katudidingi mu meso mama, ndikisukudingi ayi ndilembo moni!
16 Some therefore of the Pharisees said, “This man is not from God, because he does not keep the Sabbath.” Others said, “How can a man who is a sinner do such signs?” So there was division among them.
Ndambu Bafalisi bakamba: —Mutu wawu kasi ba kuidi Nzambi ko. Bila kakinzikanga ko lumbu ki saba! Vayi bankaka bavutula: —Buna buevi nkua masumu kalenda vangila bikumu banga biobi e? Mu bila kioki batu bavasuka.
17 Therefore they asked the blind man again, “What do you say about him, because he opened your eyes?” He said, “He is a prophet.”
Babuela yuvula diaka phofo: —Ngeyo veka, mbi wuntuba mu diambu di mutu wowo e? Bila meso maku kazibudi. Wuba vutudila: —Niandi mbikudi kadi.
18 The Jews therefore did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind and had received his sight, until they called the parents of him who had received his sight,
Bayuda basia wilukila ko ti niandi wuba phofo ayi basia wilukila ko ti meso mandi mazibukidi; diawu nate batumisa bambuta bandi.
19 and asked them, “Is this your son, whom you say was born blind? How then does he now see?”
Baba yuvula: —Bukiedika kuandi ti niawu niandi muanꞌeno wowo lueti kamba ti wubutuka phofo e? Vayi buna buevi kalembo monina buabu e?
20 His parents answered them, “We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind;
Zimbuta bandi baba vutudila: —Tuzebi ti niawu niandi muanꞌeto, wubutuka phofo.
21 but how he now sees, we do not know; or who opened his eyes, we do not know. He is of age. Ask him. He will speak for himself.”
Vayi buevi keka monina buabu, diodi tukadi dizaba ayi tukadi zaba nani wunzibudingi meso. Vayi weka wuyunduka, lunyuvula niandi veka bila maka tuba mambu momo madi mu niandi.
22 His parents said these things because they feared the Jews; for the Jews had already agreed that if any man would confess him as Christ, he would be put out of the synagogue.
Zimbuta bandi zitubila mambu momo bila boma zimona Bayuda; mu diambu di Bayuda bawizana ti woso mutu wela kikinina ti niandi Klisto, buna mutu wowo wela kanduku mu buela kotanga mu nzo yi lukutukunu.
23 Therefore his parents said, “He is of age. Ask him.”
Diawu bambuta bandi zitubila ti: “weka wuyunduka, lunyuvula niandi veka.”
24 So they called the man who was blind a second time, and said to him, “Give glory to God. We know that this man is a sinner.”
Bafalisi batumisa mu khumbu yimmuadi mutu wowo wuba phofo, bankamba: —Vana nkembo kuidi Nzambi bila beto tuzebi ti mutu wuna widi nkua masumu!
25 He therefore answered, “I do not know if he is a sinner. One thing I do know: that though I was blind, now I see.”
Vayi mutu beni wuba vutudila: —Enati widi nkua masumu, diodi ndisi dizaba ko vayi diambu dimosi kaka nzebi: ndibedi phofo vayi buabu ndilembo moni.
26 They said to him again, “What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?”
Babuela kunyuvula diaka: —Vayi mbi kasidingi e? Buevi kazibudidingi meso maku e?
27 He answered them, “I told you already, and you did not listen. Why do you want to hear it again? You do not also want to become his disciples, do you?”
Niandi wuba vutudila: —A mamveno diaka, keti ndilukembingi mambu moso! Vayi lumengi kueno wa! Bila mbi lutididi diaka kuma wila e? Bati beno mamveno lutidi kituka minlonguki miandi e?
28 They insulted him and said, “You are his disciple, but we are disciples of Moses.
Bamfinga ayi bankamba: —Ngeyo widi nlonguki andi, vayi beto tuidi minlonguki mi Moyize!
29 We know that God has spoken to Moses. But as for this man, we do not know where he comes from.”
Beto tuzebi ti Nzambi wuyolukila mu Moyize, vayi mutu wowo, tuisi zaba ko kuevi kaba!
30 The man answered them, “How amazing! You do not know where he comes from, yet he opened my eyes.
Mutu beni wuba vutudila: —Didi ditsiminanga! Beno luisi zaba ko kuevi kaba, vayi zibudingi meso mama e.
31 We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, he listens to him.
Muaki beto tuzebi ti Nzambi kawilanga bankua masumu ko vayi enati mutu weti kinzika Nzambi ayi weta vanga luzolo luandi buna niandi Nzambi keta wila.
32 From the age (aiōn ) it has never been heard of that anyone opened the eyes of someone born blind.
Bila tuwilu ko ti mutu wuzibula meso ma mutu wubutuka phofo. (aiōn )
33 If this man were not from God, he could do nothing.”
Enati mutu wowo kasia ba kuidi Nzambi ko nganu kalendi vanga diambu dimosi ko.
34 They answered him, “You were altogether born in sins, and do you teach us?” Then they threw him out.
Bawu bamvutudila: —Ngeyo wubutukila mu masumu ayi ngeyo weka kutulonga e? Bankuka ku nganda.
35 Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and finding him, he said, “Do you believe in the Son of God?”
Yesu bu kawa ti bankuka ku nganda ayi bu kambakula, buna wunkamba: —Wunwilukila mu Muana Mutu e?
36 He answered, “Who is he, Lord, that I may believe in him?”
Buna mutu beni wumvutudila: —Tata, mutu beni nani muingi ndiwilukila mu niandi e?
37 Jesus said to him, “You have both seen him, and it is he who speaks with you.”
Yesu wunkamba: —Wummueni, mutu wowo wulembo tubana yaku, niandi.
38 He said, “Lord, I believe!” and he worshiped him.
Mutu wumvutudila: —Pfumu, nguilukidi! Wumbuongimina.
39 Jesus said, “I came into this world for judgment, that those who do not see may see; and that those who see may become blind.”
Yesu wunkamba: —Minu ndiyiza va nza yayi mu diambu di tsambusulu muingi bankambu monanga bamona ayi muingi bobo bammonanga bakituka baphofo.
40 Those of the Pharisees who were with him heard these things, and said to him, “Are we also blind?”
Bafalisi bankaka baba yandi bawa mambu momo, banyuvula: —Buevi, beto mamveto tuidi baphofo e?
41 Jesus said to them, “If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, ‘We see.’ Therefore your sin remains.
Yesu wuba vutudila: —Enati luidi baphofo nganu luisi masumu ko. Vayi buabu lulembo tubi ti lulembo moni diawu masumu meno madi kaka yeno!
